Almost eight months now and he knows what I'm thinking before I know what I'm thinking. I love him so much.
I'm getting him this week and I can't think of any names for him, he's a staffy X Kelpie X ridgeback, He's an absolute sweetheart and I'm Australian idk if that helps or not

We brought home a pup from animal control one month ago and tonight she gave birth to quadruplets. She was booked for a spay tomorrow. Looks like it'll be an interesting summer.
Everyone meet Tito, recently rescued and looking for his forever home
Or, did I just get a broken one?
Chief is 6 months old and absolutely loves his cat buds.
Just got these two puppies. Pitt/boxer. They’re sister (left) and brother (right). They’ve taken to our 12 year old. And she has taken to them.
Pup decided that I was his bed for his evening nap.
I’m pretty desperate to find something that can help or gives us hope. One of my friends adopted a roughly 3-4 month old puppy a month ago from a local “rescue” (I use quotes because I could say a lot about this guy and the vibes I got from him when we went to pick out her puppy and it seems like yelp agrees with me in my research since) and after nearly the entire month being filled with nonstop vet and er vet visits yesterday my friends amazing puppy tested positive for distemper.
Basically Sami has been on every antibiotic imaginable, she’s also on Cerenia, she’s received fluids several times. The list goes on and on. She started anti-seizure medication yesterday because she’s had “ticks” for about a week and a half now I’d say. My friend and her husband are syringe feeding her and syringing her water as often as possible to help with her caloric intake because she isn’t eating great on her own. She has trouble walking on her own and standing to go to the bathroom. But every day is different for her. One day she’s alert and tries to play (they have a 1.5 year old puppy at home as well) and the next she’s just worn out and doesn’t do much. But every single day Sami shows them in some way or another that she is not ready to give up and she’s still fighting.
Is there anything they can do for her? Is there any hope? They’ll do anything they can. I’ll do anything I can to help them and Sami.
I’ve spent countless hours reading success (and not so successful) stories here and researching this horrific disease I had never even heard of until now. Any help or suggestions are welcome!
Thanks!!
