On September 16, 2024, DEP responded to Shell's June 22, 2024 letter requesting that flare vent gas composition data from inline gas chromatographs to be treated as confidential business information (CBI) under Section 13.2 of the Air Pollution Control Act.

Why confidential?

The latest rumor regarding the Northern Lights Shopping Center is that UPMC is buying the property and planning to build a facility on site. The rumor goes on to detail that current tenants must be out of the shopping center by Jan 1. Has anyone else heard anything similar? I have not seen confirmation of this anywhere.

We dropped Comcast but would like to get an OTA indoor antenna. Living in Vanport in the valley, I'm curious if anyone else is using an antenna and what channels are you getting? Looking at the DTV maps from the FCC does not give me much hope.

Are there any history experts in this county? My grandmother who passed away a few years ago grew up in Midland. I believe she went to a catholic school ran by nuns all of her growing up, but can't confirm if that was the case when she was in high school. I was unable to find her in the 1955 Beaver High School or the 1955 Lincoln High School yearbook. I'm trying my best to find the name of the school that she possibly went to. She would have been a senior in 1955. Do any locals know of catholic schools from the past? I wish I was more familiar with the area but I've been in Texas all of my life.
