A subreddit for those who love Dodge Chargers!
The Dodge Charger LD is a rear-wheel drive four-door automobile introduced in February 2005. Built by Chrysler for its North American Dodge brand, the car was created to continue the Dodge Charger line, and replaced the Dodge Intrepid as Dodge's full-size sedan. Dodge Charger (2006-2010) shares the L platform with the Chrysler 300, the newer third-generation Dodge Challenger, and the discontinued Dodge Magnum.

Hi everyone, I own a 2016 Charger R/T Plus (5.7) with 112k on it. Second owner, purchased at 60k miles, owned for 3.5 years.
I’ve had issues with my car starting the past month:
My starter wasn’t turning all the way. I got my battery tested (bought 2 years ago) and they said it was no good. Bought a new battery.
Car was fine for about a week until the same issue occurred, had the starter replaced and the alternator tested (good).
Car started for about two weeks until 1/30. Ran some errands in the morning, went home to get ready for work and the starter won’t turn at all.
Dash & radio light up, head/tail lights turn on. No codes on the dash, no codes on the scanner. Disconnected and reconnected the battery multiple times, starter doesn’t turn. Tested my fuses, they’re all good. Tried the “Anti-Theft Method” with the push start, no go.
What else could this be? I’m trying to figure out if this is something that I can fix before dumping money into it at a shop.
I’d appreciate any guesses or advice. Thank you
So I just got done changing the oil on my car and and I noticed this smoke coming out. Although it should be noted that I did spill a tad bit of oil when I was pouring it into the engine. Idk if that’s it though.
I'm about to lose my mind searching through parts websites that don't have photos of parts. I am trying to swap the interior of my 2018 scat over to the red interior. I'm having difficulty finding new oem 2018 ones but I can easily find 2020-2023 oem ones. Does anyone know if the 2020-2023 will snap in/bolt up and all wiring work in my 2018?
Got a new pair of aftermarket headlights on my Charger R/T. How do they look? 😊
I have an opportunity to get back into a Charger. My last one was a 2017 RT; this time I can choose between a Scat Pack or RT. My question is: does the Scat Pack really waste more gas than an RT? I'm not a heavy-footed driver.
So I was traveling to work at 70mph and out of nowhere the cel came on. Quick scan of the gauges I found oil temp blank. About 6000 miles ago I replaced the thermostat and oil cooler with the dorman replacement and coolant temp sen. That was the only time the light has been on. So lastnight after a week of driving it I took the upper and lower intake back off and replaced the oil sensor on the oil cooler. Put new intake gaskets on. My friend that owned a shop ran the code again because nothing changed. Not sure what to look at next. Had any of my charger brothers or sisters had this problem. I drive 170 miles a day for work. I can't stand not having the problem solved. Currently in search of a work car. Ty for reading and any ideas.
2012 charger pursuit. Have had her since 54k. But just to be completely transparent, motor was replaced at 150k 😅. Gonna get the trans rebuilt soon as well. Love this car so much! What are y'alls millage??
This is the 3.5 V6 just wondering if you guys think this sounds normal other than the belt needing to be replaced.
Looking through Amazon for headlight bulbs and a lot of those results have fog lights in the name, that’s a no right?

Noticed a couple others posted.
Realistically what kind of horsepower can you get with a 5.7 and how would that compare to other cars like Camaros and mustangs. I'm not trying to beat a 10 speed mustang but I don't want to be 5 car lengths away in a race with other muscle cars. I just want to keep up and don't know whether to do a cam job or sell my car and get an SRT8.
Is this a good exhaust for a 2019 dodge charger rt. If not what would you guys recommend.
Ive had this for at least 2 weeks now (hadnt brought it to the shop yet as i needed to pay my rent first and what not) and so far the car runs fine, i even checked the different guages and stuff in the dash menu. Nothing sounds off about that car, i just had the thermostat replaced like a little over a year ago. Is this likely just a faulty wiring or something minor?
Dreamt of this day for 10+ years, 2021 Daytona 392. Already took the bananas off and the windshield already cracked so handled that sticker too 😅
I know this sub is mostly for real Chargers, but given the absolute hatred for the electric Dodge Charger and the fact that there’s literally no other subreddit dedicated to it, I was just wondering… is this where the five random redditors who actually bought that abomination are supposed to post? Or are they still contemplating whether they should even admit to it lol. I mean, I get it, I wouldn’t want to show my face here either if I spent that much money just to hear artificial engine noises through a speaker.
At least for the Mustang Mach E crossover, their name was changed. But it’s going to look very silly being r/electricCharger or whatever else it’ll be called, since there’s no other official naming brand for it.
Did a big interior upgrade with carbon all around. Loving it
if i got these for a challenger is there any way i can fit them to my charger or do i just refund ur and buy again for the charger???
So currently im on a hand me down 2007 Mazda 3 with 140HP or so, and a Dodge charger V6 2018 GT or SXT seems like a good upgrade to me but a lot of people are discouraging me from buying it as they say the V6 model is underwhelming and the brand is unreliable.
I need the opinions of the V6 owners about this.
