By tomorrow (Biology paper), I'll be done with SPM 😊. So much to get rid of lol 😔. Even after setting stuff aside to give/sell to juniors, I still have a lot of stuff. Rough estimate about 10-15kg of books, papers and old exam papers, I hoarded 5 years worth of crap and paying the price now HAHA. Trying to find a place where I can drop it off, and if possible get a little money back. I don't want to just throw it all in the regular rubbish bin.

About 3 days ago, i made a terrible mistake by checking out girls in Locanto. But, pls trust me that i never had any intentions to book any girls. I just want to text them and move on.

Anyway, i texted a girl via WhatsApp and asked for her rate. After she responded, i immediately erased the chats and blocked the number.

Within a few minutes, i received WhatsApp calls and text from unknown number (local number) claiming that he is Abang kawasan / Abang long. He accused me for harassing her girl and caused losses to his business.

In order to settle this case, he asked me to make payment and i transferred RM 200.

He called me again and said it's not sufficient and asked for more. I paid another RM 400 and he then escalate this to his Ayahanda. The Ayahanda is using 2 foreign numbers. One is Indonesian number and another one is Philippines.

The Ayahanda told me that I need to pay another RM 3000 or else he will spread my pic (taken from my WhatsApp dp) and my phone number to his WhatsApp group and post it to facebook. He also threatened me and my family with death threats.

Feeling very anxious with the threats, i decided to make a police report (just a cover report btw). The inspector told me there's nothing to be worry about and told me that it's a scam and they just want to extort money from me.

After i got home, i searched some FB profile and pages and i was shocked to see that there are postings of my WhatsApp dp together with my chats with the girl (with my number displayed on the chat). Basically the postings, is to alarm the members of the kongsi gelap to find me.

So far i only managed to find 1 personal FB profile and 1 FB page (only 1 person as an admin and the same person as a follower).

I have blocked all the numbers and I have also reported the images to FB (to my disappointmet, FB have decided not to put the images down as it has not violated the community standards).

Ever since i got back home from making the police report, i haven't receive any calls or texts from them.

I know that it was such a foolish act from me but it has caused me panic attacks and i feel like i cannot function like a normal human being.

What should i do next???

Pls help me. It would be very helpful if anyone that had been in the same / similar situation to give me some advise on what i should do next.

Hi, I need a gaming laptop for gaming and my AI work. Although I cannot use my GPU for AI model training in laptop because it needs more vram. But I cannot go for desktop for certain reasons. I chose Lenovo Legion Slim 5 4070 at first but by the time I got money only 4060 is available. But since in March new 5000 series laptops are coming I am confused whether I should buy 4060 now or wait for 5000 series. However, it is also would best if I can buy the laptop in February because I need it as early possible. I also don't know how much will 5000 series laptop cost. My budget is around 7000 MYR. So bottom line is, I need a laptop asap but I am thinking if I buy 4060 laptop now, will I regret later for not getting 5070 laptop since it's coming next month. And price could be a concern here. Hey guys, I am planning to apply for B1/B2 visa to visit my gf in the States sometime after August this year.
However, I saw many post on Reddit stating that it is hard as hell to get one especially for SEA.

Sharing my current situation as of now, I am a Final Year student and doing my internship until end of July, My graduation is around October to November. I might or might not get a return offer.

My plan was to apply during May or June, where I saved up enough so that my bank statement looks presentable? Arnd RM20K-25K not including flight tickets (I know is not a lot) for like a 3-4 weeks stay, since I will be staying over my gf house.

So basically we met during an exchange program in a third country, and she also visited me during December last year. (Don't whether this is a useful info)

The problem is, my only selling point to prove that I will not overstay is that I have to return for my convocation. And I felt like this is not a very strong commitment to persuade the officers. If I do manage to get a return offer, which I will only know after July, but I am planning to apply earlier since I assume it is a lengthy process.

And my bank account doesn't seem persuasive enough? Furthermore, upon reading other post of a similar situation as me states that mentioning having a partner is a RED FLAG, but some saying I should be truthful? I am confused, but I leaning on the side of being truthful, as I am mainly going there to visit my gf and tourism.

And they have clearly overpromised and have zero info about Malaysia’s customs process. They just keep giving me those useless responses. Her mother doesn't like her that much but still doesn't let her go outside. Later on she finish diploma and while waiting degree she said her parents doesn't let her work and doesn't even want to give monthly allowance.

I feel bad for her, she just want to release her stress out somewhere but her mom doesn't even let her go anywhere and just say if she broke whatever her mom told her, she wouldn't want to give her allowance or even kick her out.
