Fighter's Mighty Throw seems to not be creating an additional pulse nor generating any Barrier. It was working fine in Season 6. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!
did anyone get one yet? did a ton of gambling for it and zero, maybe item is limited to drop only.
For this aspect it states that ground stomp creates an earthquake causing x damage and while standing in earthquake you deal x increased damage. Will I still get the benefit of the "whilst standing in earthquakes you deal x increased damage if the earthquake is from another source IE tec rune, or to get the benefit does the earthquake have to come from ground stomp?
Does the Bleed Augment to make Rupture have a chance to deal double damage affect the whole explosion/bleeding? Or just the initial hit?
Our of curiosity I tested it just now after everything move to eternal and the patch was applied, as it seems the snapshot still works.
Just wanted to share *my* build for season 7. I made this after doing hours and hours of testing on the PTR back when it was up for S7. This has multiple ways to pull in enemies -- withc power gem that pulls every 8 seconds, Piranhado witch power that when max rank will always be on the screen and always pulling stuff, and every time you cast WOTB ultimate you'll also do a big pull. I call it the super sucker build.
You spawn EQs like crazy and constantly pull everything into your quakes. No need for HOTA -- you can just run Shako (to be tanky and for quality of life, plus for armor cap purposes) and Shroud of False Death (for nice move speed between enemy packs).
I made this build around all the EQ stuff, using Double Swing just as a "way to proc everything" and so we can use Ramaladni for damage scaling. I was EASILY clearing pit 100+ on the PTR with very imperfect gear. Double Swing itself doesn't do much meaningful damage in this setup, it's just there to spend resource and proc all your +damage effects like Starless Skies and so on. It's just the button you hold down that makes all the EQ shenanigans happen. It was really fun to play, highly mobile, tanky/strong defense, and very good damage. EQ Barb is gonna ROCK this season ;)

Hope y'all have a fun season 7!
Edit: I set this up so it works with a minimum of Paragon level 226. Before that, you'll have to lose something somewhere, but that's how it goes with Paragons.
Hope we’re all excited for S7 later.
Anyone done some PTR testing on which levelling build is better, Upheaval or HOTA? Any other good options?
Then later on with the addition of the Armory I’m thinking HOTA-quake for pushing and Leap-quake for speed farming?
I’m sure there will be plenty of fun options just looking for max efficiency as that’s the play style I personally enjoy.
Do some enemies have physical attacks (not elemental) that are unavoidable? As in not even having 100% dodge is safe. If so, which attacks? Excluding ones like the one-hit-kill mechanics like Uber lilith.
Is it worth leveling them to 100?
When I goto set Bash for Walking Arsenal…. There is no Dual Wield option. I have Bludgeoning and Auto Select? I had it at one point… but it’s gone and I can’t get it back…. Any help be appreciated. On Xbox if that matters!
(WW barb here)
I tempered my weapons to deal +20% chance for whirlwind to deal double damage and I feel like it didn’t change anything at all…
If someone could explain to me how this works, I’d genuinely appreciate it.
I’m wondering if there’s a calculation that I’m missing here.
Thinking of doing the hell hammer upheaval build for s7 wanted to see if anyone had tried it on PTR and had thoughts. Thank you!
So it seems barely improved for next Season. Also it says, “When causing an enemy to Bleed, you have a chance equal to your Critical Strike Chance to increase the Bleed amount by 70%[x], and also increased by 100%[+] of your Critical Strike Damage bonus.” The 70% multiplier is okay but if the additive damage is just your current critical strike damage additive bonus (i.e., 100% of your crit damage % bonus is just that number), then there’s no incentive to stack % crit strike damage over % dot damage since the dot range has a higher max on affixes.
What’s the best build going to be in the new season? What are we looking forward to?
Around 11:30PM EST tonight I’ll be giving away 15 billion seasonal gold to the Barbarian who I deem to be The Beefiest Beefcake Barbarian of them all.
What the fuck is that supposed to mean you say? Well I’ll be judging on the following :
Gear Masterworking Tempering Build Style Overall Beefiness
IMPORTANT: To qualify you just have a headset and be able to talk about your build for a minute or two.
If you have not been grinding as a barb all season don’t enter. If you don’t have a single piece of 4GA max aspect gear don’t enter.
Drop your tags and the full description of the what you deem to be your best piece of Legendary gear in your kit. (GA, MW, TEMPERING, etc). If that piece isn’t impressive you won’t be invited to show off your build. (Check bottom edit tho)
You’ll be invited to my party when I’m off work around 11:30/12 tonight.
There may be prizes for second, third, fourth and who knows based on the field. See you beefcakes later.
Drago
Edit: to open this up a bit further, if you’re a struggling barb and just need that one piece of 2GA gear drop your tag and what you need and I’ll see what I have in my stash for you
My affixes are: accelerating, anger management, herculean spectacle, concussive strikes.
Shroud, starless, doom, and grandfather
Ugly, banished, yens (for other shout not on my bar)
Thanks!
Barbarian with berserker skills: Do I need to give any point for berserking other than ultimate and key passive.
Barbarian with bleed: flayer/ rupture/ etc
I was looking through some barb guides so I can get an 'idea' as to what I was getting into. Unfortunately, some of them being in the level 100 timeframe does not help with some items. (I was disappointed that Sepa stick for Spiritborn didn't have 90% block anymore). What I am coming from (as a point of reference) is an eternal realm spiritborn that was trying out the game on ps5. Holding X button with the occasional 'The Hunter' ultimate. This was since it was also a dash attack and its letting me do torment 1 at my leasure with the thrown together setup I have (nowhere near meta build). Occasional ravager buffing with the other 3 slots being the passive/active buffs. Mainly for their passive benefits.
frenzy, lunging strike, whirlwind, rally cry/iron skin, wrath of the berserker, either barbed carapace or unconstrained (more likely). Frenzy mainly for main attack and resource gen. Lunging for 'chasing' like treasure goblins. Rally or Iron skin for the unstoppable button. Wrath of berserker to enhance the basic attacks. Whirlwind for 'crowd clearing' kinda.
I am not looking to rush to torment 4 or that kind of endgame. Just try out seasonal stuff and (according to guides) farm helltide and whispers for manuals as quick as possible. This being before switching to torment 1 and probably staying there while doing other things.
Aspects that would best up with the above? I'm leaning either toward forever-berserk frenzy or doing whirlwinding all over the place. Uniques to look out for?
berserk ripping ? ancestral echoes? aspect of the dire whirlwind ?
death wish aspect? aspect of the iron warrior ? aspect of anemia ? relentless berserker's aspect? slaking aspect if can attach bleeding to whirlwind? aspect of anger management + burning rage + steadfast berserker + berserk fury ( forever berserking combo ) ? limitless rage for before using whirlwind? grasping whirlwind ?
more generalized legendary aspects?
expectant ? edgemaster's ? needleflare? rapid aspect ? disobediance? aspect of might? accurseed touch (would be main method of making enemies vulnerable ) + moonrise ? undying aspect (to heal with every strike)? aspect of adaptability (forever berserking + frenzy) ? dark dance for whirlwind ?
Like title- I’ve spent tens of millions trying to get an enchant role on pit fighter and can’t get it. I did get brute force to land. Should I keep that or is pit fighter better?
Hello Barb-nation, Does anyone have an extra amulet with brute force? I’m asking cause I can’t find one and it’s almost the end of the season and I want to see how much farther I can push in the pit.
Pushing into pit 102 with my mighty throw barb following a guide.
But, was wondering if there is a viable build that is similar but uses the force of nature board and takes advantage of staying in one spot?
Or does it end up being too diluted and the damage isn't as consistent?
***Joke Build***
This is a build to help your 3 Spiritborns complete 150 pits faster than ever! With max movement, charge with 2 stacks, and teleport you'll be flying across the map to group mobs up with Steel Grasp and Vortex. You'll also have all the shouts to buff your SB pals and with over 73% dmg reduction, 85% armor and resists you'll be safe out on your own! Boasting an astounding 24k health with Melted heart of the Selig transforming that unused rage as a second health pool unkillable! and 3.5K Overpower % you'll be using that massive health pool to good use!

PS: I started late in the season (about a week now) but after doing group pits, infernal hordes, undercity, etc... at currently power level I really do feel like there is a place for a build like this as by comparative dps of spiritborn I think it benefits the group more. MT is still the most complete barb build I have ever played from blizzard (counting D2, D3, and upheaval, I haven't tried the other builds)
PSS: I posted this in diablo 4 reddit as well but if people started getting sweatier on optimization I wouldn't be surprised if something like this became meta. Interested to hear what ya'll think of this. I'm assuming some of you played D3 zdps barb.
Was following the maxroll build, but just got a gf and the pit pusher variant says to use that, but the paragon calls for polearm glyph.
Anyone got a good Mt build that uses gf?
Can’t get one to drop. Anyone got an extra would appreciate it.
Does anyone have an endgame rend barb that uses the following skills: Rend, rallying cry, challenging shout, rupture, steel grasp, and COA? If so what's your fury generation process to NOT have to use flay? Any insight with explanation would be GREATLY appreciated!
Just got a new Unique Weapon that has a +24 maximum resource... I would think that means my Fury can be +24 available to spend for attacks. However what I'm seeing is that it is now making my basic skill "Dual Wielding" and all other basic skills COST 24 fury while it only generates 7 fury per attack, basically rendering it unusable. Am I just misunderstanding what the +24 maximum resource attribute is? Or is this an actual bug and it shouldn't be doing this?
