I may buy a Passport plan, go to some games, and sell the majority (usually in the past I have bought cheap seats to top games ( and sell for just 5-10 over cost). Do the Rockies have a limit on how much you can resell? Do they ever cancel plans for reselling? My guess is that they probably don't care that much given how poor the team is right now, but curious if anyone knows.

Always will hate the Dodgers but if there was any way we could land them next season, that would be the start to a broken franchise. Probably don’t have enough money to afford them, let alone one of them but a man can dream?

Why can you not buy grey jerseys online? I’ve seen them in the shop at Coors, but can’t seem to find them on fanatics or MLB shop

Worst case scenario as far as I’m concerned. I can’t bring myself to root for either, so I’ll just wait until the Rockies’ run next year.

It made me wonder “what is the best team construction for the Colorado Rockies?” I’ve seen comments about finding pitchers with good fastball and sliders without relying too heavily on breaking balls.

Curious to know what others think

Here is my realistic list (given CO’s reputation):

1. Speedy, defensive CF with average to good OBP to take advantage of base running
2. Other outfielders with good speed to cover the larger outfield of Coors
3. Power hitting corner infielders (1B, 3B)
4. Starting pitching that relies on fastballs not breaking balls
5. Average relief pitching
6. Hard throwing closing pitcher

Now that the ALCS and NLCS fields are set, it’s clear that America can only choose to get behind Cleveland. Hoping for a Guardians-Mets series, because screw the Dodgers and Yankees (esp LA).

Alright Rockies fans, let's go Mets. I have lived out here for 25 years, and adopted the Rockies and this season even went to a handful of games (all wins!). Now, I could use your support for another perennial underperformer. Admittedly I am not quite the baseball fan now that I once was, growing up in NJ in the eighties. I would love to see a repeat of rhe subway series.

Just watched the excellent documentary "Casa Bonita, Mi Amor" about the South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone buying the venerable Casa Bonita and sinking $40 million into renovations just to get it open. They will almost certainly never make that money back, but kept spending because they wanted to save a Colorado institution.

Seeing Parker in his Rockies shirt announcing the purchase made me dream that our team could get that kind of love, with the Colorado natives purchasing a stake in the team and restoring it to former glory. Not for profit, but for love of the team. I know it's a pipe dream and Monfort would never sell (unless he had to due to scandal like the original owner did), but the blueprint is there.

And we'd have sopapillas at the park!
