How much did you spend on your tattoos?

Hi guys! I’m new-ish to the tattoo scene. I have 5 tattoos and they’re all less than rm250 for each as they’re on the smaller side (5cm-8cm). I just wanna ask how much did you guys pay for your tattoos for around 10cm-50cm in size in Klang Valley?

I’m thinking of getting a tattoo that’s 15cm in length and around 4cm in width on my upper arm. I got quoted rm600 for it. I’m just surveying around to see if that’s a good deal? The art isn’t super complex, imagine something like leaves wrapped around the arm. I’m also maybe looking towards getting bigger tattoos on the side of my body/leg area, so if you guys have any of those, feel free to also comment how much you were quoted for it.

Do drop any recommendations for good tattoo parlours! Thanks ☺️

What is up with all the illegal parking in this area?

Seriously, why are they allowed to park like this? Why the authority refuse to take action against these illegal parkers?

Best way to travel with family of 5

Since there’s no Malaysia travel specific subs I’m hoping I can get some insights here. We will be traveling into Malaysia from Singapore going through smaller towns like Batu Pahat and Melacca, then to KL and maybe all the way up to Penang.

From Singapore to Melaka and Batu Pahat I can probably book a van or a private driver. From these towns to KL should I explore train or just continue with a private car?

In general what’s a good way to travel from Singapore to KL if we wanted to visit multiple places? Should we consider a one way rental from Johor and returning the car in Penang?

Will Grab take a family of 5 if the baby sits on our lap? What’s the car seat law here for taxis and ride hailing?

Will Grab be available in smaller towns like Batu Pahat?

If we had to choose between Penang and Langkawi which should I go to?

Thanks for any feedback!

We are going to have a respiratory epidemic

Malaysians will have to reckon with the reality that a decade down the road, we will be facing a huge respiratory related epidemic. I see kids today walking into convenient stores to purchase vapes and adults puffing away in enclosed spaces with kids around. Some of these vape liquids come from probably unknown sources and there is no proper study/control on the substances in these liquids. Not to mention all these one time vape containers being littered everywhere and most are not viable for recycling, leeching heavy metals into our soil.

In the end, we as taxpayers will need to carry this bill.

Pay to get Malaysian citizenship for my son?

My husband is Malaysian but we live overseas in US. We got married in the US and had our marriage certificate before our son is born. Before our son turn 1, we tried to register Malaysian birth certificate for him, but got denied from the embassy because I don’t have my original birth certificate (My original BC got taken away by the immigration officer after I enrolled for US citizen, and don’t have it since then for more than 10years now). I tried to contact the embassy for my birth country, but they don’t do it. And I believe I don’t have any records back in my birth country anymore. So we couldn’t get the birth registration for our son in the US. My husband’s parents was upset and force us to get it done and their Malaysian friends saying that, you could just secretly give the jpn some money, and they will do it for you.

Can we still try again and get it in Malaysia after few year? We don’t have plan going back now, maybe when my son turn 3.

Dapatkan kad debit secara online

Adakah terdapat cara untuk renew kad debit yang telah expire secara online? Saya agak perlu buat di bank, tetapi ada kawan mention buat secara online. Saya cuba check kat website Bank Islam tetapi tak jumpa guideline spesifik tentang renewal.

Saya prefer tak pergi bank sebab nanti saya perlu minta off day dari kerja, tetapi saya mahu guna hari saya untuk benda lain seperti umrah bulan disember nanti.

Kalau takleh renew online, Maybank bagaimana? Family member mention buka akaun Maybank sebab senang buat transaction.

Terima kasih in advance :)
