Hey so my girl and I was wondering for Deathpact if her ID would be good. She just turned 21 and her ID is expired her appointment is after Deathpacts show the 15th. You think she'll be good or just give her a 18+ band ? Im coming from jersey so I dont want to drive there and everything then get denied... any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hello! One of my favorite parts of raving is creating my outfit, so I wanted to see if anyone has suggestions on where to shop for rave attire! I know the basics, dolls kill, iheartraves, rave wonderland etc, but I am hoping to find new brands!

So I accidentally got makeup on my white wooli hockey jersey and I was wondering how to properly take the stain off and wash the jersey.

We all went on quests of "mildly epic" proportions at raves. Personally mine are along the lines of pregaming too hard and than getting lost from my group the instant we get in the venue, share some party favours and stuff, very unique i know. Any side quests y'all got to share ?

I met a girl in line at a rave on January 1st—she was with a group of friends, and we ended up chatting while waiting (the queue was long). I ran into her again this past weekend, same situation: me alone, her with a different group of people. She recognized me immediately and said hi.

Later that night, while I was deep in the music, she came up to me and said, "I really admire that you come alone to raves, you're brave. Do you want my number? You could pre-game with me and my friends sometime." I was so in the zone that I just smiled and said, "Aww, that’s really sweet, maybe later."

Thing is, I actually love going to raves alone. I like pacing myself on my own terms, not having to match energy with a group, doing whatever substances I want responsibly, and just meeting people left and right. When you're with a tight group of 3-4+, it’s harder for others to approach you and to approach others yourself. Going solo keeps things open and spontaneous, and that’s one of the things I love most about the scene.

I feel like she sees it as something unusual or intimidating, but for me, it’s the best way to experience raving. How do you explain to people that solo raving is the move? Anyone else feel this way?

Edit: Wow, post blew up. Please don’t take this thread as a humble brag and ignore my username as i made my reddit when i was a kid. During this interaction, which happened on the dancefloor where it was super loud, I was a little high and completely lost in the music. I didn’t get the chance to properly respond to her. If I had seen her later that night, I definitely would’ve exchanged numbers.

Edit 2: Now I realize that i probably came off as an asshole when she was just being sweet. over thinking is truly a bitch. Hopefully I'll run into her again. :)

Buy an island and make it a 'party island'. No dB limitations, no end hour, free entrance, free camping, free roaming around, no sponsors, no money, no VIP,... just party.

One side of the island would be a quiet chill-zone with a beach and palmtrees and things to eat and drink. And the other side would have a couple of open deck stages. One at the beach and one a little deeper in the woods on a patch of grass between the palmtrees.

It would have blacklights and fluorescent decorations everywhere, so at night it would light up the whole island, as be it in a dreamworld when your tab kicks in. So when you would look at the island from a distance, it would have a purple glow, and you would hear the damped beats and energy radiating towards you.

I would call it PLUR-Island.

I’m newer to raves but have really been packing it in this winter since i live in chicago and there’s not a ton else to do in the winter… my problem is i keep getting sick after every event!!! i (22F) and generally pretty healthy. I eat well, exercise enough, barely drink (1/2 beers before an event if anything) but smoke (🍃) a decent amount. I have a pretty stacked next month and don’t want to miss out on anything!! do you have any tips for dodging sicknesses? please help any advice is super gladly taken!!!!

looking around at VFW's and Elks lodges to start throwing shows in an underserved part of the state, is it better to pick a spot that's in a college town, or pick a halfway point between two colleges?

Getting tired of not having a way to cool off when it’s HOT in the pit. Was considering getting a small electric fan but don’t want to deal with it or the chance of loosing where a hand fan is cheap and I can replace. What do you use/recommend to cool of a bit. I’ve seen ppl put Vic’s roll on to a hand fan and OMG that felt amazing!!

Whats going on everyone? Long time EDM fan but not really a raver. I'm a DJ in the wedding and corporate scene. Hosting an EDM Night/Rave at a local ski resort sometime in the next few weeks. I have the ability to have a lot of input on how this night goes.

I've done some lighting and helped at a couple local raves in the past but this isn't really my scene.

I'd love some input on ways that I can make this fun for everyone. Things you've seen at raves. Ideas you've had or wished to have. There's a small to medium budget but can't be ridiculous. This isn't electric forest.

It's also going to be a public event for a family friendly resort, so we're not going to be able to make this a really wild underground style rave.

So yeah, what sort of things would you say to guide me in this journey. That could be musically, entertainment options, lighting preferences, music format (I've seen each hour be a diff sub genre, house, D&B, techno, etc).

We're also going to be giving away some prizes, ski passes, etc. Ever seen any fun games or contests at a rave/EDM event that would be good ways to do that without disrupting the vibe?

Ultimately I want to make this fun and as legit as possible without risking the reputation of the brand. I've failed if this ends up being some corny bullshit night and people think it was lame and corporate.

I (30 M) recently started clubbing as I love dancing and enjoying music. I’ve had multiple instances of what seems like a man and a woman dancing together (sometimes 2 women and a man, or some combination of a group) close to me. It seems as if the woman ends up starting to bump into me in an almost suggestive manner. I usually assume I’m in their space (I’m 6’5) and move away.

Tonight I had a guy friend with me. A similar situation occurred with a woman and a man. I moved away to give them space. My friend believes that the woman wanted to dance with me, though I disagreed.

I wanted advice on how to deal with the situation. I usually don’t mind dancing with someone if they are alone or if they ask. However, when I see a group or a guy and girl dancing together, I try to give them their space. I also don’t want to ask the woman if she wants to dance in case she is dating the other man, so I don’t come across as pushy or disrespectful to their relationship. Same with a group of women, I want to let them enjoy their time without trying to introduce.

Do women at times dance with a guy friend as a way to get close to another man they want to dance with? How do you know if they want to dance with you or are just trying to make some space?

Would love any advice on what to do in this situation, and how to enjoy while still being respectful of people’s space. The last thing I want to do is making anyone uncomfortable.
