Is there any reality where this guy, who got brainwashed and helped Baal escape, wouldn't be locked in a dark corner of Area 51, if not taken out back and shot? He's in possession of HIGHLY classified info (the Stargate program, and all accompanying info), so he can't be "fired" and let loose. He's already been a MASSIVE breach of *global* (if not Galactic) security. But he just goes "I'm good now", and they give him his badge and gun back, *AND* put him on another op involving Baal?!?
Also, someone also pointed out that the "mistake" version also says "There is" instead of "There's". This version has that corrected as well :)
today its only half of a scene but i think you can guess what it is in the comments
For my fellow P90 Enjoyers. It is mentioned in the video that the set did in fact have 10 authentic P90s from Belgium. Not clones, but the real McCoy.
Watching “Fallout” and when Jonas’ assistant volunteers herself to go into the tunnel, as the goa’uld mentions “my symbiote will protect me”. Isn’t she the symbiote?
Or is it just a way of saying it so the humans will understand?
I wonder why they didn't pair Daniel with Sarah. They would have been perfect together. Yes, they have a past, he admits he screwed it up. He could have been there for her in her recovery.
I custom made a t-shirt with it last year. I had to actually custom make the design, since I couldn’t find it anywhere, and sent it to a t-shirt printing company. I’ve worn it many times to conventions/other places. Since then, I’ve seen this popping up everywhere.
I kind of want to think I popularized this, but am welcome to receive a reality check if anyone else has seen this pre-2023
So I have been getting into listening to audiobooks more to satisfy my sci-fi fix. I finished Project Hell Mary not long ago and I'm almost done with the second book in the Bobiverse series.
I know that this is a Stargate sub but was wondering what y'all have read or are reading.
Got this tattoo yesterday.
It's kinda crazy when you think about it.
Early on in the show there is this idea that the United States "opened Pandora's box" by unburying the Stargate in 1928 and creating the Stargate program in the 1990s.
But in fact, even if they hadn't done these two things, the Goa'uld Goddess Hathor would still have been unsealed by two random archaeologists in 1997 in some tomb in Mexico (as seen in the SG-1 season 1 episode "Hathor").
Imagine if Hathor woke up and the Stargate program didn't exist. She would have enslaved the entire Earth population. She would also easily have found the Stargate buried in Egypt and would then have used it to get back at Ra or something. Anyway, we would have been screwed.
So in the episode they gate to their descendants campsite.
They have been cut off from their real homeworld for 30 years. In the kino footage we see Eli explain that they in 10 years managed to build more housing.
So why would a technology advanced society send an expedition camping? And why would they in 30 years still be camping? I am both an eagle scout and a veteran, and my campsite would look very different if I got 30 years to rebuild it!
I been searching the web for, a while, and i cant find 1 image of what the flag or logo fo the Ancient Domain would even look like. I saw some ones out there like the Ancient Domain Group in roblox and i made one myself but never sent it to the public. I dont know if theres one out there thats lost media and if there is one can someone tell me where it is or i will resort to the one i made.
I recently learned that SG1 had novels. After getting over my disappointment in myself that I didn't know that sooner, I looked it up and found this one. I want to get into the novels but I want your thoughts on the 'must-reads', 'mustn't-reads', 'maybe-reads', and 'I don't know reads'. Also, please tell me what you think of The Furies.
Does anyone have a good (readable) picture of his tag? Either from the series (though I don't think they are clearly shown) or a prop?
Or even better does anyone know if there are prop replicas of his tags on sale? I've seen Sam's and Jack's but not Sheppard's.
Does the Jaffa not have monogamous relationships, or is Teal'c just a womanizer and bad dad?
Gourds make for great birdhouses. He wouldn't even need the herb if he could offer both candles AND birdhouses in trade.
In First Strike, why didn't the Atlantis team just slide the city to the right a bit when submerging the city? Maybe the Replicator beam wouldn't have detected that movement, and the city would have moved out of the attack area.
Which episode is crave's cover of stargate ? Who is this dude on the right ?
A drone blows up. The stainless table legit looks like torn metal. Anyone who worked on that prop have any input on how that was done?
