What are the best upcoming events for hard techno? (On either 7th and 8th)
Will come to LA and I want to enjoy the most crazy party and wonderful people ever without putting myself at risk (saw that shit happening to that girl). I’m travelling solo.
Cheers, Z
On sale for festival goers tomorrow at 10am.
General sale Wednesday at 10am.
Same him for the first time this Saturday. He played 9-12p. Never felt so much emotions, so much texture in techno. A much needed break from your typical hard techno.
Hey everyone!
To help our local scene I'm introducing a fresh weekly thread (unpinned) tailored specifically for our talented artists, or anyone really, to showcase music streams from LA-based producers, from legends to undiscovered gems. Whether it's individual tracks or sets from streaming platforms, intimate non-event performances (think home sessions, studios or out in nature), LA-based podcasts, or any other audio gems from our local scene, this thread will be the place to discover and share the sounds of our community.
When I say "LA-based" I'm keeping it flexible. It really could mean anywhere in the Southland, whether an artist calls LA their full-time home or just finds creative inspiration in the City of Angels. The only two hard and fast rules right now are:
Feel free to ask questions and recommend any tweaks. In the future you can click on it's flair to locate previous weeks.
Thanks for sharing!
The venue was inside a parking garage; it was cramped, had no ventilation, and they decided it was a good idea to cook hot dogs INSIDE. The entire venue smelled like hot dogs; it was DISGUSTING. I left early because the smell was too strong. Who thought that would be a good idea? And the security refused to open some of the tarps to let air in.
Thinking about going to this free event on Saturday Feb 8th, how are the vibes at the stowaway? Thanks ☺️
I was at Into the Woods last night and I honestly had a great time. I am writing this at 11 AM and just barely got up.
That being said, I made some mistakes. I got there at 7. 20 minutes away from literal opening. And I stayed until around 2 AM with a lot of breaks in between. The show lasted until 3.
Next time, I'll impose a 4 or 5 hour rule depending on the show.
I also tried my first time ever some weed. To the two guys who talked to me, I won't mention their names to protect their privacy, but you guys were chill and cool. Maybe you'll see this. Maybe you won't. But I look forward to coming back eventually.
I sadly don't have a job right now but if I do, I'd really want to make this a thing.
It was for sure a big experience and my legs are a little sore. Thanks again and I look forward to coming back in the near future.
Just got tickets to this and MCR-T. I’m visiting from NYC and not entirely sure how to decide between the two as for me I enjoy both deep house and the eclectic production of MCR-T. What will have the better crowd generally?
Anyone else going? I got a floor ticket for myself, so I’m going solo. But I’d like to make some friends 🫶
Does anyone know if sound has door tickets at sold out events? And if yes, how early should I be there? Was hoping to go tonight but can’t find tickets anywhere.
We're looking to unclutter the subreddit from individual "looking for"/"need to sell" posts. You can post those in this thread or if there has been an event posted you can reply as a comment to those posts. The default comment sorting is "new" so fresh responses are at the top.
Please keep in mind...
If you are selling, include the price that you are selling at (no gouging).
If your ticket has been sold please edit your post and add text to the top of your post that says sold.
Buy or sell at your own risk. Scammers are everywhere.
Verify the buyer or seller and make sure they’re a real person with authentic social media. Exchange phone numbers. Speak with them over the phone or get to know them better over text if you must. A real person with real tickets would have no issue providing authentication.
Never send money to someone without protection. Use PayPal "Goods and Services" or any other secure third-party services where you can get your money back in the event of a scam.
Previous buy/sell/trade threads can be found by clicking on the "Ticket Buy/Sell" post flair.

Respect the personal boundaries of other people. This includes sending unsolicited private messages. Don't Be Creepy. No Doxxing.
Hey all,
My best friend and I will be in LA (travelling from Belgium) for a week and planning to go to Tunnel on the 7th of Feb which we're very curious about as their insta page seems super cool and also the comments on reddit about them were amazing, and on top of that we always love raving in Europe, but US scene is unexplored territory.
We'd definitely be down to hanging/meeting some fun people who are also going to Tunnel so if someone down for it let me know 😀
1st time going to see him at the sphere going solo in GA was wondering from people who went. I plan on macro dosing 🍄 how intense is it? Was it overwhelming? Been seeing the "womb" and "syren" visuals. Looks amazing but a bit intense. Should I be good?
Starts at noon. Free.
I just moved here from Chicago with my controller and am itching to play somewhere. I’m wondering if it’s worth it to invest into a semi good speaker set up since I couldn’t bring any sound here :( but I can mix on anything, I’m just wondering how to get into the scene. I’m in a tiny apartment so unfortunately house parties might be out of the question.
I’d also love to make some music head friends down here! I love hip hop, dnb, ukg, house, and old school dubstep. Still haven’t been to my first rave down here :))
I’m visiting from Maine, been to Miami a few times, NY a few times but never LA for a rave. Unfortunately I have a pretty packed schedule as it’s my GF birthday as we are visiting a lot of her friends and family. Can anyone suggest something good for March 6th? Also do shows go deep into the sunrise like they do in Miami?
does anyone happen to know the set times for tonight??
I have no idea what I'm getting myself into. Being real. I picked it cause why not? The event I'll be going to will be Into the Woods presents Black Rave Culture.
Any advice on dress? Is it okay to be that lame dude that wears a Rams hoodie and khakis and a New Balance?
How about ettiquette? My only desire is to have the best time possible and stay out of people's way.
Looking for tickets to Rufus du sol in LA but it’s sold out. Wondering if there’s a way to find tickets second hand? Will be coming from New Zealand
