Hey! Basically title, I'm not sure if it's trap exactly but I feel you guys might know some good stuff so I'm open to listen to anything you recommend!
Thanks in advance!!
Edit: Spotify link if you wanna listen. banger if I might add
I feel like the trap scene in 2024 is in an awesome place where the genre-wall is just gone at this point. "Trap Producer" now means that you are a producer who makes several genres. It's really something special because there isn't another genre that operates this way.
I mean even looking through this sub, fans of "trap" are now fans of dnb, UKG, Techno, Hardstyle, etc... and the best part is the producers are also multifaceted in their approach, some lately having multiple genres in a single song which is awesome.
right now the scene is very heavy imo, and by heavy I mean it's intense music thats being released, no matter the genre. Darker, bass driven, but ultimately creative and different than what we have seen before.
SO, where do you guys feel its going next?
based off no certainty/finality my prediction is that the scene starts massively diving into more emotional vocalist stuff, kinda like montell and membas new song. but idk
Monkocity and Glissey are my reference artist to this style
This is driving me crazy. It’s such a catchy popular melody & i cant put my tongue on the name of the song.
To be specific, I’m looking for the song that he samples in the main melody. I feel like it’s an older electronic artist similar to dreamscape but i could be completely wrong. Chat GPT couldn’t help me, hoping one of y’all can!

Who here still listens to hard trap in 2024? 🖐🏽 I like to go back to my hard trap playlists and jam out to some bangers from Lit Lords, Gravedgr, Zoobstool, TwoLit and some other lowkey artists from time to time
