A subreddit for those who love Dodge Chargers!
The Dodge Charger LD is a rear-wheel drive four-door automobile introduced in February 2005. Built by Chrysler for its North American Dodge brand, the car was created to continue the Dodge Charger line, and replaced the Dodge Intrepid as Dodge's full-size sedan. Dodge Charger (2006-2010) shares the L platform with the Chrysler 300, the newer third-generation Dodge Challenger, and the discontinued Dodge Magnum.

I'm in Arlington, VA. I found a 2012 Charger R/T with 160k miles for 9k.
It drove amazingly and had no obvious problems.
What should I be on the lookout for?
Don’t you just feel like driving 110 mph to work sometimes
Anyone replace the active exhaust actuator or know the fix possibly?
I unplugged it to check the condition and as soon as I plugged it back in the actuator started turning
I tried clearing the code but no luck
Any input would be awesome!

Sorry for no vid, but I assume the title is self-explanatory. My ‘06 Charger R/T always ran perfectly fine, no lights. Now I got the snowies on + alignment, now my steering wheel is crooked. The tires go through snow beautifully, but the handling feels so much worse. Almost feels like I’m fishtailing. Can a proper alignment fix this issue???
I didn’t notice until I drove to work after Warren Tire closed, so I’m assed out for a couple of days. I put 225/45/R18’s instead of the OEM 225/60/R18… surely that small of a difference can’t be causing these issues? I’m stressing
So i have a 2023 Charger GT with the plus and tech packages, and the stock 6 speaker Alpine system. Which I’d like to make sound better, but I don’t want to change out the head unit. So what has anyone else done?
Things like this are bound to happen at some point, don't worry, I'm putting the "R" back on😁
Considering getting a 2015 SXT AWD. Looked at the car already, going back to look today. $15k with 84kmiles. Carfax looks good, seems like previous owners took care of it. Would need the AWD because of where I live.
Posted in Dodge too. Never had a Charger before so looking for some opinions.
Anyone else rocking a ton of miles on a 392? Biught new in 2016, I daily it about 120 miles a day. I still smile each time a hit the go pedal. Mechanically, car has held up well. Water pump and an axle are all that really failed. Paint and interior panels are another story. Paint has not liked Highway driving. Many battle scars and I wish I had done PPF on it. The interior panels look terrible from warping. Maybe one day I'll replace them. We shall see.
Great motor great car overall though. Many smiles per gallon.
How does my "stock" 5.7L Hemi (Dodge Charger RT Plus 2022) sound like that?
I am aware of the "negatives," and I don't really care tbh, because the happiness I get from the sound and constant head turning outweighs it.
Is this sound normal when turning on the headlight. It happens for like 7 seconds
hey everyone i’m looking to replace the suspension setup on my retired service charger and i’m aware they have a much stiffer suspension setup and it rides worse than my truck and that’s lifted. i know i won’t make it ride like a rolls but if you guys could recommend a system idk if i just get struts or do a full system
"People think I'm weird but in reality I'm just a low key chill guy who enjoys driving his Charger R/T"
Bags all the way down and a fresh wash!
Got a P0128 code and replaced the thermostat, cooler sensor and topped off coolant. Now the car gets hot really fast and fan runs really loud.
I am at a lost on what is going on. It did not do any of this before the replacements. I am wondering if the new thermostat was bad out of the box. I have done multiple bleedings to get the air out but nothing.
toughts?
