I like her sound production but would love something with way more interesting drums

So i just see people commenting in YouTube music videos that they just want to bring the late 00s/early 10s EDM nightclub party music back. They just want to make a petiton to bring this genre of music back so they missed it. Because music nowadays doesn't hit the same as these songs that was from the late 00s/early 10s. Anyone missing this genre of music?

So I lost a song that I like. It was meme edm song with a German title I believe. In the video the characters were all happy and it was old timey. It had a flute that right before the bassline went bum ba bum ba buuuuum. I know it's really vague but if you know it I'd appreciate it.

Do people really not know how to find playlists of that genre and work through tracks until they find what they like?

Many steaming platforms have AI that will play your similar songs from different artists.

I come from a time that you had to go a record store and pour through vinyl after vinyl or CD’s later - today is literally the land of fucking milk and honey when it comes to finding music you like!

In my country in France, On My Way by Alan Walker, Sabrina Carpenter and Farruko was filmed in this country at the Château de Fontainebleau because the main character of the music video, Lily Cadieux is French, the beginning of the music video was also filmed in the Olympiades district in the 13th arrondissement of Paris.

Another EDM video that was filmed in France is Cassö, RAYE and D-Block Europe - Prada, was filmed in Paris (marked at the beginning of the video).

Sound Of Legend - Heaven was filmed on the French Riviera, more precisely, in Saint-Raphaël (outside the urbanized area), but some parts seem to have been filmed in the Alps.

A part of the music video for Alan Walker - Alone was filmed near the Eiffel Tower (at the first drop of the song).

I came across this song, Need You by Meg McHugh and Paul Maddox.

So, I’ve been totally captivated (and obssessed) by “Luminous Spaces (Extended Versions) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkQLJPKUxYY) for a while now, on blast for weeks. The first time I heard it was at a festival with my mates a couple of months ago, and by the end, we were all hugging, crying, feeling alive and simply just grateful. it was just a beautiful shared moment.. I don't know if I am explaining this correctly. There’s just something about the downtempo vibe that feels like I’m meditating with my eyes open. Every time I listen, it’s like it taps into this raw feeling of being alive, open, and grounded. It’s got that magic that makes me feel connected - not just to the people around me, but to myself. It’s become part of my evening ritual when I’m winding down and practising mindfulness, almost like it’s a guide into those deep feelings of reflection.

so ... 1) I’m looking for anything with this kind of vibe and melody, similar to this song, that spark of contemplative energy, that low downtempo, easy listening... Anyone have suggestions for songs that bring on that kind of emotional, open, alive feeling? I

I’m trying to work on making music that is unique, but I realized, all the music I consume, and all the inspiration I get, comes from good, but pretty basic dubstep tracks or house tracks ect. So when I sit down at the computer, I know exactly what subgenre I’m going for. But I don’t want that all the time. So instead, I want to take inspiration from artists that are making something new.

Like I’ll use a reference track for a dubstep song, and it’ll end up sounding like a dubstep song, but very different from the reference track. So If I can use unique non-categorical songs as inspiration, I’ll end up with something even more unique.

It’s a deeper male voice (sounds similar to Meduza) singing something along the lines of:

On Spotify there’s a playlist by Jamie xx called “played by Jamie xx”. After seeing him at Portola this year and seeing him live, being able to see what inspires an artist in this form is so refreshing.

I CANNOT find this song - it’s an edm remix of Needed Me. I didn’t even know it was a remix to be honest, but after listening the Rihanna’s song it’s EXACTLY the same, but sped up with some edm flair. I’ve seen a “TikTok version” that’s similar but not as hard hitting.

It’s got “drops” that are light, euphoric, and dreamy.

Please help me find it!
