So I bought a game on my Xbox account and I have my friend set as a member of my family and an account on my home xbox but when he tries to open games from my account the game blips gray and then closes please help

I recently upgraded my Xbox One S with an SSD (for longer life) however that SSD is 950 GBs, and when I formatted it from the PC it showed everything correctly.

However, when I installed it on the console and made it work with the option (Update offline) it only registered 350 GBs.

What can I do?

Hello dear community, yesterday I finally managed to buy a new xbox series x from my local electronics retailer after months of saving. But my joy was short-lived. When I connected the new xbox at home, it started to update. When I start it up again, the xbox logo only appears once and then I have a black screen. The xbox then switches off again after 5 minutes. I have repeated this 20 times and can't get any other results. Is my new xbox defective or am I just too stupid to set it up? Please help me, I'm really desperate.

i recently got my own One X so that i no longer have to share and i was wondering if all the games i purchased with transfer over? like i know the games that are installed won’t transfer but will the ability to download them transfer?

I'm on pc and my game bar will only clip my voice if I have it on game mode but I also want it to pick up on my browser but when I set it to all mode it stops picking up my mic but picks up my browser fine. I mainly just want to record my mic, discord in chrome, and what ever game I'm playing. I've looked everywhere but can't find why. I've given it permission to record my mic. How do I fix it because its kinda weird that it sounds like I'm talking to myself when I clip something.

I am at my absolute wits end, and am ready to just toss my Xbox One. I still currently use my first Xbox one from years ago, and it’s been great! Except for this issue that started a few months ago. All of a sudden my controller would randomly disconnect, then reconnect mid-game. And now it won’t even connect at all. I’ve done hard resets for both, put multiple sets of brand new batteries, tried different controllers, and the issue is just not fixing itself. I haven’t been able to use my Xbox in months, and I don’t want to lose the 1000s I’ve spend in games, but I also just want to watch Tv. I can’t even connect my phone, as I need the controller to do so. What should I do at this point? It’s not worth enough at this point to try and send it to someone to fix.

As title says I got the Xbox series x for Christmas, she said it came with 2 years of ultimate game pass and when I turned it on it said that I had 2 years of ultimate and that I could claim it for the current account I was logged into, I claimed it(and I know I did because I was refunded for my core on 12/25/24, but now as of today, my ultimate ran out, the weird thing is that it was a few days more than a month, but the main problem is I was supposed to have two years. Can anyone help?

So, my controller got disconnected from my Xbox Series S randomly, and I couldn’t get my Xbox into connection/pairing mode to reconnect it, no matter what I tried. Some how, while trying to reconnect it, I ended up resetting it, and now I’m stuck on the screen you see above.

Obviously I can’t hold the Xbox button down if the controller isn’t connected to the Xbox in the first place, so what do I do?

It´s a PowerA controller, but first if someone starts talking 'meh its third party' or 'its a crime use this', remember that these controllers are not produced by xbox but they are licensed from xbox so its not a crime or something like that and another fact that i saw the microsoft´s news and are people saying this controller would not work correctly or not work anymore but this only will happen to that non-licensed controllers like this one.

I´m from Brazil, so i dont know if its gonna enter in any other region but these one in example is a non-licensed one.

----HOW IT HAPPENED-----

I was playing Red Dead Redemption and i was noting that when i pushed LT, John was aiming and shooting at same time, and i knew that was something wrong because when i played it back in the Xbox 360 it wasnt that way, so i thinked that it was some kind of option that was activated and was doing this, so i checked everything and didnt found nothing, then i thinked it was a bug because i was playing in Series S and it was just a little bug, then i played till some missions of mexico, specifically in that mission that you plant dinamites in the way to attack a convoy of wagons, and at the middle of that mission i was just going like a way up the hill to hide and wait till the convoy pass through and i pushed the right analog up and John aimed and there i started to think it wasnt just a little bug or something normal about the 'port' to Series S.
After that i came to reddit to ask it was normal or no. Here is the post.

And then i noticed it started to do it in Fortnite Festival, i was playing One by Metallica and that part that comes a lot of notes in LT (green notes) when i pressed some of they activates the RT (blue notes), after that it was worst because every game i played it happens in it too.

----THINGS I ALREADY TRIED BUT FAILED----

1. I first tried to update my controller in the PowerA Gamer HQ in PC, i updated and nothing, the trigger still activates the other and same about the right stick.

2. After that i calibrated every single thing i could and nothing, and i tested to put dead zone in the two triggers and still nothing

3. I opened it and noticed that a little black plastic have broken from the LT trigger so i thinked 'Well, there is the problem.' and i by myself bought and switched the whole LT button. (NOTE: i already have a lot of technical experience but never had this problem)

So im almost getting crazy because i never had a so complicated problem like this one, so if someone knows how to fix it, i would be really grateful.

My Xbox randomly gets a wierd drop in fps or at least I think so, and it makes everything slow and buggy and laggy. It only lasts a few seconds

Hello, awhile back I started a new Elden Ring game and when the opening cutscene played the voice of the guy talking was very quiet for some reason, at the time I just thought I had turned the volume down for some reason but after playing through the entire game like that with very quiet voices and other games having very quiet voices I've come to realize that there is an issue. If anyone has any advice to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated. (I also use headphones and never use tv audio if that's important.)

I've come back to Xbox and my Xbox app is showing people I removed from friends still in the popular with friends bar, I've even tried blocking them just get clear the tracking but to no avail. I also tried setting all the privacy stuff to the strictest setting and it didnt change anything.

When I click into the game on the bar, it shows people I'm actually friends with to which is even more weird.

Is there a way to prevent it from tracking people not actively on my friends list?

I want to get audio from my laptop to Xbox. And whenever I switch hdmi channels the other hdmi audio cuts out. And whenever I connect my laptop to monitor the display is there but now audio?

I’ve had my Xbox less than a year(didn’t get a warranty it was bought for me) and from day one my controller didn’t properly connect, it would connect but keep disconnecting and it’s not every time so it’s been manageable… however recently it’s every time I use the xbox, I updated the controller, got new batteries, moved closer, tried it plugged into the Xbox, even bought a new controller but same thing with that one and idk what I’m supposed to do about it… tried to troubleshoot via Xbox support but the site kept crashing and it’s a pain in my ass… I’ve updated the console and both controllers and tried all different types of batteries and moved the console and controllers and nothing works idk what to do.. don’t have a warranty because my boyfriend bought it for me and didn’t get one so not sure if there’s even anything I can do in that department… helpppp😫😫😫

Happened yesterday completely out of nowhere, I had remapped paddles about an hour earlier and it was fine, then I created a new profile and suddenly the paddles won't let me change them (trying to just does nothing).

They all register, and the assigned buttons on and profile still work as assigned, I just can't register any new ones nor change any on any existing profiles.

I plugged the controller into my PC and downloaded the app there, and it works completely fine. But obviously I don't want to have to go plug my controller into my computer every time I want to change a button. I can't reinstall it since it's a system app.

After a certain point, it seems like they all start not working correctly. They won't restart and just keep blinking, they won't update games without power cycling first. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but once a year or 2 I dust them out.

My brother has a Xbox core subscription and he wants to share with me, so I made his Xbox my home Xbox and my Xbox his home Xbox, games share but not the core membership.

After owning two Elite Series 1 controllers and two Elite Series 2 controllers, I’m officially done with them. My last S2 is breaking down again after just two years—this time, the grips are peeling off rapidly, making it really frustrating to use while gaming.

I love the feel of the Elite, but the build quality just isn’t holding up for me. At this point, I’m looking for a comfortable, high-quality controller that doesn’t fall apart after a couple of years. I’m not necessarily after an "Esports" experience like the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro (which also seems a bit short for my liking).

What are your recommendations for a solid replacement? Preferably something with good durability and comfort.

so I bought an xbox one and I want the original 2013 experience. How do I rollback all updates to it?

My headset will crackle and come in and out. It was happening severely on my Nubwo. Just got a new wireless headset that I thought would solve the issue, but it's the exact same thing on these one as well. I tried another controller but it's a still a problem. It's driving me crazy, please help.

Once a month my xbox series x (and my previous xbox one) log me out forcing me to log back in and go through the hassle of getting a new password. I play on it one day, turn it off and the next time I go to play it’s logged me out. Is there any explanation or solution because this becoming increasingly irritating.

Originally I had two Xbox One's that I could play purchased games on at the same time.

I upgraded my main Xbox to a series S. I can no longer use both Xboxes at the same time. It gives me an error that says the account is already in use.

I'm pretty sure I've got the "Home Xbox" setting correct. I've tried it both ways.

I've also tried using a separate account and the same account but cannot play simultaneously either way.

I'm on the same WiFi network as well.

Does anyone have any ideas or advice?

I can post screenshots or provide more info if needed. Any help would be appreciated, I've tried everything I know to try.

Does anyone know why Xbox remote play has been so bad recently? I've been using this for about two years and never had a problem. It's always been better than PlayStation remote play, but lately, it's been so laggy that I can't use it at all. network tests seem fine. It says the same thing it always has soooo i have no idea. also, PS remote play is fine. works great it's only Xbox right now.

I’m not sure why this is happening. I’m trying to install Madden 17 and it keeps on stopping installation and when it says it is installing, it’s not. The disc is perfectly fine, and I was able to install other disc games to. I have plenty of storage available.

Meu xbox está na versão 26100.3281.amd 64fre.xb_flt_2502ge.241205-2200 (eu participava do Insider Program, não mais). Fiz a troca do meu antigo HD original por um SSD da crucial de 500 gigas, porém recebo o erro "E101 00000504 8B050041". Alguma ideia?
