Hi, I’ve got the above system minus 2off 8004’s as off yet. I’ve been reading in Reddit that folded horns mostly go down to 50hz and my 8004’s go down to 30hz. I haven’t had chance to get the system out to test it as of yet. My question is ‘’is it worth getting another set off 8004’s or do I sell up and get folded horns” I want to do small hardtrance events and I want bass you can feel in your chest. As you can tell I’m not very clued up on audio equipment. I’m just a Dj. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, after a year of going really hard with our new subs we found out the hard way, that we messed up the routing of the speaker cutout in one of our TH18 subs

As seen on the picture, the sickle (or what is even the correct term for that) is torn. Since I have not found a recone Kit on thomann, I am kinda worried now, so I am asking you if someone could provide us with a link to a compatible recone kit, a place, where I could go and get the driver fixed or a way to fix this ourselves.

We are a handy bunch, so I could imagine us getting it done but well. This isnt exactly a small home hifi chassis.

Who has a stronger motor base on specs? I heard ipal has more magnet by the oz but the specs on the eminence are really good a-least on paper

Apologies for the noob question in advance, do these need to be wired with inverted polarity?Read that they do but also read that they should be wired normally 😂 I’m fairly confident that they do need to be inverted but just wanted to be sure.

If I run these in the wrong polarity are there any damage risks to drivers or will they just sound bad/not right?

If so is this the case with all folded horn cabs or will this be design specific?

I'm in ownership of 6 x 10" Eminence Beta 10B and 2 x Fostex 025H27 tweeters , what and how many subs / more tweeters will i need to add to the six existing woofers which i plan on using as mids?

1. What does it mean when people say they're "tuning a system"? Especially an already-existing system in a club.

Are they just checking for resonances in the room and applying an EQ? Or something else?

2. Is it realistic to build 2 18" hog scoops out of MDF on my own, assuming I have the time, money, and motivation? Or should I start smaller?

I am using an Admark 442 DSP on 2 dual 18 subs (1700w aes on each driver). When pushing 2 out of the 4 available channels, the amp goes in protect at 3 db gain. If I increase my power to 32A, will I be able to run all 4 subs on the amplifier?

One sub: 3400 aes 4 ohm Amplifier: 4 channel 4 x 7200w in 4 ohm (tested power is roughly 5800w and not 7200w)

Hello, I will host a live music festival next month at a park district park with the following equipment. Will two 3000watt inverter generators be enough power? There will be 8 bands playing for a total of 6 hours, and I will be renting electric generators. I am on a budget and am looking to rent two Honda EV3000is generators from Home Depot for the day. The event needs to be able to reach loud volumes! My main concern is having the generators fail.

Looking online majority is cubo kicks etc but am looking for more midrange than kick bass.

Looking to put ontop of kicks and under some peavy tops as I have a spare pair of fane 12s so thought I may as well use em. I have seen a dual plan online but aside form that nothing so wondering if i am missing something?
