I owned Diablo II well before the remake was released, but I recently got a new computer without transferring any data or installing apps from my previous hard drive. I'm excited to play the Diablo II remake, but I also enjoy the nostalgia of playing the original 2000 version. However, it seems that Battle.net no longer offers the original game. Is there still a way to access the original release of Diablo II?

Sure, the game did other things in the past that were sketchy on occasion...

But I'm talking about crashing in the middle of playing so hard that the PC turns off. No crash dumps are created. (Yes I have them turned on.) No events are logged. It just kills the whole computer.

If I just sit in game and do almost nothing like walk around or teleport from place to place or travel by mount - no problem. I can do that for hours. Soon as I start fighting mobs in any area on T4 difficulty, I've got 5 to 10 minutes before I'm done. Usually closer to 5.

T3 almost never does this. T1 and T2 not at all, but I want to play in T4.

I've checked all bios and drivers and updates at the latest version. (Nothing has changed since a month ago)

I was just farming these shrines of Akarat and I got randomly jumped by like 200 of these little guys. I was so surprised I didn't even know they were in the game.

I'm looking for help please - I ran a holy fire paladin SSF through normal/nightmare with no issues. Upon getting to Act 1 hell I switched to a standard zealot build and I've been getting regularly killed, and my merc has very little survivability too. Diablo, Lord of Terror: The Ultimate Loser?

Can we talk about how big of a loser Diablo is? This guy has worn the same red soulstone for the past 10 years, probably deluding himself into being an "epic prime evil" in his own mind. He’s the ugliest neckbeard I’ve ever seen, and I swear I can practically smell his stench wafting in through the screen. He spends every waking moment playing the latest Nephalem slop, which is garbage in its own right.

Just hearing his nauseating monotone voice is enough to remind me how many weird nerds infest the Hell community if this guy’s the one they’ve chosen to idolize. Holy hell.

What really gets me is how incredibly self-righteous and elitist he is. He’s overly competitive in a god-made Sanctuary where nobody cares, but in his delusional world, he’s king of the hill. At least he’s so dogshit at AoE that he quits every league within a week when his delusions of grandeur get shattered.

And let’s be real—the saddest part has got to be the gold digger brothers who actually puts up with him. Imagine tolerating his fat flap stench every night when he’s getting what he wants. You know they are just hanging around to squeeze whatever power they can out of him, holding their nose through the whole sad routine.

I'm a level 22 wizard on normal mode. should I go into act 2 yet or keep getting exp? I didn't go into a few areas in the highland crossing and I think the drowned temple i don't remember. should I go there first? can I go back later? should I just keep going with the story?

So I decided to check the total skills and stats from 99 plus bonus stats and skills from quest completion. Total stats is 510 [495 in levels to 99] then Total skills is 110 [99 in levels and 11 from quests] is this accurate?

I am literally looking everywhere. Google searches. Bnet app. Bnet website. I own the game and the expansion. They show as "in library", but there is no download available.

A google search was the only way I could actually find vanilla D2 on bnet. From there, I downloaded a launcher for the vanilla game but it said I don't own the game. When I clicked the BUY link it took me to a website that's 404 lmao.

Is my brain just cooked?

Hi, so i'm thinking of getting a diablo game but i'm unsure of wether to get 1 and 2 or the third one, i'm definitely not getting the 4th because of how p2p i've heard it is but i'm unsure of what to get since I heard from my friend Diablo 3 was really fun but it's changed a lot since he's last played it. Does anyone have any advice on which one I should get?

Edit: From what people have been saying in the comment it turn's out I was completely wrong about Diablo 4 being p2p, sorry about that, I mistook it for diablo immortal but it's still kinda pricey for me.

Currently, there is no option to hide the bow or crossbow for Rogues. This lack of customization detracts from character fashion, as the bow often clashes with various armor designs. Moreover, it can interfere with Back Trophies, creating noticeable clipping issues that compromise the intended visual appeal of both the weapon and the trophy.

Introducing a toggle option to hide the bow or crossbow would significantly improve the customization experience, allowing players to maintain a sleek and cohesive look without unwanted visual interference. This feature would offer Rogues the flexibility to prioritize their preferred aesthetics without sacrificing functionality or character identity.

For those suggesting to “unequip the bow” entirely:
Removing the bow isn’t a practical solution, as it would lead to a loss of valuable stats. I use the bow purely for its stat boosts, not for any active skills or gameplay mechanics. The suggestion here is simply to add a toggle to hide the bow visually, not to remove it. This would allow players like me—who rely on the bow’s stats but don’t use bow-based skills—to enjoy a cleaner look without sacrificing our build’s effectiveness.

To the Devs:
This is the only reason I do NOT buy cosmetics from the Shop. (FYI). I like the "Beauty in Sin" for Rogue so much, I want to make an Assassin (I don't use bow skills) and yet, a BIG unmatched/ugly Bow is on the back.

• Also, why is it impossible to cross-transmog weapon types? Would be nice if we could do this.

Never played the dialogue games so I got immortal on mobile. Everything I finish signing in the game restarts and then after loading I have to sign in again like a loop

I've started with Diablo III and had a lot of fun for hundreds of hours without ever knowing about the fame of Diablo II. Then I've tried Diablo II Resurrected but I didn't understand much and lost interest. After Diablo VI came out, I've played for a while but disliked it too.

Now I've seen a lot of streams and Let's plays about Diablo II and learned a lot about the runewords and how to properly build your character and I can see the bigger picture, I guess.

So tell me why it is the greatest diablo game and why the others aren't that great so I can understand it completely. Thanks a lot :)

I just started playing d4 this season. I did the original campaign and now I am lvl 60(128) doing endgame content. If I buy Vessel of Hatred now, will I have to do the new campaign immediately to get benefits like runes and stuff? I would rather wait doing the campaign till next season.

Is it just random, or there is a way to get it?

Are there any problems with the game?

Yeah, so after I have downloaded the latest update from Steam, Now, all the other Music and sounds are still there. For example, NPC’s voice, bird singing, water sound, the skill sound when a player is casting skills etc, are all still there, the ONLY sound that is missing is the Boss battle music. The battle music that plays when you are fighting, for example Duriel, or the big World Boss, are missing. No boss combat music at all for me now. I checked the game sound setting and restarted my game and PC, now still no Boss battle music. What may have caused the issue, and how do I fix it? I need urgent help from an expert that knows, thank you very much!

I hate those red circles!!! I always die!!! Is there a way to counter them?

I have returned to the game after quite a while, and found that the main quest has completely vanished from my character. It's definitely not been skipped. Is there a way for me to resume it? Google has turned up loads of people with the same issue but no answers.

I’m not calling for something one way or the other and I’m definitely not an expert with balancing, just curious which way people lean. I’m assuming a majority would prefer that all classes were up near Spiritborn levels; I don’t hate the idea as seeing them melt T4 bosses is neat and convenient for farming, but it largely removes any challenge other than higher Pits. That being said I’d only really be happy with a nerf if the T4 content or ladder bosses were in turn made more rewarding; imagine if instead of nuking a boss in 3 seconds flat over and over, you actually had a boss fight that lasted at least a minute or two, but you had a much higher mythic drop chance, or even some kind of bad luck protection or a bar you built up ala Whispers until you got a mythic drop.

Gone a bit off topic but TLDR; title, buff everyone up? Nerf the top down? Maybe ideally a little of both, have everyone meet in the middle?
