I haven't seen anyone except me playing WD for a very long time, what's wrong with this class? It has new (adres in s29), re-worked Arachyr Chicken, but i see that WD have the same builds for last years, maybe this is the problem?

I know it's in sescheron, by the arrest caves, or it's supposed to be, I'm on adventure mode act III(3), no sescheron caves, no zoltune kulle either, what am I doing wrong? Is it a dlc? Do I have to play online? Does Efficacious Toxin do anything for the baby exploding chickens? Trying to figure out what the spawning exploding chicks are and best way to just stay a chicken.

I think every build using the ring of emptiness uses pestilence instead of haunt. Why? Haunt can cause 20% additional damage and is so cheap to cast you really can do it continuously without affecting mana. Just curious about the rationale and if im missing something.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here so, sorry it's a question.

I only started playing D3 a few months ago so in that sense, I'm a noob, yes.

However, I'd like your opinions on this.

I have this Witch Doctor with a set I put together using an Icy-veins guide. It's supposed to be the "top-tier" build but I have a few problems with it and maybe I'm doing something wrong. I'd really appreciate your opinions.

Let me clarify a few things:

1. The site doesn't show it but I have the Ring of Royal Grandeur on the 3rd slot in Kanai's Cube.
2. Also I have "Frostburn" on the 2nd slot; it shows those pants because I was testing Pox Faulds for a while.
3. I'm on Paragon 1130. (at the moment of posting this)
4. All items except the helmet and bracers are Ancient. Boots are Primal.
5. I have other sets where I hit up to 15T damage.
6. Other than the indicators on the screen when hitting an enemy I ignore if there's another way to know how much damage you're making. But when I do see damage on enemies, it goes anywhere from 500K up to 5B. RARELY I'll see numbers above that. I know I should be WAY above that.
7. However, it's with this set is the one where I can do Greater Rifts the easiest (I've done up up to L.120 alone). This doesn't add up to me; if I'm not really hitting that hard, Rifts should be much harder, right?
8. With a lot of Champions or bosses, I'll barely lower their health 30-40% and all of a sudden they explode and die. I understand this could be due to "The Barber" on the Kanai's Cube slot, but still feels odd.

So basically I have 3 questions:

1. Am I doing something obviously wrong I'm not seeing where I could be hitting much harder?
2. My friends using their Crusader and Monk on a lower Paragon than me are hitting up to 60T or so. Why do their damage shows up in the Trillions but mine doesn't and still it appears I'm making around the same damage as them?
3. Would it be a good idea to swap the Frostburn with "Depth Diggers" pants?

I like to mess around with locust builds, and I have one that I like right now, but I'm struggling to find a third legendary gems I want to use. I want to up m y damage, so my question is: Can the locust swarm that is casted by the Wormwood staff proc gems? Like Pain Enhancer, or Mirinae Teardrop? I tried both but it's hard to tell if they are activating or not..

I installed the game in 2015. Fiddled around but never got into it. A few weeks ago I re-installed and got pulled in. Playing a whitch doctor is really fun. I was lucky and received two pieces of the Spirit of Arachyr set so now I run around with a huge spider on my side. I saw some old threads discussing the drop rate of supporting pieces like the Mask of Jeram and Brood of Araneae. Does any of you guys have some recent experience with the drop rate of these items?

Hey all, need some help as I think I should be able to push higher with the gear that I have. Am I not casting spirit barrage correctly? Witch Doctor got nothing this patch so far. (Still live as of this writing)

Just a little disappointed as this seems as the final patch before Diablo 4 drops and as we all know there will be no more Witch Doctor.

I’ve been looking over these two sets for a while and both are very strong. Due to diminishing returns and ultimately lack of scaling on cooldown reduction at some point guardians jeopardy has to out scale captain crimson.

If my math is right you’d need something like 30k int from items

This is the same with the quick GR runs, 3 quick runs before clean up - identifying all the legendaries etc... In between you just repair and salvage rare and blue. Well others don't like that, they want to identify and clean up every round.

I've noticed when Bogadile attacks using the new Locust Swarm sanctified power, a red countdown icon appear. Do you know what it means?

I think it's maybe a cooldown for the massive damage the Croc applies to elites and trash, but I couldn't verify myself for sure.

I mean, with enough paragon I am sure people can make it work. But when people are barley scratching the 90's and 100's. It is just a terrible option for something to actually play in Gr's. I get told to use another set. Yet, Demon Hunter can use all of their sets and push higher than a 118 GR, which is the current highest on the leader boards. Crusader can use all of their sets also to push higher. So why would the witch doctor be the one that has to opt out of a set option to push GR's with? It just doesn't make sense. I made a YouTube video doing a T16 rift with the Jade Harvest set on. This is how it went.

My life regeneration isn't working on my witch doctor and I can't figure out why, I checked my stats and I do have life per second and life per hit etc, I couldn't find any armor pieces or skills sets that I may have equipped that would prevent my life regeneration. Just changed the difficulty to torment 3, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Thanks for the help in advance!
