Apologies if this is an over asked question. I’m aware of sway translation which is pinned but does reading the fan translated versions impede on the experience in your opinion or were they done well? Also wondering if there is any better versions out there I should be aware of instead?
so this guy cursed kunagisa and was built up as very powerful but when MC confronted the guy at the end he just saw jikoku in his eyes which scared jikoku shitless (its been some years since i read it so i might have forgotten something) But i never understood what he did to affect that villain so much
I made mini analysis of Ii chan quote (it’s in the end of 6 volume)
Hi guys! Does anyone have 10 volume in japanese? I found one on Anna’s archive, but it’s damaged.(and maybe someone has 2-5 volumes of Saikyou)
Hey there! New here and super curious with Zaregoto. I just learn that Kodansha will never finish the translations. So my question is: it worth to get the 3 first physical editions considering that collection will never be completed? These are standalone stories or there is a sequence factor?
Thanks in advance!
!For me the most obvious one is the conversation with miiko after the death of ichihime but ı am sure there are more than this scene.!<
I put it on the Internet Archive: https://archive.org/details/zaregoto-series-pco
Criticism welcome.
I got half way thru book 3 during summer this year but I haven't touched it since, I'm gonna pick it back up at the start of book 3 but first I want to remember the twist at the end of book 2 becaus3 I've forgotten it. I remember that li was unreliable narrator and that the events of the book were portrayed in a completely different way than what actual happened (I remember that he threw up and originally we thought that it was out of sadness but it was actually due to him swallowing something to hide the fact that mikoko was the killer if I remember correctly) but after that I remember pretty much nothing, I know that mikoko was a killer but didn't the murders continue after her death? Please help me
Or are these two different novel?
I
I want to get into this series but are the official translations for vol 1-3 better than the fan tl?
What really was point/theme of the story? Also what is up with the parallel with volume 1 and how did the other guy successfully disguised as Utsurigi without anybody noticing (Im sure there should be at least some physical different to tell them apart).Off question but does Zerozaki ever appears again.
Just was wondering if there are any people or groups that are translating it or are planning on it. Just finished volume 9 and loved it so just wanted to finish the story.
I just finished v4 and am just wondering if i should read the translation of v5 on the sway website or if it is worth waiting for the dutch translation. Any help's appreciated.
Why did the narrator feel the need to lied about his emotional reaction toward mikoko's death?I understand that its to hide the fact that hes hiding evidence or something but couldnt he just say he doesnt care and feel sick after eating something bad or something
I was able to find it thanks to a friend of mine and I wanted to share it here. I think every animation made for such a series is valuable, so I find it somehow and share it here. Whatever you do with it now.
I'm serious it's so insane how underrated and with no future this shit is and the worse is that I fkn love Zaregoto, this shit is a masterpiece that should become popular as fuck, and then you look into it, done in 2002, 3 vol translated officially, 1 anime that somehow was bad (never happened for mono), no reason or way for new fans to get into it as it's not even a tiny bit popular. Zare is just constantly overshadowed by Mono to a ridiculous point, the diff in popularity is like so insane it's not even comparable even though from people reading both it's clearly 50/50 as to which one is better and I would even say there are more ppl who said Zare is better, Mono having the 16th season animated or some shit and you know it's gonna be peak while we been stuck on one bad adaptation, imagine if vol 2 was well adapted, swear to god ppl would love it, it's so peak and way more interesting and entertaining than Nisemono per exemple, but nope fk Zare ! God knows why. And having been reading Zare and seeing all Mono seasons this shit is so depressing, cause seriously for me Zare is >>>> Mono im not even kidding. Being a Zare fan is depressing and a tragedy, it will never become popular, we will never get another anime, vol 10 might be translated in like 6 years ?
Where can I Read it? I only found Vol1.
Help !
I've read the first three books officialy translated and loved them all. Now I really want to read the rest of the series but have seen multiple translations for book 4 and don't know which to select so, I'd like to know which one you guys think is better.
I'm looking for an epub of Volume two that works on Apple Books, the one I found on archive.org sadly doesn't open.
This temporal shift has me kinda of confused
“I knocked once, then went ahead and opened it.”
Why did he choose to describe Kunagisa's room rather than the one he declined? Wouldn't it have made more sense for him to detail the interior of the room he refused to stay in? Could it be that the room he rejected was an exact replica of Kunagisa's, or was there another reason behind his focus on her space?
“the reason hit me as soon as I opened the door”
I’m guessing it was a 1:1 replica of kunagisa’s room texture wise and the overall formality just didn’t suit him.
So I read whole series but I am unable to find epu etc after The thirteen stairs 1st part hmm well anyways It's a great series 2nd volume was my favourite 7th not that good for me because I like the murder mystery aspect the most but a great series indeed
don’t remember the video about aoi mikoko where miku sings?(it was also at the beginning there was zaregoto volume 2 spoilers)
Personally it's Vol 5 for sure, honestly Ive thought so almost every Vol literally but the reveal on Vol 5 was the one where I genuinely thought the answers were genius, Vol 1 and 2 are fkn insane too in that matter, Vol 6 too but for diff reasons
Hey, yesterday i finished reading volume 1, while i thought it was a really good mystery, there are still some things i still think i didnt get. First i understood that Ibuki and Akane had switched identities before coming to the island, but why did (the real) Ibuki murder Akane? I understood that it was a to "start a new life" sort off thing, right? and my other question is if she was pretending to be crippled? they kind off discussed this at the end with Jun and Ii-chan, but still i didnt fully get it
