It’s been probably 2-3 years since I last watched an anime and I miss it. I just suddenly stopped watching one and idk why…. I would really like some recommendations.
I loved naruto, aot, fairy tail, code geass, another, parayste, death note, seraph of the end, and tokyo ghoul (those are the only shows I can remember rn). any recommendations similar to those or animes that you think is really good will be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance! (。’▽’。)♡
So I have been reliving the film as I have been trying to write about it for its symbolism and themes, and then after rewatching the movie, I start to realize how much I appreciate it as it's one of my favorite anime films for its eccentric nature.
Basically my point is that I have been wondering if there has been another anime film or series that can mimic the movie's bizarre nature as I miss Satoshi Kon, and despite his passing, I don't wish to retire from Anime itself, but rather my goal is to pursue more surreal anime works that again are kind of like the movie itself.
Me recomiendan animes porfa ?
Enjoy!
So earlier this year I've watched a couple of episodes of this anime but for the life of me I cannot find it again. What I remember is: • That it was centered around a music bands/idol contest. • The main characters, part of one of the bands were 2 guys and a girl I think. • It was a pretty recent anime • It was super colorful and occasional had this "neon aesthetic" going on • Characters were super fashionable and some looked androgynous • It was a pretty short anime.
That's about all I remember. I tried finding it all day long and to no avail :((
Please help!
I remember watching an anime on a white vhs tape when i was younger. The intro music was " https://youtu.be/VrATMdEsr1I?si=NmAS2V8hpLUf2g6Y "
I remember a girl going into a building being destroyed by a tornado or something. 2 sisters battling each other until one dies by her heart being ripped out or something by the other sister. A crazy guy with wires all on his head. The girls in the futuristic suits were also battling in the sky with skyscrapers around also. Didn't look to be in space either.
I know the show has many episodes but they don't look like the vhs movie i watched. I've been searching for YEARS.
Looking for a title or anything that can point me in the direction of finding what this series was. All I can remember is a crash scene involving a male and female character whether robots or race cars or race car driving robots or something of the like. They have a huge crash and end up in a mangled heap with a communal heartbeat. That's all I've got folks. Anyone know?

Questions of the Day

I love anime like Rising of the Shield Hero, Spirit Chronicles, Wise Man's Grandson, World's Finest Assassin reincarnated as an aristrocat, Assassin's Pride. I have watched a lot of anime at this point and I didnt write any of them up. I'm definetly regretting it now.
Can you guys just recommend me something good... I can't find anything old thats good. I just watch few anime from the ones that come out this season, and I read the whole manga for Spirit Chronicles, Wise Man's Grandson
Can you find me an anime in which the protagonist has summoning powers and can summon demons such as a blind serpent/snake and a monkey like demon that can read minds? I saw this cartoon on tiktok the other day and it has been on my mind ever since. I like how he killed four out of five of his enemies since one teleported away.
Queria sugestões de animes nessa temática de pessoa inteligente/gênio com investigação criminal. Pode ser algo fantasioso mas que não seja muito infantil, tipo com gente de cabelo rosa ou caricato demais.
All my cousins keep telling me I should watch this or I should watch that when talking about anime but I want to start easy so what should be my first ever anime series to watch?
I’ve posted in the tip of my tongue sub Reddit here in case you experts know anything
I can’t for the life of me, remember the name of the anime or the name of the main characters
I know for a fact that it was about ghost apartment complex. Something about gateway to the spirit world in the basement. And the apartment complex itself drawing ghost to it.
I believe the main characters were a little boy and a little girl. Brother and sister I believe.
And they had to deal with the ghost
I remember watching this during the early 2000s to 2010s-towards the 2010 because I believe I was still in school
I also believe that I watch this off of Hulu or Netflix somewhere
If you guys have any idea what it is, please let me know. I remember loving this show and really want to see it again

I saw a clip of an anime on this subreddit a number of years ago and I deeply regret not writing down the anime name. My memory of the clip is very vague but I'm hoping y'all can help!
The clip was about how a certain side character who was the ultimate bro. It was a compilation of all the times he would take the hit (mostly physical hits) and make the sacrifice so that the MC's relationship with the female love interest could move along unimpeded. Bro was always part of a group of indistinct background characters (all guys) who always call out Bro's name whenever he takes the hit and mourn that he's the recipient of misfortune and injury (they think it's just bad luck and don't realize he sacrificed himself). All I can remember from the clip was that the main core of male/female characters and the large group of background guys (including bro) were walking up stone stairs along some kind of high cliff or cave that had a large pool of water at the bottom. They were all in swimwear so they were either exploring during a beach day or going cliff jumping? Something like that. Anyway, something happens (maybe a rock falls that is heading for MC or a something) and Bro once again takes the hit, gets knocked off the stairs, and plunges into the water below while the faceless background guys all scream "Oh noooo (insert Bro's Name)!"
That's it. Super vague. Thanks in advance for anyone who has any ideas!

These are the sequences for discussion today:
A daily question
Do you prefer Lemon beach house or South Wind beach house?
Or for an alternative question, which beach house better utilises Squid Girl?
First, let's occupy this place!
The favourite character of the rewatch (so far):
Current Position | Character | Support | Peak Position |
---|---|---|---|
1 (+) | Squid Girl | 4 (+) | 1 |
2 | Nagisa | 3.5 | 1 |
3 (-) | Chizuru | 3 (-) | 1 |
4 (+) | Sanae | 1 | 3 |
4 (+) | Eiko | 1 (+) | 4 |
6 (-) | Mini Ika | 0.5 (-) | 4 |
Characters with no support don't get to be in the table. And now I ask the same again.
I've thought about how repetitive it could get answering the same question every day. So I'm keeping a record of who said what and your previous answers will carry forward until you leave a different one. Hope that makes sense.

I’ve been looking for this anime ever since i watched it on Netflix a while back. (i swear i watched on Netflix, but there’s a limited chance I watched it on some random website.)
From what i remember, there was a group of people and they had like this organization thing. They fought against aliens (or robots??) outside of a huge wall that surrounded their base.
Take this one with a grain of salt, but i THINK there may have been some 3D animation use in it. If anyone has any clue, by all means, share what you think!
(The closest i found to anything like it was Spriggan, and even then, im not sure that’s what it was.)

I remember her being an shinigami and her words had powers, so she was most in silence through the whole thing. It's quite an old anime, back then it got popular because of that specific scene where she says "die" and the other girl begins to be destroyed. Does anyone remember the name of the anime?
Something like dazai from Bungou stray dogs or no longer allowed in another world, when they constantly talk about their depression and have suicidal tendencies. Or just when characters are nihilistic
I don't even know why i want to find it but now im just trying to scratch that itch in my brain and Google is filled with shity ai.
Its a man with a huge colourful coat its its open (i cant rember if hes shirtles underneath) im prety sure he has cat paws or something might also have a biker helmet.
I know thats a horble discription but .....tnx🙂👍
I've heard from people that the anime is good. But BL bothers me. I think Yuichiro and Mikaela are the leading characters. If they're gay, I don't want to watch it. Is only one of them Gay? Is BL shown too much?
I can’t recall if this was a movie or anime, but I’m pretty sure it was anime. All I can remember is there is a battle going on with modern day weapons. Two guys are running together. I can’t remember if they know there is a portal or one just opens up but they rush for it. Just as they get to the portal there is an explosion that thrusts the lead guy in and the other guy back. The guy who didn’t make it in eventually gets in. Many years/decades passed in that short time. His friend is much older and is a seasoned warrior. I think I remember him holding resentment because he feels like his friend intentionally took so long to come through, not realizing the time difference.
Anyways..I hope someone can help!
edit I’m sorry the details are pretty vague. I don’t mean to waste anyone’s time but am hoping someone can piece the rest of it together. I suffered a pretty bad head injury and a lot of my memories are damaged. I feel very strongly though that THIS is a real show
This us supposed to be Hermes house but it looks so out of place looks like Ai generated art. It was only 2 seconds but feels alarming that Ai art will be in production

I see it a lot everywhere. From pics, I’m thinking it’s like Jiujitsu Kaisen. The Naruto type. A kid who has demons and must come to terms with them. I’ve heard good things about episode 7. A top rated episode next to Arcane.
It’s one of those animes I haven’t gotten to, is it diff?
I am looking for dark fantasy anime without child leads but I'm also okay with sci-fi and mystery with dark themes.
example: Ergo Proxy, 91 Days, ID: Invaded, Psycho-Pass, Witch Hunter Robin, Serial Experiments Lain etc (I know almost all of them are Sci-Fi but I can't seem to find any fantasy ones)
