Had the Blu-ray box set on my Amazon wishlist for the longest back when it was still available for retail but I never pulled the trigger until it was too late and I realized the series isn’t available to really stream anywhere. Got lucky the other day and found an eBay listing for the DVD a little bit above retail so I decided to get it once and for all.
Wish they did a lot more merch/memorabilia for this series.
Have a good day yall
What’s difference between the og manga and the new order i heard it’s have the same ending as the og manga ,is that true?
As the title says, I found out recently that I own a hard to find Part Two dvd of Eureka Seven. I actually started my anime collection about 3 months ago with Part Two being part of a charity auction at an anime convention in Ohio. Managed to get it for $5. I posted about it to another anime collection sub and many of them were confused as to how I was able to get my hands on it since it’s either impossible to find or cost an arm and a leg. I’ve been trying to find its blu ray siblings to have a more aesthetic look on my shelf, but to no avail.
Hope you all liked my Renton piece cause now here's best girl Eureka 🩵 Had so much fun drawing her in this post and Nia's fit.
Just sharing my Renton piece from my revamped Eureka Seven x Gurren Lagann project. I've posted old art of this idea in here some years ago but I doubt anyone here remembers that lol Anyways will be posting more soon hope y'all enjoy 😊
This is my Christmas self-reward for having studied so hard this whole year. I will only open it after taking the JLPT test next week.
This is my: "Don't beg for things; do it yourself, or else you won't get anything."
So I just re watched eureka seven didnt dewy gave his life to set up this complex plan where he could destroy the control cluster without destroying the world? plan for a new control cluster to be born (eureka) he probably knew the scubs wouldn’t want reach the limit of questions and would flee. The second summer of love was put in motion by “that man”
Not happy about what I paid for it, but seeing as Crunchyroll doesn’t want to stream the original series for whatever reason, I figured it was time I got the series on disc.
Soo, I've finished rewatching Eureka Seven for the fifth (or was it the sixth?) time, and man, it just feels right. Down to the character development, worldbuilding, OST, everything just fits into place. The pacing and the writing could've been better at the end -- I still don't understand what Dewey was trying to do at the very end -- not to harp against it though, as the emotional highs absolutely make up for it. But anyways, what were your favorite parts?
Me personally, episode 25 will always remain one of my favorite episodes of all anime. I really like Will and his philosophy on how humans should interact with the world at hand, and the orchestral BGM playing as he gives his monologue to Renton. Just simply unmatched. >!He really didn't serve that fate at the end though.!<
Also, that one-off episode with the old digger really hit home for some reason. Working away while the world slowly changes, while you're too stubborn to change yourself and deluding yourself in the process.
In terms of quotes, it has to be Charles's piece of dialogue with Renton: "Freedom is something that you need to actively acquire. It's not something that's given with no strings attached. To be free means to take responsibility, and prepare yourself for what's to come."
I just finally picked up a Bandai trans model r606, r808 and r909 but they are much larger than the Bandai spirits nirvash. So I was wondering if anyone here happened to own the r606 and r909 model kits, I’m curious to see how they scale together ?
I grew up watching eureka seven and now I’m 20, and NOBODY KNOWS WHAT IT IS. I am beyond devastated. I try and make people watch it, and they say it’s BORING????? What part of aliens and robots humans discovered under the earth from centuries ago that have souls that can connect and tie with humans is BORING? THERE ARE SKY PIRATES. TALHO. WHAT ABOUT TALHO IS THAT NOT REASON ENOUGH?? This show is so beautiful and artistic and moving and I NEED MORE PEOPLE TO LOVE IT AS MUCH AS ME IT DESERVES MORE
Show itself was insane, overall lore and the ending really got me. Do you know any other great shows like this?
I watched this show on adult swim when I was a teenager and loved it. Since then I've had like, a whole life. This show came back to mind a few months ago and I know my wife would love it. But... I don't wanna spend $200 for the blu-ray. What's the play here? Thanks!
Just finished the manga, and that ending is insane. I tried googling, and apparently Eureka comes back to life? i think? they travel the world together and drop the kids off with the grandpa? where can i read this?
Seeing the amount of screenplay had Hi-Evo 3 it was obviously the disaster that was, especially that Tomoki Kyouda got into. I feel that Kyouda was the problem in this trilogy, and the others projects out of the original series.
Perdón por cualquier problema de idioma, aún no se bien inglés
Does somebody know where i can read the interview to Tomoki Kyouda by Otaquest? Because the page is down and i can't find it :(
Perdón por el inglés malo, pero no hablo el idioma :(
In all seriousness, huge fan of the series for over a decade now. Aesthetically, character design wise, story and depth wise the show is top tier. Eureka Seven (AO included) also has one of the best soundtracks.
From time to time I like to sample songs from the OSTs and get creative.
For this one I used a Sample from the Hi-Evo ost. By no means do I consider myself a pro or even really good at producing for that matter. I just enjoy making tunes as a hobby. I particularly enjoy sampling from video games and anime. Thanks reading and or listening.
Also, Holland Novak is my Fave character in the series.
I started with watching Hi Evolution because I was curious about what came out after Eureka Seven, only for it to make me crave watching the series again. Still such amazing anime and story still, years later from it's first run. It still makes me feel so deeply
I have wanted to build a Nirvash for years, finally managed to get this kit at my local shop. It was hidden behind a lot of HG gunpla, SD kits, and Pokemon kits. Like in a corner, barely visible, I wouldn't have noticed it if my (future)wife hadn't pointed out a few kits that were in front of it. Moral of the story, always check the back of the shelfs. (Also, pardon the keyboard in the shot. Will post pics once it's built)
