This is yuki and he had his first vaccination yesterday. It’s been 15hrs since he last ate and the only thing he eats is the lickable cat treat but he ate like 3/4 of it. He had one last night and one this morning. Thats all he eats and he’s not even drinking any water. The thing is when im setting up his meal, he’d come over as if he’s hungry and he’d come smell the food but wont eat it. I even cooked him chicken with soup, tried 3 different brands of kitten food and meat, tried warming up the food, feeding him off of my hand and even some dry food and he’s not interested at all. Well the vet did warn me about the side effects like loss of appetite, lethargic and sleeping more than usual which he is and is normal but i just want to make sure he’s not starving. So any recommendations or any advices? Or am i over worried cause he’s my very first pet 🥲 i just wanna make sure everything’s okay
I am a new kitten owner and pleading for advice from those more knowledgeable! I found a kitten about a month ago, long story short the little orange tabby guy is mine now. He was perfect on the litter box from day one. I even transitioned him to another litter type successfully within a week. All was well for a month, and now suddenly he is peeing outside the box. It has been on towels, my dog’s bed, and now in my bathroom sink. He poops in the box just fine. He is 3.5 months old, seems healthy otherwise. He is getting neutered in 3 days. Could this be territorial? Stress? UTI? Considering his young age, and that he poops in the box, I’m just not sure what to try. Nothing else has changed about his box. Any input is appreciated!!!

Does that make him a bengdoll or a raggal? 😂
Hiya, so my mam works at a pet crematorium and yesterday some scum left this baby kitten outside and abandoned her, either to die, or to be taken in by the crem, I’m not sure. She now has a loving home with my brother and she is safe, is anyone able to help on what type of breed she may be?
My friend in Gaza sent me this video of her rescued kitten finally eating canned food after not being able to find any in the markets. The prices are very high right now so it made my heart happy to know my friend was able to find some.
Our kitten has a history of undetermined food allergy that manifests as excessive itching causing bleeding patches and scabs around her chest and neck, as well as smelly poos.
We’ve been to the vets about this, advised to do an elimination diet which we have done. We have found she can eat James Wellbeloved hypoallergenic turkey kitten dry food and all her issues went away. Sucess!
Only, I really want her to be able to have some wet food in her diet. So after the elimination trial period of being solely on the dry food was over, I introduced the exact same JWB kitten turkey food but the wet food one.
After about three meals her patches started coming back, so we stopped.
I can’t understand what she is allergic to, as they are very similar in ingredients. It can’t be turkey, it can’t be grain… as both are in the dry food which she tolerates just fine.
I know her dry food is technically nutritionally adequate, I just wish she could have wet food as it makes me sad when she loves it so much
Hi, i adopted an almost 3 months old cat he is roughly 10 weeks. How much food should i feed him? I bought wet food (pouches) of 80 g each, how many should i give him ?
Oh, hello 👋
Still wobbly when they walk and I’m thinking maybe 3ish weeks? And yes he (I’m assuming I can’t tell) always looks so helpless 😭
