    Broken tail light cover

Please I’m freaking out, is it illegal to drive with a broken tail light cover (the red plastic part)? The light works, it’s just the covering I busted!

Swanky’s Taco Shop in Germantown closing its doors…

Swanky’s will always have a place in my heart. They will be closing its doors at the Carrefour plaza due to it being demolished. But the one in east Memphis will continue to be open.

    Still very sad though.

Best walk in clinic in East Memphis/Pleasant Acres?

Visitor from Middle Tennessee! My students gave me their germs and it set in while we’re down here visiting, so I was wondering what your best walk in clinics are? We’re off 240 and 72 (I used google maps to see that we’re in pleasant acres area… I think.)

Also, shoutout to everybody I’ve interacted with so far! You guys are so much nicer than Nashville <3

Who Makes the Best Spicy Cheladas/Micheladas in town?

I’ve been on a serious Chelada kick the past month and looking to get some great, fresh ones around town. Any bars/restaurants come to mind?

Do you have Farm Bureau insurance? How do you like it?

Currently have USAA for home and auto. I’ll be honest them Farm Bureau commercials get me everytime. Cost wise are they comparable to others. Really love USAA, customer service is great. But, prices have really gone up. Just wanted to see if Farm Bureau is as great as those commercials. Going to get a quote to compare nonetheless

    Hey drivers

When it's pouring down rain turn your lights on. It’s not saving you any goddamn gas to run without them. And get off your cellphone, you are not that important! Edit: It’s for It

For educational purposes only. No more. No less

Got this flyer from MLG&W and it had this illustration on it so I thought I’d post it in case anyone has any current or future plumbing issues where this definition might be obscured or misunderstood and could possibly delay them in getting the issue resolved.

    shelby farms park buffalo?

how easy is it to see them? do you have to walk the trail or can you drive by/drive close and walk? i’m happy to do a trail, but trying to utilise time - we’ve only got a one day stop on a road trip in memphis and there’s so much great stuff to see! i love buffalo and we don’t have them in my country so i’d really love to see them here! thank you!

    Unique gift unveiling

Looking for a way to surprise, at all once, a small group of people with the same gift. Was thinking like a power point type thing or voice over style thing but no clue how to go about it

    Sam’s Deli closed?

It says on google that it’s temporarily closed. I know they aren’t open on Mondays and Tuesdays, but it looks like it’s something more than that. What’s going on? :(

    Good Drywall recommendation

Hey guys, just looking for a good recommendation for someone to repair drywall at my home. I had a busted pipe in the ceiling and the plumber had to cut out parts of it out. Thanks for your help, go Grizz!

    Drawing Lessons

    Mornin' 901 fam!

Throwing this out there for some more experienced people to comment on, or more in the know-

I was looking to take some drawing lessons (classic stuff like sketching, anatomy, etc.) and was wondering if anyone knows people who teach/classes/orgs that offer this maybe? I had some lessons a few years ago pre-COVID but it was through a mutual friend, sadly they moved away.

    Memphis Subscriptions

Its coming to that time of year where my family demands me to provide a list of things I want.

Are there any local subscription based things here in memphis? I saw firehouse meal service, but I was thinking like bakery or pies or something of the like.

Also since Ive been here, a dashcam is #1 on my list.

    Lab grown diamonds

Anyone have any recommendations or know of anyone that sells lab grown diamond and engagement rings in Memphis?

I know pretty well who the players I would trust online are so I’m not asking that.

Second, if anyone has experience getting a local jeweler to set a loose label grown diamond that would be appreciated too.

    Thanks 😌

    Driving in the turn lane

Lort help this city and prolly all cities but man, can we put a PSA out on all the news channels letting people know turn lanes aren't runaways for hauling a$$ down so you can cut someone off. Folks need to start hitting those organic Oregon smokes bc this dirty backyard stuff is melting brains.

    Former Wolfchase Cheesecake Factory

What do you guys think the former Cheesecake Factory at the Wolfchase mall should be next now that it’s been permanent closed for over 5 months..

I’d be damned if it’s another sushi or seafood place.

    Memphis drivers

Are we really at the point where a curve in the road is now considered a “danger” to drivers? I get that the open manhole is not safe, but maybe just don’t drive off the road? The speed limit on this segment of the road is 25mph and there is literally a sign alerting drivers that there is a curve in the road.

    Tried Petals of Peony tonight

Really enjoyed the spicy dumplings and kung pao chicken. The spicy crispy chicken had good flavor, but didn’t have a sauce, which is my preference. I think most Americans that eat Chinese prefer sauces, so I’d suggest confirming what you’re ordering at least has a sauce. Obviously this place is Sichuan, so it’s going to be different than what most people are used to. We will definitely be going back to try some more things.
