So, we just had a full week of testing and the ONLY on-track video came out is a very short onboard video, pretty bland, made out mostly of re-gen laps and people slow in traffic, while there are like 4 videos of drivers interview.
This season you have the supposedly fastest accelerating FIA single seater on the PLANET and you don't show it properly? Can't get it.
For comparison, F1 milks the hell out of every single day of track action, even if it's testing, with onboard videos, analysis etc.
FE on the other hand doesn't seem too bothered to market its (very good!) racing product and show it to a wider audience, and i just don't get....why?
And it's not just testing, if you look at a bigger picture they don't promote/show enough their on-track product even during the race weekends.
Does anyone know where I can get season 11 Mclaren merch?
Could someone explain to me why Kiro hasn't signed contracts with its drivers for the next Formula E season yet? Ticktum and Beckmann completed the pre-season without a guaranteed contract, and there is only a month left until the start of the new season? It seems to me that the new administration only acquired the ERT team late, and apparently realized that Sette Câmara has a contract for. the next season, even if they don't want to. It's just a theory but this situation is totally unusual.
Anyone followed closely the testing event? Any stand out performance? Any vehicle that looked promising?

In FEN's post Jarama test notebook, there was some information about a potential 'unique event' in the middle of the Jeddah-Miami gap (see key extract below, but full info via the link).
Question is, what kind of 'unique event' could genuinely work well and add to the championship and provide template for future events?
Time-Trial television event? Downtown parade or roadshow showcase? A non-championship race with an experimental format?
Formula E is starting to form a potential marketing focused event in the U.S to fill the two month gap in its calendar next March. Formula E CEO, Jeff Dodds, was playing cards close to his chest in Jarama but did say that the plans would be “a unique event that fills the gap.”
“And that unique event has to bring new potential fans to Formula E. It has to allow the teams to build their profiles. It needs to allow the drivers to start to build even better profiles for themselves to give them more exposure, and it needs to be something that could be scalable into the future,” added Dodds.
“I don’t want a one-and-done type customer event. If it works brilliantly, I want to be able to scale it in the future. That’s what we’reworking on. We’ll announce something shortly. There won’t be the big gap in the calendar, there will be something in the middle of it.”
FEN understands that teams are generally supportive of the concept but quickly require clarity on key aspects such as potential running of cars and costs of the project which could take place in or close to Miami and also act as a promo event for the Homestead race in April.
I have been thinking how much attention this all-female test has brought to Formula E.
Last year only a few of us who are big fans cared about it and now it has mainstream media attention. This is also probably because drivers like Bianca or Jamie Chadwick have massive followings.
What if they applied a similar rule to their electric cousins Extreme E and E1 and made one car per team mandatory to be for a woman? Would it make the championship grow in popularity?
It would also be a massive differentiator vs F1.
The new Gen3 evo would only use all wheel drive with 350kW total during the duels + attack mode and the rear wheel drive with 300kW total for quali + race.
Why don't they also implement all wheel drive for the quali + race but just reduce the rear motor power from 300kW to 250kW and let the front motor run the 50kW to complete the total 300kW?
When in duels & attack mode, the rear motor would just increase another 50kW to complete the total 350kW.
I'm sure every driver would like the new cars to have all wheel drive.
New fan here , I watched some highlights and it seems an interesting motorsport. If anyone can explain to me what to anticipate in this season , and if there is any youyoutube channels with good content around the sport.
