Hello everyone!
I’ve been using the official Xbox Wireless Headset for my console and have been quite satisfied with it. Unfortunately, the headset has started malfunctioning and no longer charges properly.
Now, I’m considering buying a new headset, and I’m looking at the official Xbox Wired Headset. I tried to find comparisons between the two and found that they seem to have the same speakers. Can anyone who has used both confirm this? Is it really the same, just missing some quality-of-life features?
Also, are there any other wired headsets you would recommend? My budget is $100.
Thank you!
I keep being annoying about this in every possible new for any of those games. Whenever Xbox aknowledges the games, whenever they announce one of them coming to Game Pass, whenever anything with Crash or Spyro is posted by Xbox.
But there's barely any echo. Won't anybody love to play them on 60FPS like god intended? Playing hours and hours of multiplayer games at 120Hz to then move to any of those games playing on stuttery 30FPS feels like torture.
I have a theory that Xbox or Microsoft prevents preloading of first-party games if you insert the disc before the official release date, unless you have already preloaded the game.
This is based on multiple reports where players with disc copies of games before the release were only able to download around 300MB—if preloading was available.
If you’ve already preloaded the game, the disc will work before release, but only if you didn’t insert the disc before preloading the game.
The first time I noticed this was with Starfield. Some players who purchased stolen copies couldn’t preload the game. I suspect Microsoft is using methods like IP tracking or Xbox serial numbers to enforce this restriction.
I now believe this is being applied to all Xbox first-party games.
Imagine several wireless, goofy ass guitars, a few buddies, and ice cold beers… (or whatever you like to drink 🙂)
I have an Xbox one S and I’m looking for a 4 player split screen all-rounder racing game.
Let me know your top 3 and recommendations! doesn’t have to be too new or gimmicky. I like the look of ps’s trailblazers and grid:combat legends!
They are all the same thing with same games but priced weirdly some are priced 140 dollars while others are 20 what is this??
Share your favorite games from this year!
Salutations r/xbox !
As you may have deduced from our amazing title, we are starting our GOTY process where YOU, not Geoff Keighley, get to decide what game is GOTY for our subreddit. For those who joined us from r/XboxSeriesX and r/xboxone , its the same process that we have done in previous years but I will explain it for all our new friends here in r/xbox. This nominee thread will stay open for a few days as you guys suggest games to go into each category. After that is finished, a new post will go up with a google docs link where you guys get to vote in each category. After voting is finished, we will then make a third post with the results along with the data so no one can cry foul about mods having their fingers on the scale.
Now, for those who may not care about the popularity contest that is GOTY, here are the other categories we are doing that you will be able to vote in.
If there is one category that you feel is missing, let us know in the comments and we will consider adding it. We internally already have a list of games we feel should go into each category, but to make sure we don't miss anything we want you guys to nominate games you feel should be in one of these categories to be voted on. If enough of you bring them up, then it will be added. And before anyone asks, no DLC does not count as a game. Sorry Elden Ring fans, the DLC is great but it's still a DLC at the end of the day.
So share all your favorite games you have played this year, please share any memories and favorite moments you have had also. Time to look back on this great year of gaming we have had and the fun times it has brought us.

I've been playing Lego Skywalker Saga and holy cow I keep getting such nostalgia being my 10 year old self again playing this. What is a game that does that for you?
We are just about a month away from the now seemingly routine Xbox January direct. What do you want to see?
Obviously, Avowed, Doom, South of Midnight will most likely be there to promote the first half of 2025. Fable probably will be there too.
There are credible rumors about Gears E-Day and State of Decay 3 targeting a 2025 release date, so I would love if those showed up.
I also hope to see Clockwork Revolution
I really hope we get a release date at The Game Awards this year. Its going to be at least 5 years from announcement to release, minimum.
Is there a reason that its taken so long? Or is it just companies announcing things far too early?
What’s up with these sales? Some of the prices are cheaper than they were for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Why do they think that makes sense lol? Maybe to win over people that thought they successfully skipped it all? I just skimmed through the sales because I was considering getting Hogwarts. It was $20 for the base game and like $6-7 for the dlc. Now the deluxe with the same dlc is being sold for $20. There are a few other examples of this, although it’s not TOO many. But it’s weird to see it at all.
