My husband and I are celebrating our 6th anniversary next week and we will be in Pigeon Forge on November 3-5. I’m looking for suggestions on some budget friendly ideas for us to do while we’re there. We’ve been to the smoky mountains several times and I feel like we usually just browse the parkway or go to touristy museums. I was thinking it might be nice to try something different this time. Any romantic suggestions that aren’t too outdoorsy? Restaurants, attractions, hidden gems, etc?

Anyone else remember the Army/National Guard coming out to the 4th of July parks Celebrations and setting up a machine gun for the kids to fire a few burst of blanks from? That was a fun time, they safely set it up on a try pod with the gun face the creek bed and a safe direction and the kids and teens got to line up and fire 3 to 5 burst rounds that were just blanks.

I’m finding some confusing dates when I look this up and am trying to figure it out before I tell my kids 😂 Do the winterfest lights start the 7th but the walking trail doesn’t start until the 9th? Is this correct? TIA!

Husband forgot to take his coffee moonshine out of his carry on in our mad dash to get out of the cabin.

It is the coffee moonshine from the old forge distillery in the old mill district.

I am asking for someone’s kindness, I would love to see if anyone is willing to purchase the moonshine and ship it to our home. I would pay for the moonshine, shipping, and an extra for your trouble.

I know this is a long shot but he was so disappointed and I would love to surprise him with a replacement.

Haven't been to Pigeon Forge since 90s and early 2000s was curious if their are still a lot of themed bumper boat parks or have they disappeared in favor of race tracks and other attractions?

How's the Mountain Mile Supercharger charging location doing with the area's challenges the last few weeks? We are coming up in a couple weeks from Florida and want to see how realistic it will be to bring the Tesla.

Wife and I are looking to stay for 6 nights in May of next year. We haven't been in 10+ years and miss the mountains. Creekstone on travel sites has pretty good reviews (9/10 on most places) and the price is fantastic. However, the bad reviews are pretty harsh. Is this a good place to stay or are the reviews too generous?

hi! my high school friend group is having a 10 year anniversary reunion this weekend and we got a cabin in pigeon forge. we of course will spend most of our time there catching up (people flying in from all over) but i wanted to ask for recommendations for things we can do saturday during the day.

we are all mid twenties, even mix of boys + girls and are interested in day drinking and having fun.

we didn’t realize there was the slam car thing this weekend and now are nervous things will be crazy. of course we will be patient with traffic but if any locals have any tips on how to navigate this, greatly appreciated! thanks!

I’m going to Pigeon Forge in two weeks (coming from Indiana). The original plan was to then go onto Asheville for two days and finally into Charlotte. Obviously Asheville is not happening (praying for everyone affected by the storm). I still would like to try to go onto Charlotte. Am I going to be able to get to Charlotte from pigeon forge? I have a trip to Pigeon Forge at the beginning of December. I don't exactly know what the situation is up there. Are there any good alternative routes to Pigeon Forge from SC? I don't know if I should cancel or wait and see. Any information would be helpul.

I understand the Pigeon Forge crowds are insane the actual days of the event (Thurs-Sat), and in my experience they thin out very quickly on Sunday. How are the crowds the weekend and weekdays prior to the event? Do crowds typically show up the weekend prior? Tuesday/Wednesday prior?

Hi. I have a cabin rental set up in Pigeon Forge for the October 25th weekend, but I live in Greenville, SC and heard that the roads in NC are bad after hurricane Helene. Does anyone know if there is a safe route to get there or should I postpone my trip until a later time?

Hey all, I’m going to be traveling to Pigeon Forge from NYC area this Thursday, will be splitting the drive in half staying overnight somewhere along the way.

The question, with all the hurricane damage is there somewhere on that route I could donate some supplies for those who were affected by the storm/ flooding?

Primarily was going to focus on doing water.
