I need a good spot to take my longtime partner out. It's been a while since we did a formal date so maybe something weird or unique? Or any really good local food recommendations, we both love good food and supporting local businesses. Thanks for any help y'all.
Hello,
I'm looking for any locations surrounding Cedar Bluff that may have a Meeting/Conference Room that can be Reserved.
I've been looking at the Library already but wonder if there's other spots.
Seen off Chapman highway
Spotted on 40 west right before the papermill exit.
Tune in to see some of our counties finest….
My mother passed away yesterday. My sister and I are talking about where to have the service. My mom loved the Tennessee mountains and wanted to move there so badly but it just wasn't in the cards for her. We want to have her memorial service somewhere in the mountains but everywhere I'm seeing is only for weddings. This is a strange request but does anyone know of a place we could hold a small (less than 50 people) memorial service in early February?
We’re not Catholic but we like the tradition of the advent wreath and had them pretty much every year in our old home.
Are there places in Knoxville that sells them? Yes I know we can make one but I would like a pre made one if there’s the option.
Beware - Ijams has free parking signs out today but is writing tickets to people that park without paying.
What are somethings a single woman could do solo around Knoxville? I have a dog that I walk 1-2 hours per day so some things I could bring her along with would be super cool. I’m lonely and looking to get out of the house!
Does anyone have any experience with a handyman or electrician that has done a Govee Pro Outdoor Permanent light installation? I know the install is relatively easy, however, I have a couple of areas that are 2 stories up and places that will need to be spliced. I tried calling some of the Christmas light installers but they use their own lights. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh no! My house has horrible insulation. what are some ways you guys are staying warm during these cold days? Space heaters aren’t doing the job
I know I can take the mattress and boxspring to one of the convince centers but the website doesn't say anything about bedframes. Habitat for Humanity Restore says they don't take mattresses and boxsprings but again stays nothing about bed frames
Anyone seen the guy Pajama pants in market square lately? I Used to work at Cafe4 and he would come in periodically and take the largest poop’s ever and would stink up the entire bathrooms. He would also jump out naked at people walking to the bathrooms and scare the living shit out of them. He was African American and would occasionally be caught browsing around Market Square. Last time I seen him he was wearing an all blue suit, (similar to a hospital gown but also like something out of a mental institution?) this was many months ago but he almost ALWAYS wore pajama pants hints the nickname.
My friend collects magnets when she travels and I was wondering if there is somewhere NOT downtown to get Knoxville ones. West Knox would be preferable.
I searched and only had older results. Any recommendations other than Yee Haw that have Sunday Ticket?
Why is Tennessee School of Beauty’s parking lot lights purple?
Stopped tonight on my way to Nashville. It's out off Kingston Pike just outside of Knoxville. 5 stars. The garlic spicy chicken was the right kind of hot and absolutely delicious. My friends and wife all had different variations of the chicken and loved it. The food arrived fast enough and the pricing was reasonable for the amount of food we received. I will most certainly be going back. You cannot find this kind of fried chicken just anywhere. It's amazing.
I live nearby and finally tried Victor's Tacos on Hardin Valley Rd across from Pellissippi State, next to Arby's. Wonderful! Restaurant is super clean. Plenty of seating. Friendly staff. Awesome food. I got a chicken quesadilla and chicken fries (kinda like nachos over french fries instead of chips). My wife got two open faced things on 5-inch crispy corn tortilla (chalupa? torta? Can't remember what they were called at Victor's). Everything was fresh and yummy. The guacamole on the quesadilla and chicken fries was great. I went to the back cooler and grabbed a squeeze bottle of green hot sauce - excellent. I will be back many times - my wife and I both have several more things on menu we want to try. Really good!
Moved here last year from Minnesota. I have an electric drum set, but I live upstairs in an apartment. Acoustic drums are in MN until I have a place for them here. Do you wanna rock? I (36 m) love to play punk rock, hip hop, classic rock, country western, funk, whatever ya got. I can also play a little bit of bass, and power chords on guitar.
a bit niche but wondering if anyone has experience renting a photo booth for an event in the knoxville area? i googled around but trust folks’ experiences more than companies’ websites
Heading north on Hall of Fame. Skipping and smiling! Glad I finally spotted him.
Fri/sat/sun they have free visit with Santa. Went today and everyone must have been shopping because it was basically an empty zoo with very little people. They did a very nice visit with Santa and Mrs Claus.. no money to take a photo with Santa.. so you can take as many as you want and no upsell of $25 photo packages.
