Ok get this i use a vpn in college to 1. Get past network blocks 2. To block a software called senso to spy on the PCs. Any so the VPN is hosted on my UDM-Pro so on the UDM I made a network block to disable senso client on all networks. Now i did that about 3-4 days ago and then today I tried to boot Minecraft using Modrinth and I got something like "Account could not be authenticated" so he i was trying to figure out why I could not go to "https://api.minecraftservices.com/launcher/login". Then I turned off the network block for senso and boom it loaded why tf is this please educate me.

so i made an account that got locked, i try to unlock it it doesn't let me, so i make a new account and add my phone number and it just lets me do it fine, then i try again to unlock my other account and i get a number on my phone and it was fine, then it just gets locked again??? wtf

so i open up the minecraft website and try to log in, then the site told me that I didnt own the game, opened up the game to be told that i dont own a account prompting me to open it up through a diffrent launcher, which tells me "Failed to log in: Profile not found by userId: (id i cant say) i have not installed anything or logged into anything please help

Hello, My Microsoft account got hacked a few weeks ago and I used it to play Minecraft. Today I bought the game again with my new account and tried to login through the Minecraft Launcher. But everytime I try to login, i get send straight to the verification proces. If anyone knows how I could delete my old account or get rid of the verification screen in the launcher, i'd be happy to try the options! Thanks.

I have had jobs previously in which Microsoft Office proficiency was vital, especially Access, but also Word-Excel. I've not worked at such jobs in quite awhile (10+ yrs) and am considering trying again. Do such jobs still exist, or does everyone use Google Docs now? Is Access worthwhile given that back then it was solely PC-based and you'd now expect a database to work on a phone or tablet too? Would 10+ years away from it be so long that I would now longer have a chance without training, and if such training is needed, how do you get it?

I make an account, i buy gamepass and it works. one day later i see my account is locked i say no issue i'll just put my phone number, then my phone number suddenly doesn't work and it says something went wrong. i try for hours and it doesn't work, so finally i decide to buy a new gamepass subscription then when i add my paypal it just says try again, why is this happening?

I applied for a role at MS and I am puzzled. I thought the interview went well, but the hiring team said I should apply for a different role (I had in fact and was rejected, but the interviewers did not know this :-/). I am either too technical or not technical enough...I am at a loss. My gut feeling is that they will not move forward. Is such a reccommendation common?

Please Microsoft, stop shoving Edge down our throat. I seriously loathe to have an option for default browser that keeps being disregarded everywhere. I already disabled online search in the start menu through group policies (who wants to have web results when looking for settings, anyway) but the last straw was Outlook that has now a specific option to override the default browser in the advanced tab defaulted to Edge. Just STOP.

Hey All. I’m puzzled, and I cant figure out what the limitations there are that are creating this puzzling scenario for me.

TLDR: If they can make so many versions for Mac, windows, web based, etc why cant they make a full version for the ipad as well?

I have been using Microsoft office since I was in elementary school. I refuse to use anything else such as the Mac versions of Microsoft office, google docs, etc. For many years i have been a user of both Mac and Windows, using Microsoft Word on each. Theres some slight differences in the versions, but they’re basically the same. (I was going to have images to show but this community doesn’t allow it. But it would have been of the web based version and the ipad version side by side).

I cannot for the life of me figure out why they don’t make the full version available for ipad? This goes for word, excel, and PowerPoint. The iPads can surely handle it, right? Especially today’s modern chips. So why do they insist on this bare bones version? It’s a terrible product, really, especially if you need the full version like i do. What exactly is the reason they dont make the full version available?

Some arguments I thought of in their favor:

Why use an ipad? get a surface tablet: Sadly i do have an iPhone and a Mac, and i rely on the iPads ability to use the apple eco system for my productivity flow. I also DO have a surface laptop 3, but it does not have the battery life or the performance i need with its evo chip. It’s just a base model. I also dont want to have top spend a bunch of money on another product i dont really need

Why use the ipad at all if you have a Mac? I have to be mobile all the time. Literally all the time.

Why does Microsoft have to cater to your needs? You chose the ipad, deal with it or get a Microsoft based product: Very fair! But, i pay for the Microsoft subscription like most of us do. Ill always be a customer of theirs, i just need to be mobile sometimes with an ipad. So i dont understand why they cant just make the full version of it because its still costing me the same whether i use their product from a ipad, Mac, surface, or not.

I just compared size and spacing of this menu in Edge versus Safari, and in Safari the text for them is slightly larger and more spaced out, making it easier on the eyes. I see no way to change this in Microsoft Edge. I don't want to have to zoom in to the entire page in order to change one font element...

Just looking for a bit of guidance in this scenario. There's a few posts on this subject but this one is slightly different.

Client has previously been set up with a Microsoft Tenant with users and licenses configured. This was for access to SharePoint. They have already had their Google Docs migrated. They are now looking to move from GMAIL to M365 for their email.

I've been going through the procedure for the migration and it seems straight forward given the limitations and things that can break. There are a list of prerequisites needed to be completed prior to the Automated migration.

These are:

Create a subdomain for mail routing to Microsoft 365 or Office 365
Create a subdomain for mail routing to your Google Workspace domain
Provision users in Microsoft 365 or Office 365

From what I understand creating the subdomains is to allow mail flow during the migration. Is this needed if users have already been created in the Microsoft Tenant? Can we just change the MX record via DNS and then perform the automated migration into the existing user accounts/mailboxes?

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi all, I have downloaded a font to use on a project that has a black outline with a white centre.

When I type over a picture, the centre is transparent, not white and so therefore is not bold enough.

If I highlight the text and select text fill >white, it doesn't work and still leaves the majority of the font transparent..... can anyone help?
