I already searched and listened to the official soundtrack couldn't find anything I thought maybe it's deleted because of copyright or something idk.
So I tried finding an anime here about a year ago or so but even though I got great feedback on the post none of the suggestions seemed right.
Back then I thought it was a card anime (might still be) but I'm kind of starting to doubt it as I can't find anything relevant when searching for card animes.
Anyway, it's probably pretty old as I remember it from when I was young and I'm nearing 30. What I can remember is we follow some kid, who in the first episode gets hold of a box (slim & rectangular iirc) sealed with ceremonial ropes or the like, probably to keep a curse/some magic in.
Kid ofc opens the box even though he shouldn't have and releases said curse/magic. There is some battling included in the show and if it's cards, the cards summon "dragons" based on the five elements in eastern belief (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water & wood). If it's not cards it might be they are transported to some other dimension to fight but the same still stands that they fight with these elemental "dragons". Felt like they leaned pretty heavy on the element side of the battles as the "dragons" were weak to the other elements as one can see displayed in the, for lack of a better term, element star.
Sidenote: I say "dragons" but I can't really remember their shapes more than that they were probably more like eastern dragons i.e more serpent like. Also the cards may not have been paper playing cards but rather made of wood, but that might just be me going crazy here.
Also, list of shows it's not:
If it is a better couple or teenage love

I LOVE howls moving castle. I think it’s so healing to watch and absolutely love the storyline. I read the book too which adds to the experience every time I watch it. It’s the best!!
I also liked watching spirited away and castle in the air. They were so beautiful to watch and I’m not sure if it’s the animation or the amount of detail which went in to the movies, but they are beautiful and I will always rewatch and never get tired of them.
Does anyone know anything similar to these? It could be a series as well. I’ve watched a few of the movies from dragon ball z which is super interesting and I loved them too!
Hey everyone ! So I been thinking about this anime, that has been stuck in my mind lately and I can’t find it, it’s been a really long time since I seen it, or at least I might have seen it. I don’t know if it exists but i need help if anyone doesn’t mind !
The beginning starts off with the day being in the afternoon with a male character listening to music on a cd player I think, and they are walking around the street until a female character was running, jumps on something and then crashes/lands on the male character.
I think this is a music type of anime or a slice of life, but that’s the best description I can give so far, I just want to know if this anime exists and I appreciate very much for the help too !
Watched it done in one day i loved it, i love this trope. Would love anything similar! Nothin thats violent or has much fan service i don't like that!
I use Crunchyroll btw.
I do prefer girl mc but dont mind others
after not watching anime for 2 years and I was blown away by the concept and really loved it so much but for now it’s unfinished and I need an anime recommendation to watch that isn’t boring from start to finish, thank you.

Hello everybody, time for the Comment of the Day, courtesy of u/Great_Mr_L 'Cause I asked for weird dreams and I got one:
As a child, I once dreamed that I was a student at Hogwarts. Some friends of mine were there as well. For some reason I looked completely different from how I normally looked when I saw my reflection. There was a monster roaming around that literally looked like a 5 year old had drawn it in crayon. The rest of the world looked normal, but not that monster. It made a sound like a jaw harp's boing sound effect you'd hear in cartoons. Also Palpatine was there for some reason and he could make those sounds to summon the monster. It was weird.
Honestly for the most part it wasn't too weird but then the Emperor popped up and I'm like
Do you have any sort of acting experience?

I've had this video on my phone for a while and finally want to watch this anime
ik that sounds really bizarrely specific, but I'm just wondering if there are any animes out there maybe I could relate to as a young woman in her 20s? not about college life, but about entering the workforce preferably.
So ion remember much but I remember there being a trap character with long green hair and a full white outfit with a big white hat aswell, could've been a mage aswrll but I ain't sure, watched it like 4 or 5 years ago I think.
I saw an anime clip which is about a not very poor woman trying to buy ramen while another guy is eating already and the seller asks if she have money and she says for sure showing him some coins So the seller said to her (Are you kidding me this is not enough to buy a cup of noodles) And i forgot the name of the anime in the caption And the drawing style didn’t look too old or new
I cannot recall which anime it was but in one episode the main character mentions the ahoge hair strain as "Deppenantenne". Does anyone remember which Anime it is?
As the title say, which do you think is the worse villian of the 3?
Ibara from Dr stone Flamingo from one piece Melty from shield hero?
In my opinion, the 3 of them could be siblings. I would say though Define tied between the first and last.
Hi guys. Kinda new to anime, so looking for some great recomendations. I loved: Hells paradise Overlord Solo leveling (my favorite) Mashle One punch man (2nd favorite) My hero academia JJK

#Rewatch: 3-episode rule 1960s anime – Wonder 3 (episode 1)
##Wonder 3 (1965)
##Production trivia
After Astro Boy, the next series is also an Osamu Tezuka anime, made by Mushi Production, with an accompanying manga also by Tezuka. In this case, however, the first manga episode predates the first anime episode by only three months, so this is more of a concurrent project than following up on a past successful manga.
While director and studio stay the same, Wonder 3 is not the second TV anime.* Between Astro Boy’s start in 1963 and Wonder 3’s start in 1965, a handful of other anime released, made by Toei Animation (the studio Tezuka broke away from), Tokyo Movie Shinsha, and Eiken. All three studios would go on to make more famous series later on, but jumped in on the anime hype train by producing mostly scifi series in the wake of Astro Boy.
*but the next full Mushi TV anime. They had some films and inserts in between. Astro Boy and Wonder 3.

##Show Information:
(First-timers may want to consider staying out of Show Information until we are done, however.)
###Legal Streams:
(As per livechart.me (though something may have been bugging when I grabbed it for Yuusha no Shou...); additional legal streams may be available outside the US.)
###What about Great Mankai Chapter?
Likely coming in late February as a second stage of this rewatch continuation, but I need to be able to confirm continued interest and nail down the schedule before committing.
Coming as a Part 3 planned to start on February 24 - see below for more details, with a proper announcement thread going up in the next 24 hours.
###A Reminder to Rewatchers:
I would like to remind you: please do not spoil the experience for our first-timers!
There is one exception to this: As this rewatch is covering prequels/sequels only and all viewers are expected to either have been in YuYuYu proper or have seen the show on their own time and thus be familiar with YuYuYu's plot points, Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru S1 plot points are not considered spoilers in the context of this rewatch and are considered fair game to talk about outside of spoiler tags, just like discussion of S1 plot points would be in episode discussion threads for an airing sequel. (Or in other words, we will be treating YuYuYu spoilers exactly like Mai-HiME spoilers were in Mai-Otome or Madoka Magica plot points were in MagiReco.)

#Remember to tag your spoilers!
When discussing future events or foreshadowing, or any differences between the manga and the anime, please remember to use spoiler tags.
I want to watch short animes, the genre doesn't matter.
Hi, can't remember the name of an anime, it was sci-fi and had a Male humanoid alien from a higher dimension.
A plane went missing along with its passengers in an early episode. The alien wanted to bring humankind its higher technology to help end wars, and make things more energy efficent.
There was also a young man that befriended the alien first, and later a young female was sent to negotiate with him and the alien.
Hope that's good enough!
Here's what I remember about the anime:
The anime begins with the male protagonist graduating from high school (or possibly moving to university). During this transition, he visits his grandfather’s grave in his village. Upon arriving, he discovers the grave has been dug up and the corpse stolen. He reports this to the village mayor (or perhaps goes to the grave first after speaking to the mayor—details are fuzzy). While waiting at the gravesite, corpses from nearby graves reanimate and attack him.
At this moment, the female protagonist appears. She secretly observes the male protagonist to determine whether he possesses hidden powers or can wield them. She approaches him but refuses to help. When the male protagonist is pushed to his limits, he unleashes lightning-based powers. The female protagonist then realizes he is the grandson of the man whose corpse was stolen.
Additional Details:
I want to watch an anime, that has some creepy and dark parts in it. Not just regular horror, with monsters and gore and stuff, I just want to watch a scene, where I genuinely cant watch anymore without pausing.
Anyone got recommendations?
