Is it better to buy new longhorn or used limited?
Both 2024. 2024 limited [bright white clearcoat] with 11000 miles (ram certified pre-owned) $62,495 2024 longhorn new [delmonico red] $67,500
Which is better choice?
Thank you
This might be a long shot, but wondering if anyone has any ideas or has had a similar issue.
When getting up to around 70-75mph on the freeway I start to hear a chirping/squeaking coming from under the steering wheel and pedal area like down by where my feet are. Doesn’t do it when I’m just driving around town but only once I get up to freeway speeds.
Again I know it’s a long shot but any diagnostics? Would rather try some things and have some ideas before sending it to a mechanic.
I just bout a 2500 with 17 inch wheels. I am gonna keep the stock wheels for my winter tires what sizes are y’all running? I was hoping for a bit more height than stock. Also any brands you guys like?
Mildly curious if you've run over anything with your truck and how your RAM handled it!
I got the truck used and noticed both the bottom and top glove box lights are not working, is their a specific fuse I should look into or could it be a different issue?
I have a 2014 Cummins with air brake, air bags, 5th wheel, goose, and ball and pintle.
My issue is pulling my excavator (Kubota 057-5), around 12-13k lbs with a trailer sufficient enough to comfortably carry it while also stay as close to my trucks frame limitations.
How do I approach this safely, what trailer set up options should I consider?
I am assuming a 5th or goose would be the best due to the load location but I am not too sure. Found a few 10-25ton ball/pintle setups online as well.
Just upgraded to a 2020 Ram 1500 from a 2004 Ram 1500. What a difference 16 years makes. Love both of these!
Went for a recall and picked up same day. Checked my dash cam cuz there was a new scratch on my rear fender. Found out 3 employees of the dealership brought the car out for a “fun drive”. Floored more than 10 times, countless revs, put in track mode, try to do burnout, and tried launch control at the parking lot. Won’t really care if they did a few revs but this is way too far… Not to mention they called me an Asian Mf**ker😅 Everything was filmed by the dash cam. Talked to service GM and still waiting for results. Would reporting this to mopar do anything cuz it’s a private dealer? Don’t care about getting compensated just trying to prevent this from happening to someone else. How would you handle it?
So I have a 2016 ram rebel 1500. I noticed today that the rear right passenger was higher than the other three wheels. I tried resetting the air suspension module by holding the two buttons for 30 seconds to reset it and when I did, it came up with a message on the screen saying service air suspension system. I then checked the 40A (F05) fuse which seemed to be okay. I have not disconnected the negative terminal from the battery at this time which people say may help it. I find it very strange that three out of the four compressors may be working potentially. I'm not sure if anyone has had this issue or has any troubleshooting tips. At this time it's just flashing on the air suspension screen and staying still and not moving at all and stuck.
I’ve seen people say 5-7k between changes 5.7 hemi 145k strong. I do mine every 3500
Ad on Facebook says the ABS light is on due to wiring. Priced at $6200 with 170,000 kms (110,000 miles).
Worth it?
Never owned a Dodge truck but looking for something relatively cheap to drive around the bush for work. I'll check the frame for rust, engine for noise. Anything else to consider?
Brand new truck with only 300 kilometers on it already in the shop with battery problems. Hemi with etorque technology.
Stopped charging battery while driving on the highway. Limped to the dealer with just 11.2v left in the battery.
After initial diagnostics it seems the problem is with failed etorque.
Any insights what am I looking at here, is this a common problem? Thanks.
I have a 2019 ram classic so it’s still the 4th gen body style. Looking to upgrade my dash speakers but I can’t find anything online on about what size they are for some reason.
