Druid in Blizzard Diablo 4

Hey Guys! Im Angren and im back with some druid action!
so some of you maybe know me I was a druid content creator from s2-5 but with VOH I played Spiritborn all the way because druid wasnt in a good spot.
But with all the changes this will be my first druid build I want to share with you!(Will do some more :)
So The inifnite Cataclysm build will be an absolute banger build with all of the changes in S7.
What did get changed?
So a quick summary how to play this build:
well its a snapshot Perma OP perma Crit build :D
you will fully charge your qax and xan run for 100% Overpower and crit and more dmg and you will snapshot various mechanics like hurricane earthspike (resonance) and then you gonna cast cata and either run around and kill everything or dash around with shred (rota down below will explain this)
in my YT Guide I covered the whole changes and how this build will work!
Unfortunately I got no showcase for you guys because I didnt play s6 with druid and I also barely played the s7 ptr!
So trust me this build will be good, gameplay video will follow!
I will cover a quick summary of the build down below!
YT Guide:
Charplaner:
will also add a lightning storm leveling version before you have your unlitmited cata loop

Q&A:
Is this a day 1 starter?
- well because you will get your gear very fast its not a lvl 1 starter but after you got a mjölnic ring and 2 tempers with CATA CD reduction you should have enough to start this build - until then just play a normal Lightning storm build!
Snapshots?
- Hurricane +5 Ranks
- QAX + Xan Rune
- Blood howl DMG Multi
- Earth spike Resonance
- Shroud of false death
Incenses and elixirs?
If you have any further questions please ask them!
What should i try ?
I just started playing about a month ago and have been using a Druid; can anyone explain what I am to expect when the new season hits?
So based on the little I'm seeing are we looking at druid being S/S+ tier in S7? I barely played S6 so I'm definitely intrigued to come back in S7 if they have finally helped out the druid.
Anyone got a build involving the new aspect that makes hurricanes around your wolves? Sounds like a fun build.
In the latest patch notes update they mention lacerate is now cancellable. That was one pet peeve of mine in the PTR when I tried the lacerate build.
Should make things like infernal hordes and speed farming easier. I hope I don’t button mash too much to have it cancel immediately
This was the exact feedback I gave the Devs regarding Boulder for S7. Could be a coincidence but either way Bouldercaine is looking good!
So I am following the Thor & friends guide (https://d4builds.gg/builds/ea51d9cf-4663-446e-9adf-2210ae74ec8c/?var=0) from @bored_guy_in_dc. Currently t3, p245, glyphs only 15. i understand the op mechanics about cataclysm and have my cooldown at 21 seconds. My question is about the lightning storm though. It does about 300k damage at the moment but every now and then it does damage between 15mio and 30mio and I can’t figure out when it does that and why. Any ls experts around that can explain that?
I can solo T4 but it still feels like my damage is lacking somewhere.
genuine question for all the Druids our here. How are you feeling about the new druid amulet?
I have been running shred or stormclaw since S4 and have had fun with it. I know they are not meta or anything but they were fun. When the announced the new amulet I was thought "meh that is not that great tbh."
But now it looks like they are changing the percentage up higher for Lupine Ferocity and now starts at 150%. It might actually be worth running now, but losing envenom ranks hurts.
Just wanting to see y'all opinions
And before anyone says anything
Basically, according to the maxroll build guide I'm following, I'm supposed to make my spirit generator attack Shred once I get the Ring of Starless Skies, problem is, Shred uses spirit, and I very quickly run out of it. The Starless bonus doesn't replenish it enough. For reference I am level 250 with all the Mythic gear shown there and they are fully upgraded.
I have mad wolfs glee with 7 ranks gained on werewolf skills. All my skills are werewolfs and even my wolfs are changed to werewolfs. It feels so fun to play, currently level 58.
So, when I put storms companion on my wolves use to become electrified and eyes change. Now nothing happens, I’ve tried taking off Aspect of Alpha and doesn’t change anything. I’ve yet to see them do the “Storm Howl” or anything out of ordinary. Are they not meant to use electricity damage or does the visual of attack change or anything? Makes me think it’s a bug as sometimes one of the two Werewolves eyes glow and has bolts coming off him but it’s just so inconsistent. Makes me think maybe the pants aren’t working or any of hits benefits. I’ve seen videos in which all wolves/werewolves are electrified and eyes glowing…
Any help with what it is or could be?
Changes to runeworkers aspect, mjolnyc ryng (now benefits from electricution glyph), new lightning bolt rune, and overload aspect being a lightning bolt instead (which will benefit from electricution glyph too). Plus all the changes to werewolf passives and lupine ferocity and a new amulet... It's gonna be stormclaw thunderbolt god.
Now if they can fix adaptability aspect, it would be perfect.
I'm shredding in T2 pretty easily now with pretty mediocre gear but wondering if this aspect isn't worth using. Is five or 8 ranks to shred just really not that good?
Is hurricane’s lucky hit per tick of damage or over the entire duration?
Thanks
I have been playing around with all classes and really started enjoying a Pulverize build however it seems in most guides Petrify is used over Grizzly Rage. The bonuses from Grizzly Rage seem to be very good, I am able to sustain it for very long periods of time, having an additional Unstopable also seems great.
There are also a few codex powers that look great - one applying Rabies and one for Critical damage.
They should add Heightened Malice to also proc against bosses. Maybe in few seconds rather than 3 or more enemy poisoned. Really struggle to kill bosses.
Does anyone know if these two will work well together? Both give stealth in different ways, one gives guaranteed crits after breaking stealth, and the other gives 401% damage on the next attack after breaking stealth. They don't seem to stack when I'm using them together, does anyone know if they do work together well?
I'm theory crafting and I was curious if anyone tested whether each tick of hurricane applied the 20% poison from the Snake - Overload spirit boon. I was then going to add in wolf's rain aspect to trigger a potentially absurb amount of poison procs.
Will this work how I'm thinking it will work? Between myself and just 4 wolves this would apply 10 poison stacks per second since hurricane hits every half second.
Hi everybody,
Just a Little question regarding the shred druid. Iam actual speed farming torment 3 and Iam very happy with this character.
My Problem is the Lack of damage when this Build is fighting against Bosses…
The big damage come from claw of Lightning but it seems not to work on Single Target…
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance for your Feedback :)
Greetings
My best friend and i play the recent season together after we took a long break from diablo. I play a Spiritborn and he plays the druid in question. Both of us use an endgame build from icyveins.
https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/hurricane-druid-build/
Here is his. We play Torment 4 for some days now and he is struggling with his damage output. He did everything the build says, is paragon 200+ and has every itemslot with Ancestral items. Both of us rely on overpowered damage but he doesn't even come close to my damage output.
Now the question if we/he does something wrong or if he should skill something else like Boulder/Landslide druid.
hi all, just want to showoff that's actually possible for druids to clear pit 100 confortably without an overpower build (I really don't like this overpower play style of waiting the good spot to snapshot OP). This is a pure landslide based on crit damage, gear and setup at the end of the video. My Items are not so bad but I still miss ancestral aftershock aspect and a GA envenom amulet.
Btw if someone has those two to sell dm me =)
Not sure which would be better. Just cleared a pit 95 with both but the one with the GA to Dmg took longer and seemed to hit less hard. Curious what you guys think
I have claw selected as my basic skill but do I need to also have storm strike? I don’t see anything happen when I cast claw currently
So I'm a casual player and this is the first 4GA item I have found. I'm wondering if it's any good and worth making a build around or traiding?
Because Earth can apply to other skills but just wanted to make sure.
