This is so crazy to me! Over the last decade Dodge built a brand around big V8 muscle cars. These people do not care about the environment, because their hobby and climate advocacy are literally antithetical to one another.
I understand if Dodge is being pushed into the EV world due to regulation, and I understand them trying to convince their existing clientele that EVs are the future of performance vehicles.
…what I don’t understand is why they’re trying to tout the environmental impact as a benefit to people who literally do not care about that. All this ad does is remind the people who do not want this car why exactly it exists!
I’ll be the first person to talk about how impressive EVs can be, but cmon man. You don’t need a degree in marketing to know this campaign is a bad idea 😂
Looking at a 2003 dodge dakota, 5.9 crew cab 4x4, but the switch says awd where you would normally find 2 hi. I didn't know these existed until I test drove the truck and so I'm wondering if it should be avoided.
Looking to finance one this winter , is it worth the money?
It's about time
Stellantis CEO resigns as carmaker continues to struggle with slumping sales
2019 Dodge 1500 I'm trying to do the brake pads on my dodge. I got right into it, got to the point of needing to compress the caliper on the first tire. Caliper would not compress. I looked up a video about doing dodge brakes. Apparently I need to put the brakes into service mode through the settings. When I attempt to do that, it says service mode unavailable, please try again. Doesn't matter how many times I try, it always says that and I don't even know if that's what's preventing the caliper from going in. I opened the brake fluid cap on the other side of the caliper to try to reduce pressure in the line, fluid comes out but it doesn't seem like the caliper is going in any.
Hi! I’m looking to buy my father a performance chip for his challenger
It’s a 2021 Dodge Challenger R/T Scatpack, do any of you have some recommendations?
This might sound super dumb, so I apologize in advance.
2015 Grand Caravan SE. Super basic (no power doors/lift gate, only power windows are the front two, etc).
My side view mirrors have the heated icon on them, but I don't think they are. I've never noticed any difference when I turn on the defrost. I always just assumed that at some point someone had to replace them and used whatever they could find.
Is there a surefire way to tell if I have them or not? If I dont, is there a way to hook them up so now I do? I know a lot of Dodge vehicles have the wiring in place for things so all you need to do is go out and get the little extras to plug in.
Thank you!
Just hit 255,163 miles and truck still runs great. No check engine lights and gets over 20 miles to the gallon on the highway. Bought in 2011 with around 24,000 miles on the clock. It’s been a great daily driver but it is gutless that’s a fact 😂. It’s really surprising that it has done this well from all the complaints I read after buying the thing. Not all of these 3.7’s are a POS. Shout out to The_Richuation here on Reddit for solving the intermittent starting issue. Happy Holidays Y’all !
Any hellcats under 50k?
Regarding my last post https://www.reddit.com/r/Dodge/s/RZM0mnQpsZ , She's Alive! Driving very well on a predator tune but planning to custom tune after breaking the cam in for a couple hundred miles. I appreciate you all. All questions, comments, suggestions, etc are welcome and appreciated. Thanks guys!
I made mistake and ordered the wrong flow master super 10 for my charger pursuit 5.7 hemi. The original muffler is an offset in and out , the one I ordered is an inline . Does anyone have any ideas to fix this without having to send it back and getting a new one? Exhaust flex pipe has crossed my mind Also the only thing I have found about why they used offset was for road clearance, by putting an inline muffler on the car should I have any sort of airflow of any other issue ?
I fixed lower control arms and ball joints this sounds comes and goes every blue moon what can it be ??? Also might start happening again after a long ride 30 mins or so
I am a life long judoka. Unfortunately, my gym is 30 minutes away while taking the highway. Right now, I drive an old 06 accord... If I upgrade to a challenger scat pack, is getting to the gym in half the time a reasonable goal? Thanks
Don't mind the rags. Just washed her
Anyone get this on their dodge? Trying to figure out what to pay for a 49K hornet.
Dodge Charger RT 2022.
Right exhaust, I had got my resonators removed a couple months ago in that spot... Had the shop remove the resonators, and weld a new pipe to it for better sound.
I am just confused how this happened?
Like I am driving down the road, and all of a sudden I hear a noticeable difference in my exhaust note, and I park and check what's going on in the back under the car and see that it's literally cracked in half.
Took it back to the shop that did the work, and they made me pay $110 to fix it and re weld it claiming that I somehow "hit/scraped/pushed in the exhaust pipe while driving/parking which caused it to break in half???"
Just a crazy thing for them to say, but I needed it fix so I paid them and got them to do the rework.
Needless to say I won't be going to these guys no more, or suggesting them to anyone else lmao.
Just curious of people’s experiences as far as reliability, value, drive feel, sound, other options?? Not planning on taking it to the track or anything, I just have my SP as a weekend car just wanna add a little sauce 💥 without dropping $15-20K
