With the recent unveiling of Kia's first ever Ute. Will we ever see it in the SuperUtes Category in the future?
Does anybody out there know what Ryan Story is a Doctor in? Eg; medical, PhD, honorary? I can't seem to find any info on a basic google search..

Max Geoghegan is preparing to sample a Supercar via affiliated Dunlop Series squad. Image Racing.
Beyond that, the plan to do Super2 for next year beyond beckons. (Quote from the article but put into my own words)
My opinion: I CALLED IT!... well, sort of. I said in my last reddit post on here about Max that he could move up to Super3 or Super2 for Image Racing since they have a great relationship with Erebus. He could potentially move up to Super2 for Image Racing, I know I'm a day late on this article but oh well.
I was lucky enough to go to Queensland Raceway today to participate in the Ride Day, and get a couple of hot laps in the Gen3 cars.
Unfortunately, due to the Supercars feed terminal, the cameras weren’t recording and none of us get to see the in car videos from the hot lap. Was very disappointing when I got home and stuck my USB in to relive the experience, and got an empty stick.
Of course the main point is the experience at the time, and wow do they corner hard and fast around that track, but wow I would’ve loved to have watched it all again. Such a shame, especially since it’s so hard to get into a hot lap. If anyone else was there, this is why you didn’t get your video and I’m sorry it happened to you to. Thanks Supercars 👍
I’m looking to go to Bathurst with a group of mates 4-8
I live out of state so will be flying into Sydney.
Where are the best places to try and get accommodation this late in the game as most close places seem to be booked Already and don’t have dates for 2026
What is public transportation like around the Bathurst / and surrounding areas like?
What are some key tips that I need to know
Why do people think this sort of garbage is ok to do?

F1 Race Result and Season Standings
A poor weekend for Mostert means that Will Brown has won the F1 points championship with a round/race to spare. A pretty significant gap between the top 4 and the rest of the field. Props to Kostecki for back to back wins and picking up 50 points
NASCAR Standings
+500 points given to 8 cars advancing to the next stage from Round of 12
NASCAR Playoff picture - 1 more race in Round of 8
Waters has advanced to the Championship race (Adelaide Sunday race) thanks to his race 21 win. Golding and De Pasquale only real chance of joining him will be to win the Saturday race in Adelaide. Mostert has a slight chance to get through on points if he has a solid finish and others above him don't. Will be interesting to watch Payne v Heimgartner on Saturday in Adelaide. I'd be surprised if Brown and Feeney dont get through on points.
If the top 4 stays as is that makes for a very interesting race on Sunday in Adelaide.
Probably an unpopular opinion, I appreciate that, and apologies if it’s triggering to old school fans haha (I am one of them though).
If we’re going to go with the split season and playoff system (which I am still not a fan of) - why not go all the way and implement stage racing, and make Sunday a proper spectacle. I’d much rather a 3-4 hour race on a Sunday that has multiple stages that brings the field back together for a few (ideally double file) restarts and introduces some interesting strategies, while mixing up the field each time.
Might be me just wanting something different, and they seem to be pushing on with the playoffs, so why not go all the way.
I know Supercars isn’t NASCAR, but these shorter races where they just follow each other around because they’re all on similar strategies is getting rather dull. I enjoyed today’s race regardless, but why not have Sunday be the actual event rather than a finicky ‘round’ and multiple quali sessions, multiple shootouts. I just find them not as special as it would be with just one quali and one shootout for the weekend.
Rant over, keen for all thoughts positive and negative - I’ve got thick skin if you all hate it 😜
DJR must be rubbing there little mitts right now,
They get a 2024 Bathurst winner, Multiple 2024 race winner (in adversity) A championship winner (23) Someone who seems to still be in the prime of there supercar career.
A driver that comes with no sponsorship quarrels or contract quarrels because he doesn't seem to have any, They get a solid co driver in Todd, A solid race engineer in George,
Larko gets Brodie in a Ford, Brodie gets away from Erebus.
Wraps up nicely, I think.
Can Feeney still mathematically grab the title at Adelaide? Sorry if this has been covered and/or is obvious.
It’s obvious the cars can’t get up close to the other car because the tyre overheats, SVG said it in Newcastle last year. Killing the racing and follow the leader results.
Granted Brodie had to wear it to after getting pole. But the whole team getting in the Photo with Boost hats. Especially after everything else that's gone on this weekend. Are they trying to make up for it .
My second post about Max Geoghegan, yeah I may be documenting his career at this point because I am obsessed with drivers that have a famous last name/being related to a successful driver and I want them to succeed.
What a year for Max Geoghegan so far, after winning the scholarship series earlier this year and becoming a Erebus academy driver a few months later. He moves up to the GR Cup, continues to improve race by race and wins the championship, earning the $50,000 prize money. 60 years after his legendary grandfather won his first ATCC title.
So what's next for Max Geoghegan? Well, like he said in that interview with Craig Lowndes after he won the championship. "It's up to Baz.", he could spend at least one more year in the GR Cup or move up to Super3 or Super2 for Image Racing since they have a great relationship with Erebus Motorsport.

1:10 Laps, nearly 40 minutes to get 10 drivers done, would rather see one after another to keep the suspense high and all over in 20 minutes

Been binge watching some past Bathurst races and definitely like the Larko/Murph/Riana Crehan combination.
Worst? Anything with Paul Morris.
Anyone catch video of the aussies racing pile up at turn 12 of race 3 today, or the resulting clean up? Thank you!
I would have thought if you had your name on the winning car at Bathurst, and the publicity and tv time, you would take the option to run the signage to the end of the year. But Chico didn't. Was it all the off track shinangins that changed their mind?
Who is Hope energy? I googled Rodney Hope owns 6 servos around the gold coast and northern nsw.
So I assume this will also be a one off.
