As per the tile. I'm using a ps vita tv and still love it. I have a ps4 controller for it I've been using for years. Well... here we go. The controller left analog stick started to drift very slightly but noticeably and enough to impact gameplay. But looking at gamepad tester, it's so small that I think I'd be able to manage with a small dead zone. Is there a way to set one up for ps vita/ps vita tv?

The console after a few minutes of playing games it restarts and goes into the recovery options, and it keeps doing this even after resetting the console.

Alright here's the symptoms:
My PS Vita PCH-2000 only charges for almost exactly 1m and 5s after being plugged into anything (PC, laptop, wall outlet, etc.) during this time the orange light is on.
I have tried using a different Micro-USB cable, which resulted in the same problem, I JUST replaced the battery and I still have the same issue (although now I actually have some battery to play with)
So it's not the battery or the charger, am I cooked chat?

Hello I boguht a sencond unit Oled Vita from someone and I feel like the spearks not crisp and lound, its applied to all Oled Models?

So a few days ago, my PS Vita was not charging. I already cleaned the charger, changed sockets but no dice. I didn't find a fix until it eventually ran out of juice and now I can't open it. But last night, I figured to try to charge it using a laptop. It did work, the orange light showed and I left it overnight to charge.

When I woke up, it charged enough to around 14% or so but it shut down a couple moments after opening it. Gonna try to charge it overnight using my laptop overnight. In the mean time, what seems to be the issue? Broken charger?

The device is tested and working just not the game card reader so being sold as faulty quite cheap, wondering if that's a concern with this model or nothing to worry about? Thanks.

i am using a pch-1101(motherboard revision irs-002 i believe as it is a original black vita). i have factory reset the system(twice to make sure) via safe menu along with running the latest firmware, i am testing the system directly via the system installed apps and am not using a memory card(to reduce as many variables as possible).

after looking up the issue i am having many people have had the issue via the l/r triggers so i have disassemble the device and disconnect the flex cables that connect them to the daughter-boards with no change to the issue.

i did have a breakthrough as i can get the directional buttons working in the settings app via removing the large flex cable that connects the right side(the side with the symbol buttons) daughter-board to the main board.

after that discovery i tried removing the smaller flex cable(i believe that goes to the right analog stick) that connect to the main board, no change there.

i have removed the WiFi chip to be able to access the daughter-board so that is not a factor.

i have removed the right daughter-board and using ipa 70% have clean the tactile buttons for both the symbol buttons and start/select along with cleaning the membranes. no change with them install and have also tested removing the membranes for both the symbols and select/start and using a tool to press the tactile buttons with no change.

i am thinking of buying a replacement right side daughter-board, though i thought i would write this up in case any one can point to something i might be overlooking.

EDIT: i have left the back touchpad disconnected while testing both to rule that out and not to worry about that connection when assembling and disassembling the device

Looking for a new JRPG to pick up but I really hate the ones with the long drawn out intros that just prolong you actually playing the damn game. It's like "we have this really cool game but first we want to show you some cool animated sequence that we farmed out to some broke artists, then we'll show you a conversation between 2 static portraits (although we will make the female's boobs jiggle because ......titties!) and maybe after ALL that you'll get to play for 5 minutes before we interrupt with another static conversation (with added boob jiggles) before you can actually enjoy the game".

Not every JRPG needs this, tons of SNES and Genesis JRPGS had minimal intros then threw you into the world.

Any recommendations would be nice.

With PS 30th Anniversary on the rise. China is making og ps1 colored plates for ps5, shells for the ps portal and for the dual sense.

I have seen one user who made his own custom ps1 theme Dualsense controller.

What are the chances of 3rd party manufacturers to create a shell for the oh so beautiful, yet discontinued PS Vita?

Also…whoever missed out on preordering the 30th Anniversary collections. PS direct will be restocking on the 30th Dualsense and 30th Slims on Oct. 29 9 AM PDT.

My girl friend had never really played video games before but she's going through some stressful times and wants to keep her mind busy, she asked if she can try out some games for the first time.

I let her start harvest moon heroes of leaf village the other day on my vita, and she seemed to enjoy it, thought it was relaxing.

I want to know what are some other games I should download for her? Games more on the east side and relaxing.

Will there be a code of Little Big Planet Marvel Hero edition or is it preinstalled on the cartridge? Also if i play the Vita version can i get it on LBP 3 aswell?

What gems has everyone found digging around the Vita PSN store?

Sorry if everyone knows this, charged up and switched on my vita (not used in forever) and went to the PSN store. After going through the lists for different categories, I noticed many games missing from when I looked ages ago. I was initially trying to find any Ridge Racer games. There was none listed under PS vita games, PSP or PSOne. However when I searched Ridge Racer I found the Vita version available to buy. I decided to do more searches to see what came up an found a Namco Heritage pack featuring a Tekken 1 and Ridge Racer 4 bundle (PSOne). Have since found many other games just by using the search function in clouding Streetfighter Alpha 2 and 3, Rachet and clank Trilogy, Castlevania SOTN etc. It's insane that all these game are hidden. I got some shopping to do!
