What is blop?
Blop is an adorable phenomenon that involves the protrusion of a dog's tongue while its mouth stays closed, often due to forgetfulness or while asleep.

Adopted this way, maybe born this way? Floppy lip and permanent blop courtesy of the front part of his lower jaw not existing. Came from a hoarding situation and a few of the others who came in with him had the same thing. Most of his remaining teeth (8 maybe?) came out the following year. He has 3 or 4 left, maybe. 14 years old, blind, full of love and plays like a puppy.
My rescue Hardy went through obedience training to learn how to walk on a leash, sit and shake. He always likes to blop whenever he shakes!
