What was Koyomi burying in Kabuki 2?

I've been rewatching the show while trying to think of the metatextual meaning of each character, as in, what they could represent as individual aspects of Koyomi's person. Since the story is told almost entirely through his perspective they're all heavily tinted by his own bias and may even be interpreted as elements of his own personal struggles. For example, Karen and Tsukihi could be seen as his human and monster selves respectively for a bunch of reasons that I probably don't need to explain, while Hanekawa can be seen as his ideal of pure ("real" and "white") justice, which is clearly unnattainable and false, and has to accept herself (or itself) as flawed.

Meanwhile, Hachikuji can be interpreted to be his inner child that he is forced to accept has already died in Bake 5, since the arc is partly about Koyomi coming to terms with Karen's comment about him never growing up (as well as a bunch of other reasons). Under this lense, I found it really interesting that the day before she dies (in Kabuki 2), we see a young Koyomi seemingly burying something (maybe an insect?) in his front yard with a really somber expression (this could also be connected to Hanekawa burying the cat, a similar kind of justice, but even more extreme).

If we interpret Hachikuji to be his inner child which died the day after the burying, then that event seems like it could be quite important to Koyomi's development of his ideals and his growing cynicism, even prior to the event with Sodachi. Especially within the context of Senjougahara and Hanekawa's conversation about the danger in showing your kindness to an unkind world in Neko Shiro 3, and how Araragi's and Hanekawa's approaches differ.

Therefore, I was wondering if there's any further info on why and what Koyomi was burying thay day, perhaps from the Kabuki novel, or from a later one?

Also, I would be really interested in knowing of there's any more of this sort of analysis available somewhere in the fandom, since it's one of the aspects I've found most interesting about the story.

Chords/Tabs/Sheet music?

is there any chords/tabs/sheet music for guitar for the OST? All I know is that the composer is Satoru Kosaki. I have been looking forever for so many different songs.

Has reading the light novels changed your opinion on the anime in any way?

I've found that while Monogatari is a very faithful adaptation, with PERFECT casting and astounding visuals, I guess for me personally, I'm learning the visuals actually distract me from the dialogue too much. There's so many details and thoughts in the novel too, I find myself taking an incredibly long time to read them, as there tends to be some line that strikes a chord with me on every other page, and I end up reading the page multiple times. Brief statements often expanded into pages of content. I was so shaken up reading through a part yesterday, it took me nearly an hour to read what was about 4 minutes in the anime. Sure, that doesn't sound productive in any sense if you just want to finish a story, but I was feeling every line in my soul at my own pace. It makes reading these books feel like a gourmet meal knowing there's so much food left to eat.

As for direct observations about the anime itself, I find myself agreeing with something I heard some guy somewhere say before, that Monogatari's world isn't as avant garde and surreal as its visuals would suggest - the novels actually feel incredibly grounded. Shaft also has amped up the sexuality by 3000% which might surprise some people lol

I couldn't really imagine the anime being better than it is, but I guess I'm getting old and like to stare at words for an even larger amount of hours lol

At what point in the story do you think you can "figure out" Ougi?

I'm curious at what point in the story you think enough hints have been given for a reader to be able to figure out who/what Ougi is, and what she represents.

In my opinion, if someone is attentive and actively theorizing about the story with all available information, Araragi and Ougi's conversation in the last episode of Tsuki is enough to get a vague idea of what she represents. She states outloud what Araragi has been thinking the entire arc - that he needs to atone for relying on other people, the exact thing that being a vampire represents to him. Her referencing the events of Kizu in that same conversation, despite what Araragi says about that story in the final line of it, is the other giant giveaway here.

I've seen people say very different things about this, at what point it's logical to assume that Nisio "expects" his readers to have figured it out, I'm just curious what other people think.

Does Monogatari and its characters have any extracurricular passions for things like music, video games, etc?

Monogatari characters seem to have an innate knowledge of old 60s/70s/80s anime, manga, and movies. These are obviously Nisio Isin's own inspirations and passions, perhaps from his childhood, typically through references or gags. However, I've realized that despite these references being so clearly built into the series' DNA, it's not something the characters actively talk about or have a keen interest in. It's more often in the form of casually making references to shows they watched as kids - like making a Spongebob joke in a westerner's case.

Since the series focuses primarily on psychological hangups and traumas, I don't actually know about (or can't recall) most of these characters other hobbies or passions aside from the very obvious ones that are defining character traits, or Nadeko who clearly stated she is a huge fan of manga.

So, basically, what I'm wondering is, does Nisio Isin, or any characters within this series, have interests in things like video games, music, other things that fall into an anime fan's wheelhouse? I'd be surprised if Nisio didn't like video games and whatnot - though I don't know him or his life, and not everyone fits into one stereotype.

Next "season"

Has there been any mentions of whether we'd be getting more anime content anytime soon? Or if they're working on more?

I feel like I remember someone saying the episodes we got was a Part 1 a while back on twitter but I think it was just speculation
