So i got Xbox account banned. i dont know what i did lol. i play Gamepass on PC thats it, haven't even played in 33 days. no idea why. i tried to sign in to Xbox app to play Dead island 2 and found out. has this happened to anyone? doesnt let me appeal or show why or how long it is.. 15 years never been banned once.. ALSO before people say there must be a reason i was banned, yeah i know. ive told people the same thing before and now its happened to me im very confused... enforcement site dont even show a ban or suspension. i got the email Wednesday at 3pm

So, I tried to purchase Sea of Thieves on pc Xbox app. It says there are 3 versions of the game. While these are 2024 Premium edition and 2024 Deluxe edition. But I can't see and buy standart edition.

It originally happened on the Xbox one, where I would be connected to the internet and none of the Forza in game online things, like auction house which is free to use, worked saying the server was unavailable.

Then i got a series x thinking it was some shady marketing tactic to get you to buy a new Xbox, it was fine for while, I didn’t use it for awhile then it became instantly crippled, like I can’t download games or see my own games, but I’m still actually connected to the internet, I reset the wretched thing, still didn’t fix it, now I have a $1000 piece of junk lying around, so fed up, anyone have a solution?

My home xbox is on an Xbox one S and my cousin is able to play the games I own but not able to play online. Tried most things that were suggested online but nothing is working. Any suggestions on a fix would be much appreciated.

I've been trying to change the background on my new xbox series s. When ever I go to the background section and start viewing backgrounds, 2-3 minutes later I get this error and screen goes back to main menu. What to do?! This is frustrating cause it's a new console and I'm having trouble already. Help out a fellow here please 🖐️

so ive joined a party on the xbox app on the pc and its only recently but when im not talking now it mutes my mic automaticly and if i dont talk loud enough it doest transmit what im saying or doesnt send the first bit of sound ,

is there anyway to stop this from happning since its rather anoying now

This is a recent problem of mine where all of a sudden my Xbox stopped connecting to my wifi saying I’ve got a DHCP error, I’ve had no issues with wifi for the 2-3 years I’ve had it before. I’ve called my wifi provider twice so it shouldn’t be wifi issues, tried an Ethernet cable (says wired but I’m still not connected), hard reset my Xbox, unplugged my router and modem and did all that stuff, checked my Xbox service status (all green and good), etc. when I look this up it seems that a possibility is that the IP address like, expired or something? And you have to change it manually. I see a place to do that in the settings however, I know less than nothing about IP addresses and have no idea what I’d change it to and am worried I’ll mess something up. Anyone know anything about this?

So recently I was in a Microsoft family, For some reason my account was under 18, but then i set it to over 18. Then i left the family and now this email appears a few days later.

Went to play ASA multiplayer, and was having issues. Looked online on ARK website and it said reset and save game which I did. Went through the whole process and now I have three games that I bought and they won’t let me play them. It keeps forcing me back to the Microsoft store to purchase the game that I already bought. As you can see the games with the caution sign next to them. This includes Conan Exiles which I bought 3 weeks ago. Anyway advice would be nice.

My Arma Reforger somehow duplicated its installation onto my both my Internal SSD and external HDD (which I use for non X/S games). However, when I navigated to the specific storage device, the external HDD (no idea why it’s installed on there to begin with), and elected to uninstall the game directly from that interface, the console instead uninstalled the game from both storage locations. Why and why?

When I tried to play the game, it would tell me it couldn’t play X/S games from the HDD, like bro I know this already. I never installed it on there and I was literally playing it last week. Why? Just why?

Whenever I click the on button, it just starts slow blinking, even if I hold it down, it'll never like turn on. I also hold down that one button to make it flicker and put it in pairing mode but nothing can connect to it, not my PC or MacBook. Anyone know the issue?

Also, sometimes it’ll connect but then instantly disconnect and then keep going on and off like that. I feel like this might be because it’s connected to some other random device but i don’t know.

I came across an audio issue today where the games audio cut out and made my Xbox menu sound very weird but once I exited the game it made a popping sound and the menu audio went back to normal. I have never had it happen before why did the game do that and why did it fix in the game when I switched speaker audio.

Tl:DR my account of 9 years was hacked and deemed unrecoverable, has it been truly deactivated from possibly hacking my Xbox friends next?

I have spent the last few months dealing with the very untrustworthy process that is microsoft agents, I have gone through the span of 4 chats with them and 2 different phone calls and was given the very common ai response of "we detect the changes in your account and it being compromised but can't recover it."

 I know this is false, because I've seen plenty of cases of people being saved... At this point it's not my biggest issue, I have moved on from microsoft products. my real issue is the fact this hacker is sending my Xbox friends messages and some of them may be unwise and actually fall for the hacker posing to be me and I'm afraid my friends will go through this same process...

It's sad, hopeless even, I heard if people report an account enough it could be possible to be permanently banned, but does this stop him permanently? some of my friends are on pc and I want to know if I can get help with people mass reporting my compromised account? If I can at least stop the hacker from hurting my friends permanently... 

The lost purchases of these 9 years taught me I deserve to be treated correctly, it's insane that epic games, even steam have a more secure, and caring support team that know the balance of "consumer care for accounts." (The process microsoft agents love saying they care so much about,) while also balancing the security of it. Hell ubisoft of all people even helped me recover my compromised account! 😭

Recently all 3 of my xbox controllers have been randomly disconnecting mid game then reconnecting after a couple seconds. Yes I have gotten new batteries 3 different times and updated the controller, yet it still randomly disconnects. When I put new batteries in for about 10 minutes it’ll work perfectly fine then it’ll disconnect for one second, then three, then five, and it just gets longer to reconnect. Iv sold so many times in rocket league because my controller randomly disconnects I need change. And the controllers I have are the new Xbox X controller and ones from my old Xbox one. I have checked to see if my Xbox needs updating and it does not. My Xbox is plugged directly into the outlet.

I’ve been having awful lag out of nowhere while playing multiplayer games but I have perfect wireless connection and I’m not getting any packet loss/burst. I’m the only one lagging and I don’t have any issues in an Xbox party, just my character in game. I’ve reset my router and Xbox multiple times but I really don’t know what else to do and everything I read is just saying to restart your router. Any wisdom on this?

I've had no issues with my Xbox the whole time I have had it. Today, out of nowhere, I am having issues doing anything online. I cannot download, cannot update, and even streaming is buffering and not working.

I checked the connection and it's showing 6mbps. For reference, I have 1200mbps.

I've done speed tests and can confirm that wifi in the same location as the Xbox is getting over 400mbps. I've restarted the Xbox without that resolving the issue. I've also checked the connection via my Xfinity app, and it shows a "strong connection."

Does anyone know why this just started out of the blue? I've looked and nothing has changed in my settings.

Hello! This is my first time in this chat and I am very confused of what is happening to be. I recently receive an email stating my account is banned when I check my profile on the top right. When I go to enforcement history. It says 0/8 strikes. Do anyone who have experience with his know how to either with the zero strikes or to contact the enforcement team to hear the details of what is going on. I know Reddit might not be a good idea, but the instructions are vague on what they are showing me.
