Merry Christmas, citizens of Epcot.
Found this in my Epcot souvenir box. Produced by Epcot Educational Media, this was a teachers guide for elementary school students to educate kids about science and technology
We are going to Orlando on Xmas and staying til 12/30. I hadn’t planned to do Disney world at all but my husband thought our daughter (who’s almost 4) would really enjoy it. So after some research I thought Epcot would probably be the best for princess encounters and some rides (she’s loved all the rides at our local fairs especially the roller coaster).
I booked a reservation at the akershus royal banquet hall for 12/28. Haven’t booked the tickets yet. How much in advance do I need to book the park tickets?
A brand new EPCOT Nemo and friends pin is now available at the Walt Disney World Resort for $12.99. You can find this pin in ImageWorks. The Pin features the EPCOT logo on a blue background. Nemo can be seen swimming through the “C.” Also depicted are Crush, Squirt, and Dory. Light blue waves can be seen above and below the EPCOT logo along with small blue bubbles throughout the pin. The pin is likely a nod to the park’s attraction The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

Test Track 3.0 will open next summer, and crews are hard at work on the exterior of the building to build a new entrance canopy for the reimagined ride. The following pictures were taken by BlogMickey. They made it out to EPCOT today to take a look at the canopy construction from both the monorail and the ground. The canopys shape is a half circle like half of a pie. As I previously posted, recently steel beams has started to apper and then they installed this today. This Canopy will replace the big canopy from the orignal two version of Test Track.
Fell in love with the Holiday Fig cocktail at Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina in the Morocco pavilion during the Festival of the Holidays. I searched the recipe, sourced the Kleiner Feigling liqueur, secured the white cranberry juice…but how is it pinkish red on property, yet nearly clear for me?! I used Ocean Spray White Cranberry. Wondering what else they use, if anyone is nearby and can ask I would be forever indebted!!!
So I just got this case but sadly I didn't know Apple no longer sells the 15 pro or it commonly is out of stock so I am ISO of a 16 Figment case if anyone knows where I can get one I'd appreciate it. I'm kind of sad this case won't work 😕
I recently got back and my favs are figment and star lord aka peter quill. but i would like to know yours. for some reason last trip i went to epcot twice. both days i met star lord aka peter quill ( the second day i went ONLY to ride spaceship earth meet star lord aka peter quill and meet mickey and friends and then i left ). both times i did the baymax balala thing. the first time i said execute order 66 star lord was confused,,, he said we would get disco inferno and we did ( on cosmic rewind we get disco inferno then got rickrolled ) good trip...
Hello Reddit!
I am going to be going to EPCOT for the first time on the 23rd with my whole family and I’m SO excited!
Is there any recommendations you could make to do/see/eat while I am there?
I’ve noticed that GOTG is only a virtual queue attraction, and I have never used this system before. Would someone mind explaining when I could “book” a ride using that system? (the morning of, during the day etc.)
Any tips would be greatly welcomed and appreciated!
so my favorite movie is E.T The Extra-Terrestrial, so i immediately noticed when john william’s score for E.T. started playing in the queue line. does anyone know why there’s universal music playing at disney lol ?? it was so random my ears perked up immediately. i tried asking a cast member and they said they’re not sure but Universals Rip Ride Rocket has one of the muppet songs on their secret song list which was a neat fact. id love to know if anyone had any reason why or why they may think it’s there?? it doesn’t make any sense to me as to why it would be playing there of all places especially at a disney park but i’m always happy to hear the instrumentals from my favorite movie lol
Hope this helps.
there is an injured ibis across from the refreshment port in canada, maybe has a broken knee, is there someone to report this to so it can get help? makes me so sad
Anyone going to Epcot this week that can snap a picture of the Norway Beer Cart menu(s)?
Had a REALLY tasty fruity beer (or cider?) from there last month and want to figure out if it’s possible to have again somehow back here at home.
I have an idea for a new attraction:
Cuckoo Haus would be a dark boat ride located in the Germany Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot.
Attraction type: Dark ride
Theme: German culture and folklore
Vehicle type: Bateaux
Riders per vehicle; 23-24
Duration: 10: 30 minutes
Animatronics: 190
The ride is hosted by Ludwig Von Drake who teaches us about German culture and folklore. Guests board boats and sail through a forest and see other guests dining at the Black Forest Restaurant. Next, the boats pass through various German folklore such as The Pied Piper of Hamelin, singing elves, the Bremen Town Musicians, a friendly dragon, and a family of trolls. The boats then suddenly go down a waterfall and into a Bavarian village. At the village square guests see an elephant dressed in lederhosen while a barmaid offers mugs of root beer. Next, the boats pass a tavern where various people (and animals) are enjoying their own root beer. Passing under the bridge, guests witness a cat and mouse engaging in a sword fight, chefs being chased by angry turkeys, geese, and pigs, a milkmaid crying over spilt milk, a little girl licking a lollipop with a cat popping up in a barrel next to her, and a dog being chased by the angry butcher. The next scene shows a German band playing loudly while the citizens try to quiet them, a diva opera singer, a man trying to move a stubborn donkey, and a dog protecting two lovestruck kids from an angry bull. In the jail, three men try to coax the keys from a pig. The next room shows the inside of a clock with little gremlins playing and sitting on the levers, cogs, gears, and springs. Doors open in front of guests as their boat sails past a cuckoo bird perched on top of its cage and back to the loading zone. Guests exit into the Cuckoo Gifts & Sundries gift shop, where mugs, chocolate candy, Gummy Disney Characters, shirts, hats, toys, pins, and magnets are sold.
The Deluge was a short film featured in the Living Seas Pavilion at EPCOT, running from 1986 to 2004. It was located in the space where the Turtle Talk with Crush theater is today. After United Technologies ended its sponsorship in 1999, the Seacabes ride closed, but the queue, The Deluge, and the Hydrolators remained open to transport guests to Seabase Alpha. Around that same time guess we’re also allowed to skip the film and immediately to the Hydrolators. In 2004, The Deluge was permanently closed to make way for the queue and Turtle Talk with Crush. Following that, in 2005, the entire pavilion reopened as The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros will close for refurbishment in January 2025. The last day of operations for the boat ride at EPCOT will be Sunday, January 5. On Monday, January 6, the ride will close, likely for a refurbishment. A set reopening time has yet to be announced. The official Walt Disney World website lists the attraction as closed through at least February 10 – the furthest date available for guests to view on the attraction calendar. The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros is a slow-moving boat ride past some of the most famous sights and cities in Mexico. Hilarity and hijinks ensue as Panchito and José Carioca, the other two members of The Three Caballeros, go on a mission to find Donald as he’s disappeared somewhere south of the border.
Walt Disney World has announced the dates for the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which celebrates 30 years next year. The festival will bloom throughout EPCOT once again from March 5 to June 2, 2025. The upcoming festival will celebrate 30 years of Flower & Garden. In addition, Disney also shared a partial lineup for the Garden Rocks Concert Series that takes place during the festival at the America Gardens Theatre. See the dates and performers below:
The rest of the Garden Rocks Concert Series lineup and more details on next year’s fest will be released at a later date.
Just recently got back from a 2 day trip to enjoy the festival and had a great time. Wanted to share this picture I took. Would've shared more, but reddit wouldn't upload them.
Hope all you World Travelers enjoy!

My family (M44, F40, F12, F8) will be making our first visit to Epcot on NYE. I'd love any tips or suggestions from vets of what we need to prioritize. The park is open til 1 am. Is there a best place to watch the fireworks that we should stake out? What are your favorite foods (we love everything weird) that are a decent value? When might be optimal times to hit the best rides? Thank you all.
