I've read that if you replace Venus's atmosphere with Earth's, it would be around 55-70 degrees Celcius, which is incredibly uncomfortable but survivable in the short term without protective equipment and definitely survivable in the long term with it.
hello, I am creating my own seamless maps of Venus and I was wondering where I can find Pioneer Venus data to fill in gaps in the Magellan SAR and altimetric maps as well as a download the high resolution south pole map which I have a hard time finding everywhere except QuickMap. Is there a site where I can download this data, or do I have to order pioneer stuff from an archive and try to get my hands on the Magellan CDs?
I was like “wow look at that big star by the moon!”
My kindergartner says “mom…. Would you be embarrassed to know that it’s actually Venus and not a star!”
And I’m wondering if that’s correct Information.
Not an expert here, have no idea if you can help me to identify based on that as well
Taking into account that Venus is a tide-locked planet with a rotation period of 243 days and assuming we had change the composition of its atmosphere to make it breathable. How big would it be its habitable zone? I mean, one half of the planet will have plenty of sun where the other will be in darkness.
