I'm a student at SAIT and a few friends want to come up from Med Hat to the Tampa game next week. I'm signed up for rush notifications and I get texts for every game. I'm looking for any rules against bringing friends who AREN'T students but can't find anything. Has anyone bought student rush seats and brought non-student friends before? Is this a problem?

I was hoping some flames fans here could shed some light on who might be a good fit for us to sign on to start kicking a little more ass. Minor league players, free agents within the league, etc.

We seem to be reactionary in our playing the body vs. the puck. Seems like only when we get checked aggresively, do we ever do the same. I think we could benefit from having 2 more Lombergs, maybe even in standard size, to move us forward in the W column.

By my brief research, no team has finished with such a low leading scorer total in 10 years, since the 2015 Leafs, ironically led by Nazem Kadri (45 pts)

You'd have to scroll to 5th on the Flames list until you find a forward under 30 (connor zary, on pace for 39 pts).

I know everybody's been having fun with the teams start to the season, but for anyone who ever wants this team to become truly good again, it's frighteningly clear how bad they need some top 10 or better draft picks over the next season or 2.

We are starved for elite forward talent, now more than any other team in the league. Craig needs to see the writing on the wall and continue to sell this season, the earlier the better. Kadri for one may still have enough value to get something back without having to retain.

I used to live in Calgary and am taking my family there for our first NHL game together. Is there any tips / tricks or things I should know for navigating an nhl game with young kids? What’s the security like? Beer prices? Places to avoid? Must haves for food? I’m also an avid outdoorsman and kinda feel strange with out at the very least a small pocket knife like Swiss Army knife. Is that a possible issue? Also is there anything that’s a must see and do with kids? Sorry for the million questions and thanks for your time.

We’re making the trek from Oz this Christmas and can’t wait to finally catch a Flames game at the Saddledome. We’ll be at the December 21 game against the Blackhawks, and it’s shaping up to be the highlight of our trip!

Any tips on the best seats to soak up the atmosphere? Also, where’s the best place to grab tickets without getting ripped off? There’s three of us, and we’re keen to make the most of the night and get a proper Canadian experience.
