I’ve been looking for such a long time trying to find the big east rules for pep bands— does anyone know where to find them?
Earlier this week, St. John's introduced Ed Kull as the University's 8th Athletic Director in school history!

Top 10 Big East Players Since Realignment
Thoughts on this list? An interesting thought experiment. Personally, my first thought is that Trevon Bluiett has to be on here somewhere. After that I'd probably move Brunson up and add atleast one UConn representative. What would you change?
Created a subreddit for all the Xavier fans/haters. Hopefully it gains some traction. Should be a fun season!
I believe if this conference still had Football then UConn wouldn't tease leaving every summer.
But looking back at the Football portion it was a must watch conference in the 90s and early 2000s
And this conference had a national champion in Football: Miami in 2001 during their final few years in the Big East.
Plains-based basketball super conference.
State historically in the conference footprint but not anymore.
Large sports-loving fanbase in a new and large market.
Basically guaranteed rivalry with Iowa State due to McDermott (Council Bluffs would probably burn down) and possibly more schools.
Boosts attendance requests for basketball conference tournament games in Kansas City by A LOT.
The Kansas City Royals’ AAA affiliate is in Omaha and the two cities once shared the Kings as well.
I see why we’re wanted (Kansas-to-B1G insurance due to our similar profiles in everything but, you know, geography) while conferences don’t seem to care about geography anymore, but doesn’t having a centralized team help? I’d like Jays fans to chime in as well.
Note: Speaking of centralized teams, if we leave, the Big East would have 5 Eastern and 5 Midwestern teams. Pittsburgh is the westernmost Eastern city, so would Duquesne (or Pitt in a dream scenario) fit for balance?
Since Football has the most payouts for conferences in College Athletics the Big East teams sadly don't make much being in a non Football conference. If regional conferences were still a thing in Football the Big East will still have Football and UConn wouldn't want to leave for a 2nd time.
Are you kidding me UConn?? You come back to the Big East a conference you helped build and now you're jumping ship for the second time??

This new Media deal sucks. Yall need memphis to help build things up.
I feel like with the new shift in MEGA conferences the NCAA is starting to treat this conference like a mid-major. I think the 3 bids for the NCAA Tournament this past March was very unheard of for this conference. Even in this revised Big East which began in 2013-14 the average was 5 to 6 at most. Even though this conference has 4 out the last 10 national titles (Villanova 2016, 18 and UConn 2023, 24) the NCAA will always favor the conferences that are big in Football and will even more with all this conference realignment in the Big 4 conferences
