I will be returning to college in the Spring using my GI Bill. As the title says, I'm a whole grown up (43 y/o with a family). I live halfway between MKE and Madison, so the commute is pretty equal either way. I'm just trying to get a sense of what an old can expect going to either school for an accelerated History BA/MA. I might have follow up questions, but right now I don't know what I don't know.
Currently I'm relying on Sendiks, however it's really expensive and the selection isn't great.
senior applying to marquette, is it going to hurt me if i dont submit a resume on common app, theres an option on there that says "attach" and you put your resume on there.
Any good non-Marquette-owned apartment recommendations for juniors?

I just applied about a day or two ago and was wondering how long the admissions process was? I know the answers can vary but would like to get a general consensus on how long I should wait. This is definitely a top 5 school so I’m a little anxious haha.
Hey all,
With the 2024 presidential election approaching, I wanted to share a project that’s aimed at raising awareness and encouraging more people to get out and vote. It’s called Presidential Pick'em, and it allows you to predict the outcome of the election by filling out your own electoral map.
It’s a fun way to get people thinking about the election while also contributing to some crowdsourced data. The goal is to compare predictions to actual results and hopefully spark more engagement in the election process, particularly since Wisconsin is a critical swing state this election.
Each prediction will be scored based on how accurate it was and the results will be displayed on a global leaderboard. You can also create and join pools to challenge friends, roommates, or other groups.
I've created a pool specifically for students and alumni from Marquette to join and compete against each other.
Think you can predict the election perfectly? Make your prediction, and don’t forget to get out and vote — your voice matters!
Hey all! Lived in MI my whole life but I have never really gone north very much at all. I was once in flight school but was unable to obtain my medical due to head injury I had just a few days before my appointment :( However my love for aviation continues! If you know of anyone with a plane looking to rack up some hours with me paying for all wet costs then let me know! Looking to catch a ride the week of the 20th.
I plan on becoming an attorney with a focus on transactional/corporate law, and I will be majoring in either Finance or Accounting, but I am wondering which one would make sense for me at Marquette? I have done lots on research/thinking but I think outside opinions could really help!! 🙏🙏
I'm at Freshmen at Marquette and I was wondering how meal swipes work for the standard dining plan. I've been told that we have 3 and potentially 4 per day that regenerate at a specific time.
1st swipe: Open - 11am
2nd swipe: 11am - 4
3rd swipe: 4 - (7 or 8)
4th?: (7 or 8) - Close
Are there any bars underage students can reliably get into with fakes?

Hi, I'm considering transferring from my current school to either UWM, UW, or Marquette for the Fall 2025 semester (my junior year). I love the MU campus, but my math credits won't transfer and I think I'd be behind in my major credits because I've just been doing GenEds. Is it worth it to go even if it means I'd have to graduate in 2028 instead of 2027? Or is UWM or UW a better idea to focus on?
