I love my iPad but one thing that annoys me is reading emails.
Some emails have small font text in the email body. If I zoom in then the text doesn't wrap so I have to scroll left and right repeatedly.
I know you can set default text size in iOS but that doesn't solve it.
I've tried the Outlook app, the native Mail app and the Gmail app. They all suffer from this. In my view this is a surprising oversight from a UX perspective, or maybe I'm missing something.
Any suggestions? Thanks
I wish i could enable the need of putting the password first and only the the Authenticator App ask for the code. It's anoying having to deny so many login attempts by hackers.
anyone else know a fix, or is it a known bug that will be worked out?
using the search will show the older emails and their attachments but they wont show in the group view like normal non-shared inbox (or any other non-network shared folder)
i have a feeling my boss using Oldlook when setting this up is why its not working (ironically because they are stubborn to realize Newlook's grouping makes email clean up a breeze.
i cant wait for the forced upgrade and everyone is losing their shit and then i have to do a bunch of Newlook "training" webinars on its basic functions and everyone talking about how they hate it and its weird and it makes their job harder (because they'll still be using this archaic email sorting tricks instead of the built-in features of Newlook)
I'm helping someone who is trying to stop their Outlook from syncing one of their accounts, but would like to keep emails from that account in outlook. They just want the prompts to stop but keep the old emails. Is there a way to do this?
So I made the mistake of sending a mail chain to another person. Now I wanted to answer to that mail chain without the other mail I sent and it’s not working. Any options there?
I know its an old version but he is used to it so we have just kept it. We can send emails but not receive them. We have logged on to the server and the messages are there - they just are not getting to outlook. There is no issue connecting to the internet.
Every time I open Outlook I get a pop up window asking for feedback on new outlook. Started a couple of days ago. Providing feedback does not make it stop. Even if your feedback includes profanity. TIA
I am stuck in a verify my account loop I need an actual person to contact this process is absolutely ridiculous
I’ve sent the form sooo many times
Hello. My account got signed into by other people pretty recently and I managed to fight it off after a lot of security changes such as an alias change.
They added two applications called Mailer app and mails, I assume to receive emails that would allow them to change passwords? I removed them pretty quickly after they got access to two non-important accounts. I do want to know if they still have access to all my old messages despite that? Or if it only works to receive and send brand new emails?
My other question is regarding passwordless sign in for Microsoft accounts in general… anyone know what you should do in case of it being bypassed somehow? There wouldn’t be a password to change, so I am not sure how you’d force someone out? Feeling a little anxious here, would appreciate any answers. Searching online has given me conflicting results.
I noticed some really strange activity on my Outlook account today. In the last few hours, I had several unauthorized login attempts from various countries—Brazil, Taiwan, Colombia—all happening within a short window. 10-30min. Most of these attempts failed, but a few from Taiwan were successful.
Here's the weird part: I’ve checked “Have I Been Pwned” for my email and password, and nothing shows up. I also didn’t get any login alerts or activity on my recovery email or phone number, which usually would be a red flag if someone were trying to access my account through standard methods. The email address in question is strictly for work-related and official communications; I never use it for personal sign-ups, random sites, or anything that could compromise it.
This makes me wonder if a new breach or folder with account details could have surfaced just a few hours ago. Maybe there’s a vulnerability or batch of credentials that just leaked, allowing attackers to gain access without the usual indicators (no password leaks, no recovery email triggers). Now I changed my password and added 2FA.
Curious if anyone else noticed a sudden wave of login attempts or has thoughts on what could be going on.
Hello everyone,
I have a really important old hotmail account that i tried to log in to but it tells me i have entered too many password tries, i tried to reset my password but unfortunately the recover password code goes to another one of my emails that is also locked and i cant recover that email since its connected to a phone number i used to have 15 years ago, i know its my fault for not updating the security and back up account but is there any way to recover my account? (I know the password to the account, it just tells me too many log in attempts when i try to login)
Over the past two weeks, my inbox has been flooded with spam emails. I normally never had an issue with this; they would be automatically sent to my junk/spam folder.
I would create rules to filter out these messages, but they'd still come. I would report them and delete them, but they would still remain in the inbox.
I recently received a sign-in request on my mobile asking to pick a number to grant access to sign in.
What does this all suggest and How should I proceed from here?
Hi all I need to email a distribution list but take a person out of this if possible. She's leaving so would rather she wasn't aware we're arranging something for her.
TIA
Update. Ended up taking a couple nights to go through staff members we know closely and just add them.
So that I can click and open straight to the email
Is it a status? And what is setting the status? If it is coming from teams and my org no longer has access to teams, can i set it somewhere else?
Anyone know why pictures embedded in emails won't show up ? I've re installed office already.
So, I think I've determined that the Outlook on the web does not have any reply template function, at least not without Dynamics 365 or some other additional cost. I did find one 3rd party app that will add this at a fairly reasonable price, but does anyone know of any other options? Am I overlooking some buried feature in Outlook? I'm aware that templates exist in the desktop version, but the user this is for does not use the desktop version, and I'm guessing that would not get synced to O365.
Why would Microsoft remove this from the web version? It's like they are trying to see how terrible they can make everything before people stop using Microsoft.
I have an excel sheet of 700+ leads that came in from our website. Management does not believe our team has received and responded to each individual one.
How can I download all of my Outlook emails to an excel format, to quickly filter and compare the two excel forms and save myself hours of individual searching for each of these leads in my inbox??
I tried the Import/Export tool, but it doesn't export the email addresses.
When you export an olm file to Outlook, do the emails automatically get uploaded to your Microsoft account and you can access them from anywhere you log onto Outlook? I want to open an olm file locally and not have them actually on my account. And no, I don't want any suggestions about olm online converters, I don't trust that they wouldn't keep their access to my emails and no amount of persuasion would change that. Does anyone have any way to open olm files otherwise? I know this question has been asked countless times, but it seems like there's never been a substantial answer that doesn't involve third party software.
Hi, I've never used a rule in Ooutlook before but I created a rule to deal with some messages. I went back later to check on it and saw another rule in there that I did not create. It involved the email "Kenny_Lover_Boy@hotmail.com"
I do not know where this came from. Is this an example type rule done by microsoft? Multiple searches turned up nothing. This is just the free version of Outlook that comes with Windows 11.
Such a weird thing to find.
Thanks
This is a head-scratcher.
I have one user that certain emails are showing on the mobile device (always), but not in the desktop app of Outlook.
Here are my findings:
The mailbox on Outlook is set to Online Mode so the possibility of OST not syncing is out of the question.
The view in Outlook is set to the default and there is not filters I can see being applied
Ironic that this keeps popping up every 5 minutes and I cant get rid of it!
Filled it in multiple times but 5 minutes later, DO YOU LOVE IT YET, WHAT ABOUT NOW, DONT YOU LOVE ME YET, WHY DONT YOU LOVE ME..
Cmon outlook stop being so clingy you're better than this!
I'm trying to copy some data from an Outlook 365 online spreadsheet that arrived by email, even when copying the cell is dotted. But when I paste it, it doesn't work, it's as if nothing was copied. I use Chrome, does anyone have any idea what it could be?
Hi, previously I could see all my accounts' inboxes in one unified inbox but now I cant and i cant seem to find a way to do that again. any help?
Im currently in the process to login to my outlook account.
To login I have to type in a code provided by sms. But here the strange thing happens:
I get a sms with a code from my own number but with the country code sweden (+46). I do not have a swedish number.
If i then cancel the login and try again, I get a sms from "Microsoft". I can do this all the time in repeat, i will receive the codes from sweden then from Microsoft, then from sweden and so on.
The message is exactly the same. Use verification code xxxxxx for Microsoft authentification.
Im now afraid that both are maybe phising numbers.
We are using S/MIME Certificates to encrypt emails.
But since a couple of months (i think?) we have some new buttons under the encryt e-mail button. And now Outlook defaults to using "encypt only" or "do not forward" if i get rid of the encrypt only option via GPO, so most of our users don´t realise that they do not encrypt their emails the way our managements wants them to. Can anyone tell me where these additional buttons are comming from or how to get rid of them? None of my tries have really worked.
If i grey out the buttons for encrypt only and do not forward I cant just click the button anymore because an error pops up whenever you click it. And you would have to expand the menu to select encrypt with S/MIME
Anyone ever see Outlook web not allow a user to search their inbox? It also keeps deleting their email signature. I'm wondering what I can really do with this since it's the web version.
I have a shared calendar that I created. I used to see it no problem on my calendar in my Microsoft Outlook app in mac. However, for the past day I can no longer see what other people have added. If I go to outlook online, I can see what everyone had added.
I restarted my computer, deleted the app, logged out and back in. I don’t know what to do. Please help.
Is there a way to merge two calendars on outlook? I have an agency calendar and then a calendar set up for my personal trainings and appointments for my job but I need them to be in the same calendar so I can then share that full calendar with my supervisor.
I've been having this issue for the past week, sometimes I can go in my Hotmail and somethings it blocks me saying too many request? What the hell is going on and why? Is it on there side?
