So my FlyingSteel arrows were stolen and I have looked everywhere online to find some but can't find any anywhere. I would greatly appreciate if anyone had any they could sell me or know anyone who I can get a couple from. I cannot use any other brand. Name your price.
working on getting some of the rust off
Was looking at different knives/throwing gear that can mix up my typical axe throwing.
So far I've purchased some throwing knives, throwing cards, and a cleaver (though the really good designed-for-throwing cleavers seem to be relegated to independent manufacturers/seem like they're a bit hard to get ahold of - the full metal tang cleavers don't seem to be of the same quality)
Was wondering what else is fun to throw - only rule is that it can't be small enough to fit through the chain link boundaries at our local throwing range (no throwing spikes, screwdrivers etc.)
Does the SOG Fling have sharpened edges? I know only the tip hits the target, but I’m debating edc a throwable.
Has someone tried the Alamo spinning bowie from Wulflund? I can't find any review of them beside some short video from Adam Celadin
When Chronicles of Riddick came out I bought at $15 pair of "Saber Claws" from the movie. Fast forward to today and having cheesy movie props isn't my thing. I want functionality.
Enter the throwing picks. The spear is a previous project (more of a throwing arrow) that I used dowel pins and rawhide to haft. The other one broke (after a fair amount of use) so this time I decided to cheat and use Gorilla glue epoxy before pinning and wrapping. The new size dowel pins should be here tomorrow.
What I'm torn on is whether I should dremel off the handles that are just sitting there looking dumb. The extra weight is probably useful, but they might look cooler without them.
Please advise!
