Happy Friday. Who’s going to Eli Brown?
Hello, what are your plans for the weekend?
Music midtown cancelled. Countless other festivals cancelled indefinitely or temporarily. WTH is going on here? Is the only festival Atlanta is getting this year shaky knees? I'm so jealous of other cities smaller than Atlanta getting so many festivals!
Hi y’all I’m a 26 yr old M going to the District for the first time. I usually go to shows alone and try to meet people there but this sub seems pretty welcoming.
Wondering if anyone else in the sub is looking for a friend to chill and dance with?
I’d also appreciate any tips about attire and parking!

Hey everyone I’m gonna be in Atlanta for about a week for a work but I have Saturday and Sunday to myself. I’d love to go to a house show! Does anyone have any suggestions where to go?
I gotta say I was sad that Chris lake show had to be rescheduled but holy shit this was a fire ass set to attend. Austin Millz is certified too cause he asked them to take away the gates behind him so the crowd would have more room. Iris didn’t oversell and it was a great time. I hope they keep letting artists perform in the middle of the basement.
Post what you did this weekend, what shows you hit, and anything else you want to share!
Whether it be open decks or shows im down to play or go whereever
Hello, what are your plans for the weekend?
Going for the first time in years tomorrow night for William Black. What time do you think he'll go on and play for?
I know Iris Presents and Believe Music Hall had some negative reviews but I’ll be honest I went to the new Unity Rave events that they started this year and man…it was a freaking blast! The legend, Aphrodite performed at Unity Rave 3 this past Friday and absolutely killed it. I also went to the 2nd one as well and it was great. People seem to like it and the last 2 events sold out. If you’re thinking about going please do! And also let me know, I’d love to meet you guys in person. I tend to go to these raves by myself and I’ve had an amazing time and got to meet really cool people there. No fights, obviously you’ll have those one off characters but for the most part the people who go are pretty solid (I can only speak for myself of course). Anyway, have any of you gone? And if so how was your experience?
Edit: I already got my ticket for next month. Early bird tickets are free but if you go to the door they will charge you about $10 or so. Just a pointer!
Am coming to Atlanta to see a friend this weekend and we were going to go to Chris Lake on Friday 5/3 but it’s now cancelled unfortunately. We’re looking for something else to do instead, would love to at least go to a club / venue that plays house / tech house / minimal. Any suggestions for venues, or other events happening that would be a fun replacement?

Hi everyone! I was wondering if Coca Cola Roxy allows canes? I can walk fine and you can’t tell by looking at me, but have some physical issues where standing for a long time is very difficult. The reserved seating is out of my budget. Would they allow me to bring in my Flipstick cane to lean on sometimes? Also curious if anyone knows about other venues and if they allow this.
he just posted on ig that he’s not going to make it to houston, atlanta or vegas….
soooooooo bummed. & im not getting my hopes up for a refund

I have been to the tabernacle a couple times. I saw boogie t there on 4/20. I got in the security line like usual with my weed hidden in my underwear. I have a fanny pack that contains essentials and stuff including a battery pack, wallet, glasses case, keys, lighters, vape, hand sanitizer, gum, electrolyte packets, kandi, tissues, and in the winter I add hand warmers. Nothing suspicious in my bag as far as I knew. I opened it up for security. The security guard made me throw away my hand sanitizer and I thought “maybe it’s a policy against liquids”. Then security made me throw away my gum and I thought “maybe it’s a policy against gum”. Then security made me throw away my electrolyte packets and I thought “bro how much of my stuff is gonna have to be thrown away”. I was a little worried that they would confiscate my baggies of kandi. Then the security guard let me through. I was kinda pissed, but the things I threw away can be easily replaced with the backups I have. But here’s what really agitated me, I had given my two friends electrolyte packets because one was tripping and one was drinking. Gotta keep the homies hydrated. Security let them keep their electrolyte packets through. It just kinda put me in a mood for a while and I’m still thinking about it. It’s not a big deal, but it’s just slightly annoying and perplexing.
Alright, so I went to Bonfire for the Gettoblaster show and it was awesome. The sound and production were on point. It's a really cool space, cozy random seating areas, cheap drinks. I love that there is an alternative to the mega clubs in this scene. I'm going again this weekend. Is anyone else coming out?
Are there any bars or restaurants in ATL that play electronic music "in the background" during the day on the weekends (or any other time)? Just a place to chill, have some drinks, and maybe a little food. But instead of radio music in the background, it's electronic music. I'm not looking for a "club" but I guess more of a "vibe," like a lounge.
(I think the old Nomenclature was like what I'm trying to describe?)
