T-Mobile or Verizon? I’m at the end of my contract and T-Mobile offers a good deal on a phone through my company contract, but I’ve only used Verizon. I’m honestly not thrilled with Verizon since it went to 5g. The last time this was asked was 2 years ago.
Hey I’m a 25M moving for a job in Dubuque. Looking for roommates to sign a lease starting in January. PM me for more info!
Is there a Spanish language music scene anywhere nearby? If so, where do shows happen? I dug the music at latinx festival earlier this fall and I was under the impression that most of those artists were local...
Does anyone know of any cat groomers nearby? Even if it's not in Dubuque just relatively close (within 30 minutes maybe?) I would appreciate any recommendations or suggestions. Google has not been so helpful.
I have been applying for jobs all over. Still in the process of getting one! But in the mean time, I’d love to make some money!
Good at cleaning and organization. Anyone need any help??
In town for T-giving. Any indoor tracks to run/walk on that are open to the public? A bit too chilly for Heritage Trail.
Anyone in the area that doesn't have a season pass for Sundown that would like to take advantage of the Half off lift pass deal tomorrow? My regular buddy can't make it out and it's no fun riding alone.
Looking for things to do, places to visit, activities to do, bars to visit, or even any food recommendation for this weekend in Dubuque. Also is there like a farmers market on the weekends?
Fellow single folks, how has dating been for you? Any luck with dating apps? Or places to go to meet single people?
So just getting information about how big this power outage is. So where else is power out and any information about time it gets established would be appreciated.
This is kind of a shot in the dark here. I have a web application idea that I've been working on. I developed a prototype but lack the technical expertise to do it properly. I have more of a business background. Looking to see if there's a couple web developers in the area would like to team up and see if we can make something work.
Hi guys. From out of town looking to get my hair cut with layers and bangs and possibly dyed. Know of a good place? Last guy I went to wasn’t good at following directions or examples from photos…
I'll be taking my driving test later in the year and wanted to know if any one who has taken it in Dubuque has any tips or know what the test/instructors are like or what the typical routes are? Any advice helps.
Thank you!

I’m starting work soon in Dubuque, and have been looking online for gyms in the area. Anybody know of any local private gyms (aside from the CrossFit gyms I’ve found online) ?
What do you love about Dubuque and what do you not like so much? I am considering a move there to be closer to family. I’ve visited once and noticed that the people are friendly and the town seems clean. It’s otherwise kind of anywheresville. What makes Dubuque special? Best coffee shops, outdoor activities, family centered activities, music venues (are there any?)? Is it a good place to raise kids? My biggest worry is the weather as I am from a moderate climate.
Is it worth stopping by the bridge on Kelly lane to cast a couple times in the creek?
Hi! We will be visiting Dubuque in early January for 2 nights. We are looking for an area to stay that has some mellow night life choices (we are in our late 40's) and good dining options, preferably within walking distance. We plan on using uber to get to the casinos, so that is also an option, if necessary.
We were thinking somewhere near the Millwork District. Would we be better off somewhere else?
If you have any recommendations for inside daytime activities, those would also be appreciated!
Looking forward to visiting!
I've moved here recently and DDR/similar games is my favorite way to get my exercise in. Is there anywhere here that I could go?

Anyone have a good dry cleaner for wool and cashmere pieces? I brought mine to giant laundromat behind Panera last year and they literally said “we aren’t supposed to take these since we messed up peoples before”. Didn’t instill the most confidence in me. Thanks!!
Does any restaurant have lake perch on their menus? Called most suggested first, still no perch.
Hello!
We are currently recruiting young adults aged 18-30 to take part in our no-cost sleep coaching study. The purpose of this study is to test whether specialized sleep coaching sessions that focus on the science of habit formation can help people who have difficulty getting to sleep at night, difficulty waking up or getting out of bed in the morning, and feel sleepy during the day. We are hoping that this research study will result in a sleep treatment that will help many people who have these types of sleep problems.
This study is really exciting because we’re offering free sleep coaching with therapists who have specialized training in sleep therapy at UC Berkeley. This is a unique opportunity to get access to no-cost sleep coaching for those struggling with their sleep. Eligible individuals will receive compensation for completing each part of the study (four 60-90 minute Zoom interviews, 7 days of wearing a sleep watch, and 7 days of completing online surveys). Additional information provided upon phone screening. The study is entirely remote.
If you are interested in learning more, please contact us by email at sleepteamucb@gmail.com, or via phone at (510) 473-6490. You can find more information about our lab and this study at the following link: https://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~ahsleep/gbsmrc_mock/sleep-habits-study/
