Hello Everyone ! I played D1 when I was a kid, by curiosity, but I never went back to it, particularly because i find the character's walking too slow. But I would be very happy to play to a remastered. Does someone know if Blizzard will make it, one day? And if yes, do you know when?
Someone do the math on this
Who the f was it? Been driving me nuts.
I thought it was Covetous Shen but now I'm not sure. Maybe someone in D2 Act II? Or some rando NPC in D3 in town talking about things in the wilderness?
Hola a todos alguien sabe si se puede jugar diablo 1 en modo cooperativo en red local ?
I dropped the Mythic Shroud of False Dead and would like to use it for my Bloodwave Necro. The problem is that I have +30% armor on my chest piece. I’ve also already equipped all my jewelry with the new gems that give +160 armor and +300 armor on my boots. However, in T4, I can’t reach 1000 armor if I switch to the Shroud of False Dead. Do you have any ideas on how I can get more armor? On the other equipped items, I’ve already modified important affixes, such as cooldown reduction or attack speed, so I’m not flexible there anymore.
You can check out the git repository here... its a single html file.

The state of the game at launch was laughable. To avoid controversial big ticket items like balance, loot chase or endgame - one example for many: stash manager 4.0 loading all items at all times. Some half-assed piece of code just blatantly cut'n'pasted from D3 to D4. Lessons were clearly not learned!
Now that the general consensus is that "D4 bad" is no longer the case there are still a lot of things that are putting me off.
So armory is in and respec cost out, cool. But it's still the silly iteration that doesn't store items instead it's more of a playlist. Which means every time you hit, it feels like putting a bunch of carefully sorted clothes in a washer and hitting spin. And it doesn't solve the lack of stash space either, instead of killing two birds...
I didn't expect the game to have SSF at this point but the gorge between group play and solo play is just as vast as it was in D3. E.g. Ubers - solo player needs to provide 4 keys, a group needs to provide 4 keys (not 16). How is that any different than a SP having to complete 25 bounties whereas MPs only do 6?
What's worse is that Blizzard broke its promise that all in-game content will be soloable. Which promise will Blizzard break next? My money is on "We will not sell power".
However, the thing that bothers me the most is the fact D4 devs managed to dig themselves the grave that D3 devs took 6-7 years to dig. I'm referring to the excessive screen clutter and visual pollution. A year from launch people were already speeding GR150's, zooming around like The Flash and blowing up the whole ultrawide screen of monsters with the push of a button. What happened to 'slow things down' and 'focus on combat rather than spam'? Unfortunately, this problem is like Pandora's box.
Hello.
I’ve never played any Diablo games or ARPGs with similar mechanics, so I’m a complete newcomer. I’m looking to invest some time in classic PC games, and I think Diablo 2 seems like the right fit for what I’m seeking.
I plan to play offline, I’m aware there’s an online option, but it’s not something that interest me. Do you think the offline experience of Diablo 2 still holds up well today? Also, are there any important gameplay mechanics, controls, progression shenanigans, or general advice that a complete newbie like me should know before diving in?
I’ve come across something called Project Diablo a few times. Would it be a good idea for a newcomer to install it when I get the game?
Thank you!
Edit: I do plan to get the Diablo 2 Resurrected, not the crude old Diablo 2
Anything I should know or read before I jump in? Never played Diablo 2 but can’t play 4 since I’ll be on a plane so I thought 2 would be cool. On a steam deck. Thanks!
Been interested in playing for a while now, debating on getting Resurrected but maybe 4 is a good starting point for a brand new player like me or is 3 the best way to start? What would you all recommend?
updated for clarity
Hello all,
I'm looking for a Hydra/Orb leveling guide that starts the leveling process with the fire tree. The guide should be written, detailed, step-by-step that includes the skill and attribute point progression. I'm looking for something similar to the old MeteOrb guide which includes the skill point progression. I will be introducing a few teen relatives to D2R. We will be playing mostly solo online (players 1) with occasional partying with each other as our schedules permit.
A written guide will be helpful as a reference tool in keeping track of and directing the leveling progression. I found LlamaSC's guide playthrough videos on youtube, but I can't dedicate 6+ hours to watching him level because of RL obligations and limited play time. Teens have a very short attention span and won't sit for 6+ hours to take notes. Also their playtime is limited due to school, chores, and after school activities.
Is there such a guide?
"New" season started, made it to 70 but how active is this game?
Any point in playing?
I'm struggling with every character I own trying to farm Baal. If there are ghosts I get immediately killed by a screen full of lighting. If there's the little skeletons they run up and one shot me. I can surive multiple hits from anything else in the game it feels like, but these two things. Is there a trick, or am I doing something wrong. I have max lightning resist, but even with that the damage is to much. I dont think more defense is gonna help with the skeletons. Im at a lost. Any help or advice would be amazing!
Hey everyone!
I’ve put together a Discord trading bot for Diablo II: Resurrected and could use some testers.
• Separate Channels: It automatically posts trades in different channels (e.g., PC SC Ladder, PSN HC Ladder, etc.).
• Pinned Boards: Keeps a pinned list of “For Sale” and “ISO” so everything’s easy to find at a glance.
• Slash Commands: Use /posttrade (for sale), /iso (in search of), /searchtrades (find items), and /deletetrade (remove your listings).
• Quick Setup: It’s all inside Discord—no extra sites or logins needed.
• Manageable: You can list, search, or delete trades, and see immediate updates.
Looking for: Anyone willing to post a few trades, try the commands, and let me know if something breaks or feels off. If you’d like to help, please drop a comment for invite!
Thanks in advance, and I appreciate all feedback!
Does the required level of the item(as well as defense, or damage stats it has) matter, as long as it is the matching item and it has the right amount of sockets?
Seems like i have everything to make grief, but i need a base for that, read that the best is phase blade which is best farmed at cows, however, I've only beaten the game on normal so it would be pretty low lvl if it were to drop from normal cows. Does it matter?
I don't care about this game enough. Lol go talk somewhere else.
Just finished the D4 campaign and started the Deeds of Champions questline. Got to the Tree of Whispers part, which requires:
I got the 10 favor, but then apparently made the dumb mistake of bumping into a Raven and turning in my 10 favor there. The "Gain 10 favor" part of the quest was checked off, but the "Get a reward from the Tree of Whispers" part remained incomplete. Damn.
So, I went to get more favor but the Tree is no longer there when I return. No Tree of Whispers means no completion of Deeds of Champions. No completion of Deeds of Champions means no access to the endgame. Am I like just permanently stuck now, or is there some other way I can get around this?
I have the pox faulds and have used them effectively before, but I can't now remember which button activates them. Please help and confirm which button I need
Thank you!
Tom
Help this is my first Arreat Anciens encounter in Diablo 2 (Hardcore)
Hey, Paladin lvl 33 here,
Played a lot the game when i was younger, like 20 years earlier… And now i am lvl 32 hammerdin in HC. I have no memory of the exact difficulty of the thing, but i can remember it was kinda hard…
And i remember I couldn’t TP or back?
Here my stats.
What do you think? Any advice ?
Thanks a lot!
So I started a new character and the game threw me into the seasonal campaign with a level 4 barbarian. I followed the quest and it took me to a sorceress and a giant demon whose head (?) we needed to take. I cannot put a dent in this things health. I died to it like 10 times.
This can't be how the game starts. Either I need to go off and do something else to level up or seasonal is meant for after the base game but I can't figure out how to use this new character in the base game. It keeps sending me back to the campaign.
So can someone help me out by clarifying what it is I'm supposed to be doing?
I’m using the Maxroll build, and I’ve been super lucky with gear this season - all my pieces are 800 with bis stats. I walk into a room and I can’t even get close enough to hit anything before they die lmao
Hello! It's my first time playing Diablo II and I was thinking about making a necromancer. I loved the gameplay of the necromancer in Diablo III, the fact that you had an army of undead at your side was so great
