I'm looking to find Montgomery Inn barbecue sauce anywhere in Pittsburgh. I've read that it's available here in certain stores, but haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know if any stores (even novelty grocery stores, if any) might carry it? Thanks in advance.
I am located in the South Hills (near century 3) and need to create a trust and create a POA.
Any recommendations? Thank you.
Please for the love of God just do right by this city....
You see a lot of chatter about which neighborhood has the steepest streets, most stairs, etc.
But what's the most geographically flat neighborhood?
South Side Flats? Downtown? Talk about it
My husband and I are moving from Austin, TX to Pittsburgh. We have settled on Mt. Lebanon as being the place we want to look for houses, but our realtor is also having us look at houses that are in the Mt. Lebanon school district but are technically in Castle Shannon and Dormont. Are there any downsides to that? I asked if maybe they were double taxed due to being in two municipalities and she said no, but my parents are in a similar situation in New York and they definitely get charged more money for being caught between two towns. Thanks!

So, I create psychedelic folk music and plan on being able to accompany myself on the keys, viola, and violin. I plan on teaching myself to play the keys and to transfer my violin lessons over to the viola somehow, but am, anyways hoping to find someone to teach me to play the violin. I would like to pick up a bit of theory here and there and am, of course, willing to engage in the lessons as per the instruction, but the goal of my playing isn't to be able to someday play difficult classical pieces, but rather to be able to loosely structure, but mostly improvise accompanying parts for my own music. When I explained this to my voice coach, she recommended that I find a violin teacher who also appreciates the fiddle, which, as we all know, is the same instrument, although no one cares if you spill beer on a fiddle, but, anyways, I guess that I'm looking for that or, at the very least, someone to teach me violin in such a manner that lends itself well to improvisation.
Tl;dr: While I am willing to learn to learn to play Greensleeves or whatever, the purpose of these lessons is not so much to be able to sight read a complex classical piece, but rather to be able to get on stage and lay something down to someone else's song on request at an open mic or something like that.
Hello! I've got a project and am hoping that somebody would be able to help cut an appx 1ft disc into 3/4inch slices. Would anybody be able to help?
Good morning.
I have been reading through reddit posts related to pet friendly rentals as well as searching online and am running into the 2 pet max. There have been some nice options that have no weight limit or breed restrictions which is great but when it comes to numbers, I am having an issue.
I have been a little stressed with the thought of needing to re-home any pets as that is not what I ever want to do as I commit to the life of the pet. Does anyone have any insight or places that are pet friendly for 2+.
I appreciate any insight!
Hello! I am looking for an oddities shop that sells cute dead things for a secret Santa gift for a coworker! Thinking along the lines of bones/skulls/pinned dead bugs etc. if there’s any shops like this in the pgh area open today, let me know!
To distract from politics and sad news, let’s come together to make our version of the classic Empire State of Mind. We will be using the chorus as the main base:
(New York. Concrete jungle where dreams are made of. There’s nothing you can’t do. Now you’re in New York. These streets will make you feel brand new. Big lights will inspire you. Let’s hear it from New York.)
Change any of the lyrics to give it a signature Yinzer flair. Get started!
I've had a package sitting with Ontrac, in Pittsburgh, for five days now with no movement. They now have another package of mine that I doubt will go out for delivery today like the tracking info claims. Customer service (I started out number 326 in line) told me there are delays with my local warehouse but provided no other information. Has anyone in Pittsburgh received an OnTrac package lately?
Are there any medical programs at night besides nursing??
Gyms, restaurants, grocery stores.
While that virus shut down a lot of what used to be, the jobs that are 24 hours with non-normal daylight 9-to-5's still exist. There needs to be some options for those with odd hours that get off of work at 2 AM.
I'll be staying at the Crowne Plaza in Bethel Park at the start of 2025 and I'd like to unwind at night with a cocktail in a classy space: Upholstered chairs, maybe wood paneling, people dressed nicely, and mid-dark lighting. No tv. Unfortunately, the only places I can see for a cocktail in this area are all sports bars or holding pens at restaurants like BJs Brewhouse or Red Robin. Is there anything else in the area where I can nurse a whiskey sour and NOT hear the final score from the other side of the bar? Bonus points if it's a vintage or historic space. Thanks!
dont know what thats all abt
New Ken so who purchased the building? And Ms T who ran it is a creeping with the tenant.
I don’t see any news articles specifically about Pittsburgh yet, but watching the news conference live they are saying he probably spent some time here over the past few days.
Edit: accused CEO killer. Can’t edit the title.

I know it’s not uncommon to honk but this was different. It sounded like we won the Superbowl! It was a cacophony of beeps and boops. Anybody have some insight?
