everyone has been saying that csc300 is a big jump from csc242 in terms of difficulty. any tips?
I would like to submit some info about a disrespectful professor and was wondering if they see who wrote what?
Also, does the higher up (administration) see these evaluations, or does only the teacher see them?
MOST Importantly, are they anonymous? Will anyone (prof, admin) see that it was me who submitted it? I don't mind admin seeing it was me but not the prof.
I've always done them before the deadline, but I'm really curious because it's never specified what happens if you don't do them.
My first year at Depaul, and I was wondering if there were any specific weed out classes that I should be prepared for.
If something I ordered gets delivered over break will they hold it there until after break?
I was palnning to live on campus for my first year at depaul, but things have changed, I have been going home after thrusday since my parents need help every week for their business, additionally the food isn't the best, I have not been using my meal swipes much. I would save about 9k if I cancelled out the housing policy. What is your guys opinion on this situation?
Currently a Junior looking to move to chi after undergrad, considering depaul for their I/O grad program.
Is anyone in/has completed the degree and can give their thoughts on the program?
Also, how is depaul with aid? I am 24 this year and received enough aid from fafsa to pay for my transfer from associate’s to bachelor’s (I go to a cheap state uni in IL).
Just trying to get an idea, thanks!
Accepted for BSB in Finance conc. Investment risk management, so I have a few questions.
How's financial aid at the school?
Are dorms separated by upper and lower classmen? I am a 23-year-old gonna be 24 when I enroll and would like to have my own room.
I went to UC Denver for a bit, how is the college culture there? We didn't have school PRIDE but people were happy to be at the school, hung out with each other, and went to the school events. Is it the same here?
Basketball games, are they free for students and where are they hosted?
How is a crime in the area of both campuses? I'm guessing Loop isn't too bad and LP is in the suburbs so same there but you never know. I have family from Gary and I grew up in Michigan but have lived in NOVA for 11 years so it'll be newish to me.
Where's the closest Portillo's to both campuses? Any tips for a new business/finance student? (I come from a healthcare and Pre-Dental background.)
Thanks!
Please be kind but honest: How are people feeling this week with everything happening and the quarter ending too?
Hi! I wanted to ask about the structure of the libraries at DePaul. I have only been to the ones on each campus once and stayed on the main floors.
I wanted to ask if they had private areas for recording videos or being in zoom meeting if you don’t want to disturb others.
I know the library on the Lincoln park campus has one of those solo booths but I find it a bit awkward to be in lol.
But thank you for your help in advance!
I got accepted to Depaul as a transfer for the business school. I'm choosing to stay on campus and wanted to know the best housing option? I'd like to have at least one roommate and do not want communal restrooms/showers at all. I'd prefer an apartment style complex if Depaul offers any. Any suggestions?
Has anyone applied to this program and heard anything back yet? OR has anyone gone through this process before for this program and can offer some insight?
Hey! Does anyone know the Richardson Library guest WiFi password? I’m a writer who works close by, and wants to write my overthrow the government plays there. Thanks so much! Will Venmo for the correct password ✨
I am interested in becoming a grader and was hoping someone knew some information as I have a couple questions. Does the school hire graders every quarter? What is the process to becoming a grader, I know there’s an application but is that all? Or do they also do a typical job interview after reviewing your resume. Additionally, is becoming a grader competitive at DePaul? Or is there a good chance you’ll become a grader if you have an A on the class you want to be a grader for. Can undergraduate students also be graders? Is there a standard rate pay no matter the course you are a grader for? Is the pay hourly or a sort of scholarship or stipend situation? Is the grader position remote, in person, or hybrid? Lastly, to those who have been/are graders, how has it been to balance being a grader and making sure you’re up to date with your courses? (I can imagine it may vary by the type of class you’re a grader for as the workload may vary but am just wondering). I would greatly appreciate any insights an info! :)
Hi! It will only take 2 minutes! Please, college students, fill out this survey for my high school brother’s research project. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScGWS6VSmctT073J7_bjRKxTaMGcsA2XUQs1PZ48tMpYLt7sA/viewform
I was hoping on applying to the MS in Applied Math. After joining a session with the counselor, she said there is no TA or GA option in the faculty but there are stipends that I can apply on a quarterly basis. Is it better to just opt for other programs that offer TA positions in that case?

Why work with me?
Before booking a lesson, let’s chat about your needs, my teaching style, and what you can expect, to see if we’d be a good fit together.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to working with you!

I noticed people with wrist bands and some event happening at wintrust arena. What's going on with that? It happened like today, November 4th.
I have their reddit ID because I took a picture but didn’t DM them because I was worried it might be a scam.
Did anyone else see it?
How do you use meal exchanges? What exactly are they?
Hey, I was just wondering what languages are offered at DePaul since I will be needing to take a full year of some sort of language to fulfill my lang requirement. I cant seem to find much info on it in course offerings though. (I am aware of test-outs but completely forgot most of what I know)
Hi guys,
I’m a transfer student for Film and Television, and I’m wondering whether or not I should apply for Housing at University Center. Obviously, the college of computing and digital media is in the loop, so I will be going down there for almost all my classes, and I do really like to be downtown. Plus there also looks to be a wide variety of housing options. But I also like the Lincoln Park Campus and I don’t want to feel isolated being at the Loop Campus. At the same though, I know DePaul is mainly a commuter school. So, I’m pretty much just wondering if there are past or current residents of University Center that have an opinion or whether or not I should try to get housing there or in Lincoln Park.
Hi do you guys know the total tuition fee for grad school under MS audit and advisory?
I just got accepted on the program yet I don’t know yet the total tuition so I can’t decide if I should enroll or not. Thank you so much!
I’m planning on applying either tonight or tomorrow, and I’m just wondering how long it’ll take to get accepted. I’ve seen on here DePaul is a pretty quick process of acceptance, though with the election coming up I’m wondering if it’ll take longer. Thanks!
I see the deadline is November 3rd, is that 12:00AM November 3rd like tonight or by 11:59 PM tmr night. Thanks for the help!
sophmore, bs in cs, class of 2027
