I hate being so late to the party because im sure all these topics have been gone over time and time again 9 years ago but i have so many questions about the show.
Was Curtis Chen a freelancer in 2077 posing as a Liber8 member, im so confused, he had the freelancer tattoos in 2077 which would have to mean he was one of them before they took his body and brought him back to life
Does Travis have an crm?
It's off Netflix and Hulu in the states. I really would love to do a rewatch!
So I'm up to episode 7 of the first season and up to this point she have done the "i love my husband and child so much, they are my everything" with all the flashbacks.....but in this episode they say her husband cheated on her before he married her.......
Did the writers add this so they could have her have sex with other people in the future instead of being faithful?
It seem so out of the blue, other 6 episodes the flashbacks show they are great and the 7th episode they introduce that he cheated on her....
maybe im paranoid, but ive seen so many shows where they make them sleep with other people...I think in the tv show Outlander she cheated in episode 7 of season 1 lol(stopped watching it, she waited for her hubby for 15 YEARS during the war and then she gives up trying to get home after a few months to bed a 20yo).
I guess my only question is, Is this a way for the writers to give her a "free pass" to have sex with other men because he cheated on her?
If she stayed faithful though all seasons I would be amazed, because it often not how hollywood writers work lol.
It is not a big spoiler, it is pretty much a yes or no question, will she sleep with other men?(if she bed her partner i shift delete the show lol)
This is hands down my favourite scene in the entire series, it's just such a frigging mood thanks to the videography and that song working really well together.
This is one of my fav all time shows. Watched every episode 3 or 4 times already and tended to only re-watch the first and second seasons though as I recall S3 not being that good.
Upon re-watch and I guess now knowing what to expect I'm in love with the show again. The way they developed the characters by splitting them off to other versions of themselves was a really nice touch. Also really enjoying the webisodes off the blu-ray - new content I'd never seen before is pretty sweet 8 years after I first saw it.
Excited about starting s4. I recall that being exceptional. I never marathon shows and I remember finishing that in 2 days because it was so gripping.
Hey; the title of this post is a quote from Kellogg : “There’s no Kirk, no Picard. They barely have a Jordy.”
I don’t know why but this is hilarious to me. Kellogg (and Kiera) are from the future and don’t know many pop-culture references. I’m assuming Kellogg wouldn’t be familiar with Star Trek pre-time jump.
So at some point in modern times, he was either watching Star Trek for pleasure or researching it just to throw a nerdy reference to a modern-day character.
And…. It’s kindof a dated reference too. TNG went off the air in ‘94, which is maybe 20 years before Continuum takes place? Would Alec enough know who Jordy is?
So I’m trying to show my kid the series cause he’s into shows like this now and even had episodes bought on iTunes and now I’m realizing I can’t watch this show in the United States. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can watch this? Like do I need a vpn? If so which country do I select. I’m really bummed even tweeted Simon Barry. Please help love this show.
In season 1, all titles have the word "time ":
Season 2, has "second" (like 60 seconds; also since it is second season):
Season 3 had "minute":
Season 4 had "hour":
Really enjoying the show but Kiera Cameron looks and feels really different in season 2. The character feels like a different person.
The character's personality, how she portrays it and interacts with the people around her, etc. feels like a different person. Did the script writer change? Also in season 1 she looks kind of like Olivia Wilde but in season 2 she kind of looks like Riley Raid. Just kind of off putting.
I watched on Netflix last time but now I can't find the full show in HD anywhere that doesn't cost $25 per season.
Most of the posts asking here are like a year old so I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to stream it in good quality, like if it's available on Netflix or Amazon Prime in a different region or other methods. Preferably in 1080p if that's even available now.
"You lose, good day sir" from willy wonka https://youtu.be/ymPpIzaanhY
Such a tease. The entire show is akin to if Dorothy was stuck in munchkin land forever. I wish they sped the plot through s4 a bit faster, cutting unnecessary stuff and the last episode or two being her actually getting back to her timeline. Especially, since they built up how important Kiera was for time. The traveller seemed give her a boost but I guess it did nothing. They could have done a "You can't change the past, but you can change the future" kinda shindig.
First of all it was fantastic show and I loved it, the creators did fantastic job. I was only dissapointed about the end I somehow wished Keira could stay with Carlos. Also do you think she was killed? Because in the "new" timeline there is different Keira with Sam so there can't probably be two. Btw what happened to Garza, Curtis? We only know they named the park after Carlos and that Alec was with Emily.
I just watched 1x7 for the first time... can we talk about the fact that Carlos said he doesn't want to sleep with Alicia? He didn't gave her consent but she simply raped him.
What annoys me so much is that they don't acknowledge it was rape. Even Carlos speaks of her as a good friend after what she did to him
This is one of my favorite sci-fi shows I've seen in a good while, sucks to have gotten to it so late though! Who knows, maybe one day it'll come back 😔
Just finished Travelers and want to watch this but can’t find it for my TV - shame on them!
Someone mentioned unofficial sites in the other thread but help with that would be awesome.
It’s so annoying that certain shows like this and Sanctuary aren’t streaming at the moment
In this episode, Alec and Keira travel back in time 1 week. At 23:50 Keira calls Alec. But don’t both Alecs in this timeline have the same number? How does she get through to the “right” Alec?
Rewatching and this came up in the second or third episode. Alec had to explain it to her. If she were from hundreds of years in the future it might make sense but 65? I guess you could say the Congress got rid of it when they revisioned history.
Not a serious nitpick just having fun :P
I loved this show until the last season. Then it seemed to just lose focus and wildly spin out. There was this amazing build of intensity and intrigue that just petered out at the end. I made it through but it was challenging.
So much to say damn, im just so overwhelmed (in a good way as a sci fi fan) by this show. Like usually in shows we sorta tend to side with characters but in this one, nope. Everyone is in kinda of a grey area- good and bad. Kiera does realise the negative aspects of the corporate rule but still just goes with the flow and genuinely believes in the order that the corporate rule provides ig( still not sure on what's kiera's view haha). On the other hand, we have the liber8 who have resorted to violence and terror in order to help people. So they're good and also not good guys- they're idea of sacrificing hundereds in order to save millions really makes me so conflicted. Anyway, if im not wrong in the current timeline after alec used the time machine, carlos and betty go to Julian's farmhouse for a place to hideout. However, curtis then shows the trying-to-escape Kiera that the current timeline is collapsing. So what does that mean? Those in the current timeline just experience the world is ending thing we were told in 2012 xD?. Damn my grammer and everything is so off, just tooo damnn impressed by this wonderful show
Season 4 seems rushed, but if im correct they have been canceled after season 3 and then production give them this 6 episodes to end show properly. Too bad they didn't have chance to show full glory of this show (it shoud have 7 season i think), but still they did great job for time they got. I relly enjoyed show, im not fan of scifi shows, but this will always have special place on my list.
Ok so im like 7 eps into S1 and out of all the things about the show, im very intrigued and impressed by the corporate rule. Like what happened and the economics of it. Read a few posts abt this on the sub but are quite old and just curious if anyone has come up with a solid speculated theory after all these years.
I think there was a post about this just yesterday which has now disappeared, but that person was right. The description for the sub is wrong. It’s alec sadler, not adam sadler
