I’m near the end of season 3 so maybe it just hasn’t been brought up yet but I had a thought. We know the original crack was made by Walter but the damage to the other side is far worse than in ours. Did Walternate accelerate the decay of his own world by constantly sending agents and others over to our side?
I watched this show as a young adult, and rewatch it every few years. It hits different when you have kids of your own. When Peter said it’s okay, I’m not afraid to die, it got me in the heart. Couldn’t imagine losing my son, it’s a parent’s worst nightmare. Every episode brings new meaning to Walter’s actions.
Did it disappear from the Max Brasil catalogue? It's no longer appearing here! 😞😞😞

I found this on an earlier reddit post - like 11 years earlier - the short was shot at his own house! It stars his own wife as his love interest! OMG!!!!
"This short film was released in 2013, after the finale of Fringe. While their connection can't be ignored, I find Friend very interesting in its own right. The script is almost completely wordless, so John is forced to convey emotion purely through expressions. As expected, his acting is extremely good, and he does a great job selling viewers on a character we know nothing about in a very short amount of time.
While it is only eight minutes long, it does a fantastic job of making more with less. There are peaks and valleys of emotion, mystery and a big reveal all in eight minutes, but it doesn't feel rushed at all.
In a way, it was the final send-off for Fringe as the crew is comprised entirely of former Fringe cast members and their families, who John Noble refers to as his "Fringe family." Below are the credits, where I marked the people I was able to identify specifically.
Behind the scenes

Additional sound mixing: Chuck Hogan

Paper flower designer: Jasika Nicole (Astrid Farnsworth)
Paper flower creation: Jasika Nicole and Claire Savage (Jasika's wife)
Appearances
John Noble as the lead character
Penny Noble (John's wife) as the balloon saleswoman
In various crowds it is possible to spot Claire Savage, Garnett Humenick, Anna Gruzelier (presumably related to Lou Gruzelier), Chance Dreyer (presumably related to Calla Dreyer) and Sue Geddes (presumably related to David Geddes). Jennifer Welch is also credited, although I'm not sure who she is.
Forgot which date but I checked every single one. Thought it was cool being a big fan of the serious. On my 10th or 11th time through. Never gets old!
Hi people! So in a couple of weeks John Noble will be a guest at a local Comicon in my home town. I wanted to give him something during the autograph session and I was thinking of a small cow plush/toy (lol) but idk. Any recommendations or ideas for a cute little gift? And any idea of what would be nice to make him sign? Thanks a lot!
What follows is such a nice surprise
How much will current or future generation viewers understand?
Omg. The way Walter had me crying this morning. This is my first rewatch and somehow I forgot that line. It hit me like a ton of bricks.
I’m doing a rewatch, but I want to skip to when these two really started having tension. Anyone know when a good starting point is?
I've been told to watch this show for years, and just recently my wife and I started it. We're pretty early in the show, just starting Episode 7, and Peter really feels like an unlikeable character. Every time someone says anything, he's there with a quip. Every episode someone says we need your father to do this impossible thing. He says that there's no way his father could do this impossible thing. His father does the impossible thing. Rinse and repeat, he shows no sign of growth and accepting the possibility of the impossible.
Has anyone else found him to be insufferable?
their faces 😆😆
I’m in the middle of s1. Though the show is interesting, theres not like a big overarching story that is interest in enough to stick through this case cop show episode by episode. Do I have to get through 4 seasons just to get to s5 with the non procedural setting?
Olivia gave the weight of the magic silver box to Walter and then she goes back to her universe ruining the balance, is it ok?
! Peter implants chip, everyone freaks out, your brain will irreversibly alter they say, peter removes chip, they meet september, a life long chip haver, he got his chip removed, says nothing differentiates him from normal humans now, nobody gets another chip :( !< there's so many plot holes i hate it.
So I’m so confused, how is Charlie in this episode? Did I miss something? At first I thought he may just be a hallucination of Liv’s or since this episode was about souls and life essences then it may have been like a physical representation of Charlie’s soul still being with Liv or something but as the episode progressed it started to seem quite obvious that he has corporeal form so nothing made sense to me after that. I haven’t seen Charlie being explained back into the show and I’m almost always an attentive watcher so I don’t think I would’ve missed it, but hey maybe I missed something cause the episode never expanded on Charlie’s presence at all. So lost. If it isn’t spoiling anything I would love to know how Charlie is in this episode, but if it is a spoiler and it’ll later be revealed then please don’t explain
EDIT: season 2 episode 11
So I'm on a break from my fringe rewatching and decide to check out the movie Unbreakable again. I'd seen it years ago and knew it was good but couldn't remember it. So I'm watching and who do I see as a psychotic killer but Mitchell Loeb (Chance Kelly) from Fringe!!!

Planning a rewatch of episodes with a friend I’m visiting specifically on Halloween. Obviously the whole show could be described as having spooky/Halloween vibes, but which episodes do y’all think have the spookiest vibes?
IMDB Summary: The Fringe division investigate the questionable fall of a Massive Dynamic executive analyst. John helps Olivia crack the case. Peter meets up with an old girlfriend.
