Season 3 finale

During the s3 finale, does it bother anyone else that H.G. Puts the force field around Pete, Myka, and Artie instead of just putting it around the bomb itself?

I'm creating this book in Wattpad

Also most of the artifacts would be not be canon, somd would be original but some are just made including that of the fanon wiki: Warehouse 13 Artifact Database, in which I'll be adding some specific and certain characters.

Thank you for reading.

Alibi Bar episode

Hey folks, need some help from the WH13 crew. If anyone is bingeing the series now, I'm trying to find the episode where (if I recall correctly) Myka and Pete are chasing someone that has an artifact through the San Diego city streets. They chase him into the Alibi Bar and then out the back. The reason I ask is that I live right down. The street from it. And while they do use the front facade to enter, the interior shown in the show is a completely different bar or sound stage. I'm hoping to isolate some images from the episode so we can hang screenshots in the bar and maybe entice some Con signatures from the dynamic duo. Thanks in advance.

Walter Sykes & metronome: Why didn't Walter die when Marcus was pushed over balcony?

In the middle of season 3, Pete pushes Marcus over a balcony, mortally wounding him. We find out later that Marcus did not die because he was already dead, and had been brought back using the metronome.

Later, Steve is very concerned that Claudia will die if he is ever mortally wounded in the field. However, that would imply that Walter Sykes should have died when Marcus was mortally wounded, but he didn't.

The only explanation I can find for this, is that Walter somehow manipulated a person after person to tether themselves to Marcus through the metronome. Anytime Marcus was mortally wounded, whoever was holding the metronome would die, and Walter would have to tether a new person to Marcus.

However, I thought it was explicitly stated that Walter brought Marcus back himself. Maybe I'm wrong, and I'd like if my fellow viewers could weigh in.

i wonder what Warehouse 13 and Grimm cross-over would look like

so I have an idea of what it could look like. i would have it be 2 separate universes that are linked by a set of books one is an original copy of the brother's Grimm books and the other would be a Warehouse 9 manual both books would be in each other's universe. the Grimm book would be in the warehouse library and the warehouse book would be in a museum. the story would be a vesion robber who tries to steal the book but is transported to warehouse 13. the Grimm cast will investigate finding the book but ignore it at first while at the warehouse the robber freaks out for a bit until he touches the Grimm book sending him back. the robber now knowing of the power of the book uses trys to us them to rob a bank or something but when he goes back to the warehouse he is captured and they end up going into the Grimm universe right when the Grimm cast walks by and things go wrong.

TLDR

2 books link the universes and a robber jumps between worlds to rob places

Eddie McClintock really puts genuine effort into his Cameos!

My boss surprised me for my birthday with a cameo from Eddie McClintock and I got to say it was better than I even thought it was going to be. I've been waiting a long time for my friends to get it for me but my boss beat them to the punch LOL. He genuinely put in a lot of effort and was funny and heartfelt at the same time. I would highly recommend requesting one from your friends or family if you're a fan. He only charges 50 bucks and my boss said the amount of Joy I got from it was well worth it! If this post is a little to off topic I apologize. Just had to share because it was truly one of the best gifts I have gotten in quite a while.

Questions about Warehouse lore

I've recently started re-watching Warehouse 13. I watched it years ago when it was in it's first run. If I knew the answers to these questions before I have forgotten.

  1. Was Mrs. Frederick immortal? What was her purpose? Was she different from the regents?
  2. What was the purpose of the regents? Some kind of oversight committee?
  3. How did Artie become Caretaker of the Warehouse?

If you had to come up with or create your own Warehouse 13-type of hidden place than what would it be?

Here's mine and boy, it's quite a fucking doozy to say the least:

See, I have this whole idea for a while on creating a dark and gritty adult-animated series called "The Wildwood Chronicles" that's a full-blown crossover between hundreds of media, retroactively establishing them all in the same universe as each other. Think of it like Avengers: Infinity War meets Grand Theft Auto V meets Inglourious Basterds.

However, here's where the answer to my question on my end as an example comes into play....

One of the main characters is a former family man-turned-wanted fugitive hacker (both voiced by and modeled after Ebon Moss-Bachrach in an homage to his role as Micro) whose hideout is an entire underground storage base that he helped to create that is FILLED to the BRIM with god knows how many photos of and even reports on HUNDREDS of characters from all this media and god knows how many objects and items from even MORE media that are quite surprising when you see them and obviously they're the SAME objects and items from said media they're all from.

Some just to name a few are a large, wood-carved but old brown wardrobe that previously belonged to an English professor Digory Kirke, a series of paintings drawn by deceased comic book artist Isaac Mendez that foretold the future, two Egyptian books with one black and the other gold, a VHS tape that only reads "Copy" and a hunk of fucking Australium.

Retroactive Gay Hilarity

A year or two ago I realized, with great gay amusement, the hilarity of a moment between Pete and Steve in S4E15 ("Instinct"). For full context:

S5E6 \"Endless\". Pete reveals to Myka that her punching him turns him on.

S4E15 (\"Instinct\")

  • Pete: "Hey Steve, you know how to make scones, right?"
  • Steve: "I don't even like scones."
  • Pete: "I miss old stereotypes."
  • Steve: -punches Pete-
  • Pete: -cringes-
  • Myka: "Another stereotype, shattered."
  • Steve: -smiling, clicks his mouth at Pete-

On top of...

S4E16 (\"Runaway\")

https://www.logotv.com/news/2hb22o/warehouse-13-jack-kenny

"Again" referring to...

S3E3 (\"Love Sick\"). Everyone say thank you to episode writer Andrew Kreisberg and Eddie McClintock

How are the DVD extras?

Wikipedia tells me there were commentaries on earlier season DVDs, and "podcasts" on season 5. Are they worth trying to get hold of? And if so, does anyone know if they have been made available digitally (I'd have to buy a DVD player even if I bought the DVDs!)

I don’t know about anyone else here, but I do wish there were a few more episodes of this show.

Somewhere between 1,200 and 73,000 more would be cool.

Commercial break tags (random, potential spoilers for S3 and S5)

Warehouse 13 is one of my favorite shows and I just finished a rewatch. I just wanted to randomly express my love for the little ad break clips they use on the show, especially in the later seasons. I have never seen anyone mention them. I don't know why but I always loved how many cool things they incorporated. Like the gate that opens and closes, the goo container closing, or the classic painting and storage box. Or when they adapt to the setting, like the futuristic ones in S5, the destroyed projector in S3 or the Christmas themed Farnsworth.

Anyway, I know this is random, but I have never seen anyone talk about those cute little clips and wanted to do them a little justice. Anyone have any thoughts?

A personal viewing order

I got the compilation Complete Series DVD set of this very impressive looking gem called Warehouse 13 a few days ago and just watched the pilot, definitely very impressed! Being the continuity nerd I am with following a story in a proper order, without doing too much spoilery research I did look some chronological facets up to see when I should watch everything within the show including the two Christmas specials, the two Webisodes stories, and the Eureka crossover episode.

Does this look good to everyone?

Season 1

Season 2: 2x01 "Time Will Tell" through 2x05 "13.1"

Eureka Crossover: "Crossing Over"

Season 2: 2x06 "Around the Bend" through 2x08 "Merge with Caution"

Season 2 Christmas Special: "Secret Santa"

Season 2: 2x09 "Vendetta" through 2x12 "Reset"

Season 3: 3x01 "The New Guy" through 3x02 "Trials"

First Webisodes: "Of Monsters and Men"

Season 3: 3x03 "Love Sick" through 3x10 "Insatiable"

Season 3 Christmas Special: "The Greatest Gift"

Second Webisodes: "Grand Designs"

Season 3: 3x11 "Emily Lake" through 3x12 "Stand"

Seasons 4-5

Do the DVD or Blurays or Warehouse 13 have original broadcast music?

I was rewatching season one the other day and noticed some of the music is different music vs the songs that were in the scenes originally aired. Was wondering anyone knew if any of the home releases on dvd or bluray would have the original music or not.

Fanwriting - A New Warehouse 13 show

Claudia has taken over finally for Ms. Frederic as the caretaker for the Warehouse. Pete and Myka continued for a little while as agents following the final episode of the show, as well as a couple. However, this didn't last all that long as eventually Myka retires. As for Pete... Artie retires and Pete takes over for him. See, Pete, in his relationship with Myka, began to mature a bit, becoming more responsible. Artie, btw, went and joined an also retired Dr. Vanessa Calder and the two lived pretty much happy ever after. Under Pete, the warehouse continued on. Steve Jinks became the senior agent after Pete and they would go on to recruit other agents.

This is where I would start a new Warehouse 13 show. Myka would be there, but more of a background character that still ends up (wither she wants to or not) helping out on occasion. Maybe even Artie, but their roles would be small in the grand scheme. As to specific artifacts and such, there's a bunch of stuff they could chase.

Artie’s Attic Fancast/Podcast Thoughts?

Has anyone heard this podcast? It’s called Artie’s Attic: A Warehouse 13 Fancast. I have a bunch of movie and TV podcasts that I late. To while o work and I recently finished the Agent Carter, Luke Cage and The Defenders recap podcasts and decided to switch gears. Warehouse 13 is a series that I will always love for numerous reasons.

That said, there are 3 people who do it. The gentleman who does a good deal of research on the writers and the cast and what seems like some dive into the artifacts. One for wj two women whose name is Shannon is a real hard pill to swallow. Her hubris knows no bounds and I find her to be greatly aggravating to whee I fast forward multiple times when she talks. The other two at least appear to watch the episodes for the recap and she just needs a flicker to remember. It’s not working out.

There are two other podcasts on Warehouse 13 but they were working on their Ph.Ds and I’m sure life got in the way. The other one has two women and they seem great, but at least maybe two seasons of recaps are missing and one half of the duo is a bit out of it leaving me back to having to hate listen to Artie’s Attic.

Is anyone else listening to this podcast? I’d like to hear your thoughts after you’ve at least heard them recap the first full season. It’s a decent endeavor especially since they started this during the 2023 writers and actors strike which is a good reminder of what writers and actors bring to viewers and lovers alike. Please let me know.

This morning, I legitimately smelled fudge when there was no fudge! I was in my 8 am class at university, and all of a sudden, for about 20 minutes, the room smelled like fudge, but there was no fudge.

Mark Sheppard (Benedict Valda) recovering from multiple heart attacks; lucky to be alive

From his personal Instagram:

You’re not going to believe this! Was on my way to an appointment yesterday when I collapsed in my kitchen. Six massive heart attacks later, and being brought back from dead 4 times I apparently had a 100% blockage in my LAD. The Widowmaker. If not for my wife, the @losangelesfiredepartment at mullholland and the incredible staff @providencecalifornia St Joseph’s - I wouldn’t be writing this. My chances of survival were virtually nil. I feel great. Humbled once more. Home tomorrow!

Get well soon Mark!

Spoilers for the very last episode?

Anyone have a clip of the entire show girls tap dance scene from the last episode on Youtube? No, not that one that pops up when you search for it, it cuts off before Claudia's big dance number. I'm looking for a Youtube clip with the entire darn thing.

Thank you.

Edit: It's not the one labeled SyFy sneak peek but thank you.

What's your favorite non-title artifact?

So by non-title, I mean an artifact that is not the focus of the episode (so not the Spine, EAP's pen,or the sword). What is your favorite artifact that was used or did not feature the largest role in an episode but was still pretty neat

Some examples would be:

-Sylvia Plaths Typewriter

-Walt Disney's paintbrush

  • Alfred Hitchcock's Metal Pinwheel

-Tower of Babel Stones

-Baylor Dodgeball

-Pavlovs Bell

-Catherine O'Learies cowbell

-Charles II's Croquet Ball

I think MY favorite would have to be the Corsican vest from "Reset" . The concept of damage being linked by an article of clothing is really fascinating to me and makes me wonder the implications.

Just finished! Quick rant

So I watched the first three seasons like ten years ago with my dad, but I think Netflix dropped it before it was finished. Picked up the box set a couple weeks ago and CRANKED through it. What a great show, super fun.. but the ending was slightly disappointing. Season five was apparently supposed to “tie up loose ends” but I feel like it only loosened even more ends.

The whole Paracelsus arc was really weird. The caretaker situation did not make any sense at all. “The past takes precedent, so Mrs. Fredrick is out. Permanently. But now Claudia is in somehow? Oh wait no she’s not. Maybe? Okay Paracelsus is out, Mrs. Fredrick is back for some reason” ???

The very last episode, with the time capsule… very wholesome. Pretty solid exit. However… The whole point is that Warehouse 13 is done. But then the last scene shows Claudia as the caretaker of.. Warehouse.. 14? Right? Um no… still 13?! Why?!?!

Okay rant over. I absolutely love this show, and I’m STOKED to add it to my dvd collection.

Pete is dumb… sometimes?

I just rewatched the first three seasons, about to wrap up the fourth. I don’t remember Pete being so incompetent. Obviously he’s the comic relief, makes immature jokes and stuff, but there are certain serious scenes where he just straight up acts/reacts like a child. I feel like, at some point, they kinda forgot that he’s supposed to be a (somewhat) respected and accomplished government agent.
