Well, first off, about my Trackhouse/Triple Eight comparison poll. Yeahhhhhhhhhh, with this announcement, I can sort of put that comparison down the drain but not really at the same time.

Anyway, wow, this announcement has broken the internet including me haha, I never thought Triple Eight would go back to Ford after all that success with Chevrolet but here we are. I am going to jump on that hype train starting in 2026.

I am combining a lot of posts into one that I think actually gets down to the real question.

Is the series better off in the long run if General Motors just leaves the series all together?

I say yes because then series would be forced to move on. I think it would thrive. But it can’t and never will because it still thinks it’s married to Holden and cannot admit the relationship is over even though GM has done everything to let you know it’s over except file for divorce.

Am I missing something here but why doesn't GM use the Corvette?
