Hey everyone! Just wanted to know if anyone else here is an English teacher apprentice under the SKiPPA program? Have you accepted the offer? When and where will you be starting (if you don’t mind sharing)? I’ve been placed in KB and would just like to gauge how many people have taken this position in different districts :)
This thread could also maybe be used for other fellow apprentices to ask around and help each other out!

Hi, just curious if we were to get a work esp in the gov, what are the criteria can be declared as “unfit to work”? Like is there any specific they are looking for? And also that may cause delays?
Ive been applying here and there but since i havent gotten thru interviews or medical fitness part yet. I am curious to know that as well. Atleast I know what to expect and all.

Hi all,
I want to visit this month, but I dont know yet what places or tours are best for wildlife exploring. I really would like to see some wild animals like monkeys. Do you have any good recommendations? And can I do it on my own or is there a good tour company?
Thanl you so much for your help!!

I have not yet started my sixth form, but I have heard that A-levels are tough and challenging, which makes me feel apprehensive about undertaking them. Therefore, I would be grateful for any advice or tips on how to cope, study effectively, and any other relevant suggestions. I would appreciate it! Thank you.
As someone who now resides abroad, I cannot imagine other countries having a similar concept. Imagine if the UK has a White Anglican or USA has a White Protestant national philosophy.
Do you all think MIB still has a place in the modern world?

Why some used car companies asking their customers to pay half/half for insurance? Isn’t it car insurance included with the car price? And also ask customers to take high loan the reason is to pay labor charges supaya approved cepat? Isn’t it illegal to do so?

Hi i'm a graduates of Olevel from 2019 and i want to change my course path to any of the health science courses in politeknik next year, just want to ask:
Good evening! I am currently taking HND in Human Capital Management. Actually not sure why I am stressing about internships, maybe the fear of being unemployed made me so paranoid lol.
I need opinions whether I should do my internship at governments or private companies. Heard bad things about interning arah government ( nada papa kan di buat, duduk duduk, filings).
What companies I should intern at since my course is Human Capital Management?
I actually want to intern arah MPEC or MOFE.. but idk anymore. I would ask my lecturers nanti but I also want to know other people punya experiences interning, maybe that can provide better insights for me.
Thank you in advance!
Hi there, let me just spill some tea—literally and figuratively—about what it’s like being a waiter. Because it’s not all smiles and sambal.
Let’s talk about pay. Spoiler alert: it’s not great. You’re earning minimum wage. So no matter how many plates you carry, how fast you run, or how many times you smile through the chaos, your paycheck stays the same. While your friends are out jalan-jalan, you’re running around trying to keep up with an understaffed restaurant. Forget it, you’re serving other families while missing your own celebrations.
The customers? Mixed bag. Some are nice, but you’ll also get the ones who act like you’re their personal servant. They’ll call you repeatedly (some won’t even say thank you), and sometimes even talk down to you for their own humor. And you can’t talk back, no matter how rude they are, because “the customer is always right.” You’re supposed to smile through it all, right?
Oh yeah, creepy customers making inappropriate comments, coworkers getting too familiar—it’s everywhere, and management doesn’t always care.
Physically, it’s a workout you didn’t sign up for. Your feet ache, your back screams, and by the end of the shift, you feel like you’ve aged 10 years. And when the restaurant closes? You’re still working—cleaning, restocking, mopping floors. Yup, all part of the “experience.”
The worst part? There’s no clear career path. It can feel like a dead-end job. Let’s be real—being a waiter here also comes with judgment. People look at you like, oh, is this all you’re doing with your life? Some don’t see it as a respectable job, even though it is an honest earning. The lack of respect. People treat waiters like we’re beneath them, like we’re not worth basic kindness.
Being a waiter can be rewarding in little ways—like when someone genuinely appreciates your service—but man, it’s not for the weak. You need thick skin, endless patience, and a strong back.
P.S. To the customers who stroll in right before closing: please don’t. We’ve been on our feet all day, and while you’re enjoying your "quick meal," we’re stuck waiting to go home. Dimmed lights, stacked chairs, and bright red CLOSED sign—take the hint! Respect our time and come back tomorrow.
Assalamualaikum and hello everyone, I currently take Arabic classes, but I intend to switch to Halal Science in university. Should I alter my course? Thank you in advance!
Throwaway account here, but like how do Bruneians in general find a date here? Seems almost like mission impossible scenario. I can picture myself doing the tom cruise run trying to find a potential date 😂. Please no hate/judgement. Just a guy genuinely trying to seek a real lasting relationship.
