Hi, I'm considering transferring from my current school to either UWM, UW, or Marquette for the Fall 2025 semester (my junior year). I love the MU campus, but my math credits won't transfer and I think I'd be behind in my major credits because I've just been doing GenEds. Is it worth it to go even if it means I'd have to graduate in 2028 instead of 2027? Or is UWM or UW a better idea to focus on?

Hello,
I am taking a class at Marquette as a non degree student. I saved a lot of money to take the class, but I realized that I miscalculated and I am about $30 short in my bank account AFTER I put my bank account details in the ECheck system a few moments ago. I get paid tomorrow, so I was wondering how long would it take for the eCheck system to process my payment. My bill due date is 09/18.
My finances are weird because I put all my paycheck in savings or pay off my credit card bill, so checking account has almost nothing until payday.
I do not know if I am stressing too much, or should I message my family for $30
Anyone know of anything to do/where to go within walking distance or by the eagle express for when I'm bored and don't feel like hanging with friends

I am a Senior in high school this year and plan on applying to a bunch of different colleges within a month or so. I wanted to get an idea of the gluten-free situation on and off campus if anybody has any experience with that or knows anything about it. All responses are welcomed! :)
I have hour long breaks between my classes and having to walk 10-15mins back and forth for the hour every time is annoying. I went to Raynor yesterday but I'm looking for some place more cozy and comfortable to chill.
I'm a grad student here at Marquette. I play a bit of squash and was looking for someone to play with like once or twice a week. I would be perfectly okay with racquetball as well. If there's anyone interested you can shoot me a dm.

I'm a HS senior interested in Biological Sciences (genetics, to be specific, and will most likely do a PhD in the end). I use Niche for some of my research in comparing/choosing colleges to consider and it shows me that this is the largest program at MU; is this accurate? I can't find any posts on here about how people like this program? Would love any and all input!
Also, what are the on-campus bio research opportunities for undergrads? Is it super competitive to get into a research lab as an undergrad?

Hi,
I was planning to book dinner reservations for my family following the white coat ceremony and the reception. The invite simply states that the ceremony begins at 6pm with reception to follow—no other information.
Question: For anyone who has been, what time does the entire event (including reception) end? Do they serve dinner there?
Thanks!
If you’re in honors do you have to take all honors core classes? I’m looking at taking core 1929 but wondering if it needs to be core 1929 H
Incoming freshman here! Y’all probably get posts like this in this sub all the time but how safe is the campus? Specifically how safe is the area around Mashuda hall / walking from the campus to Mashuda? I’m no stranger to unsafe cities (been in south side Chicago at night numerous times) and I’m decently vigilant but I’m still curious.

Incoming freshman here, I wasn't able to get a hold of Marquette basketball season tickets. Am I still able to get regular tickets for each game and how much would those typically be? Also am I able to sneak into the student section without having the tickets for it?
I’m an upcoming graduate student looking for bodybuilding gym recommendations near campus. I have heard the university rec plex is currently being renovated. I am mostly into bodybuilding style training (cables and dumbbells) but lack of a rack for free squat, deadlift and a flat bench are dealbreakers for me.
