Two jets flew over the stadium at like 2:50pm today, and I didn’t hear or see a flyover before kickoff.
It's a new week on /r/ockytop. If you're new to the community here, welcome! We're a pretty laid back group, but please check out our rules here. If you haven't been to Neyland Stadium before or if you need a refresher, please checkout our Guide to Gameday.
This thread is for any mildly on-topic discussion regarding sports. Our dedicated discussion posts are Sunday (for in-depth discussion and analysis of the previous game), Thursday (for anyone looking for or hosting a tailgate, or viewing party, or game planning in general), and Friday (free talk). Go Vols!
tl;dr we have to hope lsu loses another conference game, probably alabama
scenario 1: lsu and ut win out, and so does texas, beating tamu
all have 7-1 conference records and no head-to-head matchups
common conference opponents would be: arkansas, florida, oklahoma, and vanderbilt
lsu would be 4-0 against common conference opponents
ut would be 3-1 against common conference opponents
texas would be 4-0 against common conference opponents with lsu
result: lsu-texas seccg
scenario two: lsu and ut win out, and so does tamu, who beats texas
all have 7-1 conference records, but tamu beat lsu in their head-to-head, so they get the spot over lsu
common conference opponents for lsu and ut for the away team spot would be: alabama, arkansas, florida, oklahoma, and vanderbilt
lsu would be 5-0 against common conference opponents
ut would be 4-1 against common conference opponents
result: tamu-lsu seccg
if lsu wins out, we do not get an seccg berth even if we also win out because of our loss to arkansas
please correct me if i missed something or made a mistake
Dude has been so clutch!
The statue shall be called “the walk-on.” And will be a beacon of hope to alll of us who don’t run a 4.4 40 😂.

GBO 🍊
No turnovers, almost 300 yards, a TD, would have had more if we hadn’t dropped some easy catches. Really came through for us tonight
General post-game discussion goes here. As usual.
Theres zero doubt that Neyland stadium is loder than any other college stadium. At max cap there is no comparison.

It's all well and good to mix things up occasionally, but I haven't heard the normal version in at least a month. This slow nonsense doesnt get anyone amped up.
At Daytona for the historic 24 hour race but still watching the Vols.
Whenever we play Tennessee Bingo, we win. We play Tennessee Bingo today!

Do y'all know of any vegetarian options other than nacho chips and pretzels at Neyland Stadium?
Specifically family to family, if that’s still a thing. Figured I’d ask here before I request info from the school.
Hey guys, I’m in Green Bay for the weekend since I’m a diehard Packers fan as well (Go Pack Go!). Does anyone know of any bars in Green Bay that shows the Vols games?
WAKE UP AND BLACK OUT, it’s game day!
Use this thread to discuss all non-Tennessee games.
Howdy all,
First timer here for game day. Need some help/recs on transportation
I looked up the shuttle from downtown market square (near our hotel) . How reliable is the shuttle and what is ride time on way back after game ?
Cash lots? Are there any cash lots near the stadium we could drop a car off at?
We have a few older folks that can’t make that 3/4 mile walk from stadium to down town .
Thank you for all you suggestions

So there I was, strapped to the bed, motor oil smeared all over my body, as she walks in with a horse saddle and jumper cables, and all I can think about is WAKE UP ITS GAME DAY
Title says it, I don't want Barnes to ever retire, but Danny White has shown he absolutely loves an offensive power house...who do we go after when Barnes hangs it up??
Not strictly Vol related but I think it fits. Mods please don’t ban me if it doesn’t.
